I originally saw his father, and Dr. Ian has inherited all the skills and patience that his father had. I also go in regularly for dental hygiene with Maria, and am just as happy with her work to keep my teeth looking and feeling healthy! Maria works quickly and I always walk away feeling like I have a new set of teeth. The office is in a beautifully restored Craftsman style house near Highway 101 and also close to Poly. It is clean, calm and relaxing. The front office staff is also attentive and patient. They can navigate the intricacies of billing and scheduling with cheer and ease. Dr. Ian also works on Saturdays, and they can fit you in should you have a dental emergency. They can also recommend specialists in the area if you need further work like dental surgery. The only downside for me is that they are out of my dental insurance provider, but I still get partial reimbursement. I would never go anywhere else because the quality of the work here is worth paying a bit extra for!

I started on my journey with him in March of 2020. My teeth were an absolute mess! Super crooked and crowded. After having some work done before the braces like gum grafting and 4 teeth pulled, the real work of fixing my crazy teeth began. After many, many appointments, adjustments, relocating of brackets and, replacing of wires, I finally found my smile. I would have rarely smiled with my teeth in the past, but now I smile all the time! It took 37 months of Dr Freeman's talent and skills to bring me a truly amazing smile. I am so grateful for that! I did have to do a new patient paper work thingy (not bad at all). I did not have my insurance card and they still did the whole check up, very cool. All three ladies up front were super nice. Waiting room is a good size. Did not have to worry about being crowded as there was only one guy in there. Btw I really like the location, tucked away off of 41. Miss Potter helped me to the room and did my first test thing where she used a wand to take pictures of all my teeth and ended up with a cool mold of my teeth on the screen. She was very nice and personable. Then the dr came in and even more laughes began. He was funny, witty, intelligent, and thorough. Dr freeman even used a ruler to measure teeth, overbite, etc. Found out I have a little tongue tied issue! Never knew that before, might get that snipped in the future. This dentice twice gave me a verbal quote of $4,200, $2,100 per tooth, to build two teeth to be installed over completed dental implants. Within two weeks I was billed for the first tooth in the amount of $2,680 instead of $2,100, but I was told by the assistant that was the price with no explanation. I paid the bill reluctantly. I wrote a letter to the dentist saying the fitting process was extremely painful and it took over two hours. He never explained the reason. I was asked to pay the balance of $2,680, again, more than his original quote. It turns out that the tooth was oversized and did not fit, but the dentist didn't admit it until I returned for a consultation months later. He admitted that tooth was not seated all the way and food would penetrate underneath it, and could cause infection. It's has been very painful from the start. The dentist suggested having an adjace nt tooth shaved but he wanted to charge for that third tooth even though he caused the problem. So now, one year later, I am stuck with the pain, and must hire another dentist and pay more money to have the mistake fixed.

Ultimately, I chose Dr. Weaver because he is also an MD and I would need to be put under. Today was supposed to be my surgery. I arrived on time and waited in the office for an hour. When I asked what was going on, the reception said they were behind and fixing up two rooms for the other person in the lobby so the surgeon could work on us both. What?? I am here for surgery, not a tandem get er' done fix it. To top it off, at that moment, after waiting an hour, I found out I had been booked with Dr. Bush and not the doctor I had requested! Everything felt wrong, so I asked for a refund and left the office. This is the first time I have felt the need to write a review for a business, it was shockingly bad.

Wow! I was Refered to "Dr Weaver" personally by Johnson Dental next door. When he came into my…read moreappointment to be evaluated for oral surgery, he told me that my dentist was the wrong person to diagnose the problem with dental extrusions going up into both of my sinus cavities. After cutting down my dentist, who was the one doctor who DID read my CT scan and identified the problem in the first place, he continued to talk about why he wouldn't do anything about it. I recorded a video of his "findings" and showed it to my referring dentist. She was stunned by his arrogance, and couldn't believe he would undercut her like that when the diagnosis of extrusion in my sinuses were so clear on the CT scan she had just done... and that I brought in with me. Weaver sent me to a ENT doc, who said Dr Weaver didn't have any idea what he was talking about at all. I was going to ignore this and let my dental insurance deal with him and cover this. Months later I got a bill from some doctor collective billing company in Michigan saying I owed another $120 for a 20min consultation where this guy spent me of his time telling me how bad my other doctors was. I just couldn't pay it in good conscience. Justin Weaver is a good looking guy, and I'm sure he knows and uses it to his advantage. Unfortunately he's gotten away with bluster, cutting other good doctors down, and passing off the responsibility for the work he is supposed to be an expert in, by saying they are wrong and he is right. His opinion meant absolutely zero in my case, and I can't believe my dental insurance company paid him a dime for his bill!
