I don't think that is a big ask for someone who just spent a bunch of money to have the floors redone. I would steer clear of these unprofessional people. AJ Appliance is coming out next week. Tom picked up listened to my issue and told me he would call me back between 7 to 7:30 Monday. Fast forward to Monday he called me 7:30 on the dot. Said he would be there 9-11. 9:40 he calls and they are on their way. They came over and changed the belt. After that it had to cycle through because it's the new fangled kind that has a bunch of electronic crap. So they left for another customer and told me to give them a call after it cycled through. Of course it didn't work and it kicked my bracket off. I have them a ring and they said they had to call Speed Queen to trouble shoot and get back to me. So of course I thought they weren't going to get back to me and now the issues would start. Not so! Within an hour they called me back to say they had spoken with a tech and the electrical board had to be replaced. They'd be back in 20 minutes. It's awesome to work with a company that is punctual and does what it takes to keep the customer satisfied. Make sure you tip these guys!

I came in intending to buy a new carburetor for my snow blower, but since they didn't have one in…read morestock, the guy at the front desk said they could clean my existing carburetor for $25. That sounded reasonable, so I agreed. I brought the carburetor back in, was told it would be ready the next day, and to their credit, they did call me the following afternoon to say it was done. When I came to pick it up, I also bought a bottle of oil for an oil change, which was $10. At checkout, I was told the total was $67. I questioned the price because I was explicitly quoted $25 for the cleaning. Only then was I told that it "needed a rebuild kit," which added $27, something that was never discussed, approved, or even mentioned beforehand. To be clear: * Original quoted price: $25 * Added rebuild kit (without notice): $27 * That is a 108% increase over the quoted price ($27 ÷ $25 = 108%) * And that's before the $10 oil purchase The carburetor itself had been used fewer than five times, and while I admit I made the mistake of leaving gas in it (with stabilizer), I was never shown or clearly explained what was actually rebuilt. All the parts looked the same, and I was handed two extra gaskets that didn't even fit. The biggest issue here isn't the repair, it's the lack of communication and authorization. You don't double the cost of a service without calling the customer first. Had I been told upfront, I could have made an informed decision. This experience left a bad taste, and unfortunately, I wouldn't return or recommend this place based on how this was handled.
