Apparently, this is the oldest cigar shop in the entire country. I was looking for present for a friend I was staying with and I thought a nice Cuban would be a great gift. I stumbled upon this shop while getting a drink at Icha Tea across the street. When you walk upstairs, it's pretty much some cigar workshop where people might be rolling up some tobacco or just chillin' out. They have lots of old-looking Havana-themed cigar paraphernalia. I guess you could tell they've been around for a long time and it's the real deal. The lady showed me what they had and I made my choice. The presentation of products was great. She gave me a good deal since I paid with cash. So, pro-tip is ask for a discount if you pay with some paper!

This is a very cool old school tobacco shop recommended by a local, we met in our hotel bar. They hand roll their own cigars with imported Cuban tobacco. The walls are filled with pictures of the famous celebrity cigar customers who are fans of Correnti Cigars. We bought some freshly hand rolled cigars for a good price. If you like cigars this is the place to get them in Toronto.

This is the only cigar shop I know of that offers hand rolled cigar on site. The entrance is actually away from King Street and is easy to miss. After you go up stairs you are taken into a sales/rolling area. Lots of pictures with celebrities on the wall. The service is top notch as I inquired about getting keepsake cigars for an upcoming nuptials for a friend. Both of the sales persons were very helpful and took their time in explaining the options I had available. That's big upside for owning your business and selling your product :) Since they manufacture their own cigars in different sizes and blends its not really a fair comparison on the variety they carry as compared to other stores. The prices seem reasonable as I got a Robosto size for $$ and you can get some cigars for even $.They carry your usual accessories which seem in line with other reasonably priced stores. Not much variety though. I was tempted to try out my purchase across the street at Bier Market but didn't have much time today. Proof is in the pudding so I will have revise the review after I have tried out the cigars I bought today. It will have an impact on the overall rating for this place. Now that I have smoked the cigar I am adjusting my rating to three stars. The Cigar was very average though priced reasonably for a Robosto. Maybe their heritage blends fare better. Would I consider it over good stuff from cuba no way. I think its a good starting place for beginners so one can develop one's taste. Full marks for service.

I've always dabbled in cigars, as most guys with a vague interest do. You know, you go on vacation buy a couple, pay an outrageous sum, come home and forget about them. It's certainly not a habit I plan on taking up full time, but if I'm going yo have a cigar, it better be fresh, and after my visit last weekend, it better be from Franks. As most have mentioned, FCs is hidden back from King st W near Portland. As I walked up the cedar panelled stairwell I couldn't help but compare the entrance to something similar to a speakeasy. You basically gotta know someone who knows about this place to find it. Walking in the shop is unconventional, looking more like a warehouse on a second floor than a cigar manufacturer that caters to some of the biggest celebrities past and present. That didn't change my experience either way, but when you see a long hallway lined with celeb pictures, you know you're in higher right place. It was close to closing time so it was only staffed by a single roller and a staffer. The guy who helped us was a real guys guy, no BS, knows his customer the minute we walked in and knew how to help us. He explained that they are mostly a custom order shop, but for walk-ins you were at the mercy of whatever they have extra of that day. Not a hard pill to swallow let me tell you that. For custom orders you can choose from many of there standard and special order sizes and various levels of tobacco (from a mid level up to a super premium). My friend and I picked up a couple of $11.50 cigars and being first timers the guy let us have'em for $10 each. Something he didn't haves to do, but I really appreciated it. I can only imagine what other service FC offers to clients spending mega bucks if they take even little guys like us seriously. Big thanks for the awesome experience and the amazing cigars, I've never smoked something that burned so evenly and so smooth for so long. I'll be back for sure..

Although l they only had the robustos available, I was overwhelmed by the excellent draw, and flavor.

Yesterday I bought a vape and it stopped working today, so I twisted It out to use it in a…read moredifferent battery and when I did that a wire came out with the cartridge. So I guess it was from the battery anyhow. So I put the cartridge in a different battery that I have and it still didn't work and I had a few more cartridges that I had bought from the same place and they worked. So it was specifically this one cartridge that wouldn't work. So I'm explaining that to the guy behind the counter and you know he's being very pleasant, but he's almost acting like how unfortunate of a situation it is... Which I was wondering why would he be behaving this way? Isn't he just going to replace it? So I asked him I said so are you going to replace it or what happens from here? And he said oh no we don't replace them and I said but I just bought it yesterday I paid like 40 bucks for it and he said yeah no we don't do that. I was completely beside myself as I literally just paid 40 bucks for it yesterday and clearly it's the battery they gave me or it's the cartridge like it has nothing to do with me and so he gives me a piece of paper with yocan written on it and battery beside it I guess maybe I'm supposed to get hold of yocan and then underneath it it says back 40 cush mint that was the flavor of my cartridge LOL. So I don't know how that is supposed to help me When I'm gone out of your store so I get home anyways and I totally see that there's these random stupid things written on the paper makes no sense. So I call the store to try and find out what's going on because there's no way on Earth that I'm going to get screwed over for my 40 bucks. I literally go shopping there almost every single day of the week like I spend so much money there. It's outrageous!! So yeah I call the store back and the guy that was on the phone seemed really pleasant and I'm not sure what's going to happen from here. If I'm going to get some kind of help with this cartridge of mine or if they're just literally going to just act like it's no big deal because the guy said to me. Yeah that's not our problem like that your vape stopped working or your battery broke. That's not his problem. So whose problem is it? I gave you my $40 for the vape and then I gave you the 20 bucks for the battery. Like whose problem does this become.... There's also a stoked around here amongst a couple of other weed stores that I used before. Friendly stranger came in the neighborhood. See because friendly stranger I've been using since these weed stores came into effect. So once they moved into my neighborhood I naturally went and started using them. Well, that's not going to happen anymore when I use the other place around here. Stoked! If something happens to your vape or anything that you have, they will deal with it. They stand behind their name... So I was you know mortified you know losing with the battery like you know almost 60 bucks right? So I will no longer be using friendly stranger and I don't recommend any of you use it if you value your money because if something happens to anything you buy from them they are not responsible for it. They will not help you. They are just not interested so I'll be going back to stoked where they stand behind their product. They stand behind their name and yeah like a legitimate business should I'm going to give this five stars only because I do not want to give it one star or it will go right to the bottom and people need to read this. Like when you go to their store they should tell you when you first walk in and become a client. Just so you know we do not stand behind our name. We do not stand behind our products. Just know that before you spend your money here!! Signed. Extremely disappointed, that a company such as yourselves "friendly stranger" does not stand behind their product or their name and or take care of your clientelle in a fashion that we deserve. I mean I must spend hundreds of dollars there in a week. Never mind in a month in a month I don't even want to know how much I spend there....

Awesome store with a friendly staff. The friendly stranger is definitely worth checking out as they…read morehave everything you could ask for in a relaxing and aesthetic set up.
