I've been coming here for years now, and while the name outside and some of the faces inside may…read morehave changed over time, I have been very pleased with the care provided by my doctor at Main Street Medical Group (MSMG), Dr. David Amrhein. Dr. Amrhein is very conversational, thorough, and attuned to his patients' care. If he is accepting new patients, I would highly recommend him and individually rate him "5 Stars," because he is honestly one of the best family doctors out there, in my opinion. The reason I rate MSMG "Four Stars" is only due to the staff here, NOT the doctors or nurses. The receptionist staff in particilar at times can make you feel like simply a number (I feel like all I am is an insurance card and a date of birth to them at times), but overall I feel that they are effective in coordinating my care. Any issues I may have come across (i.e. insurance, etc.) eventually were resolved without too much inconvenience, but I felt at times that I was given service by them that was less-than-their-best in terms of coordinating my care. Again, in summary, MSMG gets an overall "4 Star" rating from me with superior patient care from the medical team, and about average coordination of care and/or service by the other staff here.

Beacon is unreliable and unable to schedule phlebotomy. Last year I had to schedule the same blood…read moredraw five times. iIt was scheduled 6 months in advance. They called to reschedule due to insufficient staffing. The week before the new date, they called again to reschedule due to insufficient staffing. A friend suggested I get the draw at the beacon hospital. I went to the hospital to schedule a blood draw and was informed that I had to call scheduling foran appointment, but they could take walk ins. I waked in the next day and got my blood draw, but the staff told me they would not be able to take walk ins once the new wing was completed due to work load. I reviewed my blood test on line to find they had only done half the testing the doctor requested. I went back to Granger to get new orders to take to Lab Corp, and they said they could work me in the next morning between patients. The next morning I went to the Granger lab and I was the only patient there. meanwhile, my wife was experiencing the same problem, and they told her to go to Lab Corp. In December, I needed to schedule more bloodwork, and asked if I should go to Lab Corp. Beacon assured me they had hired more phlebotomists abd the problems were over. Feb 12 I received a text telling me to rescdule my April blood draw as they did not have enough staff to cover it. They are unreliable, incompetent, and confused.

I refer countless clients of mine to this facility, as well as friends of mine. As a behavior analyst for children on the autism spectrum, I highly recommend the quick, yet absolute quality care that my family receives, as that is what I want my own clients to receive medically. I have never had a bad provider from this location. One provider specifically, I ALWAYS hope to get is Dr. McBride. Hearing he no longer works at the clinic is absolutely disheartening. The compassionate care he provides to my family, in some of my most vulnerable moments, is priceless. This facility has lost the best provider I have ever of having the privilege to be treated by. Maintaining quality care should be a top priority of health care systems, and I am confident that unfortunately, this facility will suffer due to this disservice to the community.

(I can judge physicians fairly well because I was in the healthcare business for 30 years--so I recognize "the good and the bad.") Dr. Tuttle stands out among the rest. He takes so much time to listen and seems to be in the practice of medicine because he genuinely wants to be of help to his patients. He has even developed a pricing plan for those of us who have very high deductibles and are paying without insurance. I highly recommend him for many reasons!
