Constantly rescheduling appts, constant short-term admins who just do not know what's going on, AND I am still getting cavities and other gum issues fixed by a different dentist because Francis Parks' dentists just straight up neglected me for years. They just cleaned my teeth and let me go, I don't think any of them bothered to look at my charts, they never warned me I should start flossing more seriously or brushing more strictly, etc. read more

I am in terrible pain because of a tooth that needs to be pulled. The soonest they could schedule to procedure was a month away. So I have to sit in tremendous pain because they can't figure out how to prioritize their clients. I set up an appointment with a different dental facility and am trying to get my X-rays from Francis Park Dentistry to the new place and suddenly, Francis Park Dentistry decides to close for 2 days. The website says they should be open. But no one can tell me why they're closed or when they can have my X-Rays sent over. I can't even drive over to pick up the X-rays because no one is in the office. So my only remedy is to pay out of pocket for new X-rays at the new dental office. Francis Park Dentistry will screw you and leave you in excruciating pain for a month. And I found out that I was the last patient the dentist had on his last day 2 weeks ago. Very poor communication. I have had my appointment rescheduled twice at the last minute. The first time it was a day before my appointment and ended up being almost 2 months out from my original appointment. The second time I got rescheduled 3 weeks out from my expected appointment date and no one from the office informed me. The only reason I knew I was rescheduled was because I called to confirm my appointment for the next day. I understand there being a shift in management or available dentist but the lack of communication I cannot understand. If they didn't have the means to support their current clientele they should have said so or recommended other offices. I could've had an appointment somewhere else instead of waiting around on them. I used to love coming here,but it seems like a majority of the quality staff has left,leaving it barely operational. I got this lovely message today about needing to schedule a cleaning after 2 of my appointments were canceled with barely a days notice after I took off work multiple times and rearranged my schedule. I really dislike going to the dentist, but can honestly say that I'm a big fan of Francis Park Dentistry. My first impression was speaking with Whitney who was friendly and patient with me. Upon arriving, the receptionists greeted me warmly and the office was clean and welcoming. (Parking is limited to a tiny lot or street parking, which I did not like, but there's not much they can do about that.) The technician who took me back for x-rays (Keya?) was INCREDIBLY nice to me which I really appreciated. I was very nervous and she was calm, gentle, and helped to make me feel more comfortable. I was so grateful for her. Then, the highlight of the entire visit: I met Dr. Margaree Lachowiez. I cannot recommend Dr. L enough. She made me feel incredibly safe in an environment that usually causes me a lot of anxiety. She is kind, knowledgeable, and charming. Beyond that, she really takes pride in her work and takes the time to do it right. After the dentist I'd seen all my life retired, I had a difficult time finding someone to replace him. I'm happy to say that now I have. Dr. Lachowiez will be my dentist from now on. Dental work is expensive, but they go over the entire breakdown of costs with you so there are no surprises. Everyone I met there was friendly and welcoming. I wish I could remember everyone's name, but I honestly have nothing negative to say about anyone there. The one mark against them: My husband had an appointment with Dr. L. and went in only to discover she is now at their other office, Ballwin Modern Dentistry (also a nice office). Dentists are terrible. This one isn't. That really should be the end of the review but for those who want more details: The office was clean and the receptionists friendly. I forget the name of the nice lady who brought me back and took my X-Rays but she was kind and gentle and made me feel comfortable. My dentist mas Margaree Lachowiez and she was wonderful, charming, and made me feel very relaxed. I understand that the ADA recommends you go to a dentist twice a year. While the staff is generally friendly, I cannot say that I would recommend this practice. Multiple occasions they have charged me for services I didn't want/need, forced me to get services my insurance didn't cover without checking with me or confirming with my insurance. I complained until all of a sudden I didn't need a certain service anymore. The last straw was when they tried to force me to put down a deposit on a crown because I had to move the appointment DUE TO MY WIFE GOING INTO LABOR! What a joke. They hide this, but they are NOT a local dental practice. They are a corporate dentistry owned by Pacific Dental Services- who owns and operates 800 dentistry locations across 24 states. They will try and milk their patients for every penny they can because that is what corporate healthcare and dental practices do. Their dental team is a revolving door of different dentists and hygienists that constantly leave and go elsewhere after very short stints. That is a huge red flag and indicator of how they operate. I have gone to Francis Park in the past but was nervous about this visit since I hadn't been since before my daughter was born because you know...life gets in the way and no one wants to go to the dentist. Dr. Habibi is wonderful! She is so non judgmental and very approachable. She was very understanding of pregnant women not wanting to come while experiencing nausea. She told me about the changes seen during pregnancy and gave special attention to those areas. I got a laser treatment and she didn't try to talk me into additional treatments I didn't need. Had an emergency with a broken tooth, was told I could not get into their office for 4 months. This was after calling 2 different times and not receiving a call back after explaining the emergency. I am in pain, in need of antibiotics and was told to wait 4 months. This tooth has been an issue since 2020. I was repeatedly told that we would address it at the next visit however each visit they put it off to the next as each time I went I saw a different dentist due to their constant turn over. They were incredibly rude about this situation, barely gave a suggestion of where to go next even though THEY are the reason I am in this situation. Wow. What can I say? About an hour after I wrote my initial review, Francis Park reached out to me to talk about my experience. And from that moment on, they did everything they could to right the wrong. They immediately got me in for a follow-up and took responsibility for what happened (and informed me that the original dentist who did my work was no longer there). They ended up crediting me for my onlay and put it toward my root canal which helped me tremendously! Dr. Habibi was awesome. She did an absolutely beautiful job on my teeth and made me feel as comfortable as possible during what had been quite a difficult process. I haven't been to a dentist in about 5 years and found Francis Park through insurance near me, there were a couple hiccups getting me and caused my appointment to be delayed for a couple months but I am SO glad I rescheduled with them instead of looking for someone else. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a very anxious when it comes to dental work and between the hygienist, doctor and technician I have absolutely nothing bad to say. People there are very friendly and have done a decent job to clean my teeth, but it was just weird they called me the afternoon after my visit saying they forgot to charge me for $59 exam fee. I only wanted my cleaning done and she never disclosed that exam fee is an additional $59 during my visit, so my total visit came up to $107 + $59, which is overpriced in my opinion. Dr. Nathoo is awesome! He makes good small talk and takes an interest in you as a whole person. I really like that he explains everything that he's doing before he does it. I guess I don't like surprises but it's really nice to know what your doctor is doing. I've struggled to floss all of my life and Dr. Nathoo gave me a hard reality check. He told me that every single place I've had a cavity is due to lack of flossing. I've never had anyone connect the dots like that for me. I've definitely got better at flossing because of that. If I could give a lower rating I would. Possibly the worst run dental practice in the St Louis area. I made an appointment for a fitting for a fake tooth partial for tomorrow morning. I explained that I needed it before moving out of state. I was already in the process of getting an implant and was 6 weeks from having a front tooth removed. They confirmed an appointment this morning and then called and canceled the appointment later in the day. The explanation was that I didn't need an aftercare appointment because I needed an implant appointment later. I had explained exactly the type of appointment I needed initially. That I couldn't finish treatment here because I was moving. After 25 minutes on hold, I was told that the appointment coordinator had gone home for the day and there wasn't anything they could do. Francis Park Dentistry made me lose at least 1 hour of my time as they aren't too organized. On the phone nobody told me to bring my xrays with me, however I got to the office and I was told to show them my previous xrays as I told them I do not want the extra radiation. I managed to access my google drive and finally sent them my xrays, however later on was told that I still need to do xrays with them even though my xrays were complete and were done in the last 12 months. I needed a new dentist and I chose Francis Park based on the really great Yelp reviews. I called and was able to schedule an appointment really soon. They had me fill out all my initial paperwork online through an email they sent me. You create a profile which keeps all of your visit and info accessible whenever you want. The people here are beyond friendly. I stressed in my paperwork how TERRIFIED i am of the dentist. The noise and smell the x-ray bite clips that go in your mouth for images. All of it makes me nauseous. This place seriously put my nerves at bay. The technician was so personable and she took the images very quickly. The dental hygienist is a sweetheart and made the process of cleaning my teeth a breeze. The dentist answered every single (thousands of) questions I had. She wanted to make sure I understood everything and was happy. The facility is nice. The seats all have TV's so you have something to distract you and calm the nerves. I was so impressed with my visits that I cancelled my husbands other dentist appointment and schedule him an appointment to come here. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Hands down, the best experience I have ever had at a dental office... and they even found a cavity, so that should say a lot. Everyone in this practice is friendly, informative and quite thorough from start to finish with regards to plan of care if you need work done, maintenance in between visits, addressing any concerns or questions you have and payment/insurance topics. What I liked most about Francis Park Denistry is that I was spoken to, not about, which had been the case for me elsewhere. I was very much "in the loop" during the examination & cleaning, and I thought it was a great touch that Dr. Lehmuth took time at the beginning of the appointment for a quick consultation. The office is extremely clean and has really nice finishes and furnishings. I was so excited that they had televisions at the chairs for patients - hello, Beverly Hilton! I am not the bravest person when it comes to the dentist. I had some issues with 2 teeth that needed immediate attention and the office got me in the next day. Dr. Eva was fantastic ! This place is truly amazing. I have general anxiety, as well as anxiety about dentistry in general. The entire staff is the nicest group of people I have ever come across. Not just for a dental office, but any office I have ever been to. They make you feel calm and ease your nerves. They make you person and not a source of income. They make you feel like you belong. In the past 6 months I've had them do a crown, an onlay, and 4 fillings. I had a broken tooth I went in for just last week. They did the whole process of checking it out, prep, crafting an onlay (with their on-site milling machine), and cementing it in place in a single visit. (An onlay is kinda like a partial crown, keeping more of your natural tooth) And I let them do it in one visit! I don't think any other office would be able to achieve that with my anxiety, and it was because they made me feel so comfortable. read more
