My flowers were so beautiful and unique, in a white, old fashioned box with buckles and gold trim. It had the most beautiful white and green colour scheme (my fav colours) with white lilies and an array of beautiful green flowers and leaves. One stem was actually fashioned into an 'S' shape, the first letter of my name. The arrangement was so different you could tell a lot of thought and design had gone into the arrangement and selection of flowers. I have been fairly cynical in recent times to the value for money available at the florists I'd used, so much so, that the last time I wanted an impressive array I got up at the crack of dawn and drove to the flower markets at Rocklea, but there wasn't time for that, so Flowers by the Bay it was. When I arrived to pick up the bouquet imagine my surprise when she produced two of the lovliest and most generoud selections I'd seen in a very long time. This leads me to assume that their speciality is making arrangements rather than selling bulk stock. Despite my small amount of confusion, I found this to be a lovely store, possessing that calm tranquillity that comes with the florist territory. I walked past here yesterday in fact and it was the sparkling pearls in the window that drew me in like a moth to a flame, rather than the flowers. They have some nice arrangements of flowers as well as gifts like balloons and novelties. The necklaces are really beautiful, some jewelled, some pearls and some a combination of both.

There are cushions, umbrellas, bags, random pieces to hang on the wall, little stuffed animals and dolls, and the list goes on. The shelves are packed full of merchandise with mismatched items sitting side by side; I felt like I was browsing a market stall rather than a shop, which is a wonderful thing in my opinion. The fact that the shop itself has no special embellishments, is simple with an unpolished floor and rather subdued light instalments, adds greatly to the effect. I absolutely loved the way everything was set out, the charming organised chaos, the impressive range of items and the pleasant atmosphere.
