I also really hoped to spend some time mingling, instead of dealing with food...PLUS I wanted the actual meal to be something special (i.e. beautiful) and delicious? Oh, and not Take-out, or a 'drop and run' food delivery leaving me to figure out set up...Right. After calling around to several local restaurants, I got curious about what a "private chef" was all about. Enter Chef Warren. After a short conversation it was clear this gentleman was 1. A true professional 2. kind, accommodating, and down-to-earth 3. could read my mind and put my 'vision' on a menu while still keeping costs in mind. At total ease with everything from food allergies to aesthetics to cuisine styles. All necessary serving equipment we needed was available and he would even check out our event facility to avoid any surprises . His menu selections were top notch, and my husband and I were thrilled with the outcome. We did 3 appetizers before the 4 course meal began. We did the elote (street corn) appetizer, tuna tartare, and lamb chop. Of note, I don't eat lamb at all, but Eric's Lamb chop was AN AMAZING FLAVOR BOMB! He was able to customize a couple dishes to my preference and even adjusted a few as he was preparing them the night of for a couple of my guests.
