Brooke came highly recommended to us from a friend to help us find our first home. Brooke is an amazing real estate agent and a wonderful, genuine person. She's an absolute delight to work with. She's extremely knowledgeable and well-connected in Oakland and Berkeley where we were looking. She was happy to answer all our questions as we navigated an extremely challenging and nuanced real estate market. She really understood what my partner and I were looking for and it felt great knowing we were in such good hands with her. I can't recommend her highly enough. read more

Brooke was absolutely incredible to work with. She stepped in to help sell my grandfather's home during a stressful and unexpected time, and she handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional skill. Although we originally started the process with another agent we know and love, Brooke seamlessly took over due to a personal emergency and guided us through the rest of the sale with ease. She kept us informed every step of the way and made what could have been a very difficult transition feel smooth and manageable. I'm incredibly grateful for her support and would absolutely recommend Brooke to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She's a true professional and a pleasure to work with. read more

I chose to work with Brooke because she had already helped several of my friends purchase their homes. They all had amazing things to say about her and strongly recommended that I work with her - I couldn't be more glad that I did! Brooke was amazingly well informed and helpful throughout my search and eventual home purchase. She answered any questions I had, let me know what to look out for, and made the whole (very complex) process feel smooth and easy. I can't recommend Brooke highly enough! read more

Ended up getting referred to Brooke to help us find our first home and man did we get lucky! We had no idea what we were doing and Brooke was incredible every step of the way. From helping us narrow in on the area that was actually a good fit for us (from what we thought we wanted at first) to decoding potential costs to fix a home. She was so communicative and on top of the ball, honestly 2 steps ahead of us all the time. Her knowledge of the market and network with others helped us confidently submit an offer that was accepted. Our time with Brooke was relatively short, we connected with her at the end of June and we got the keys to our house mid-August. She hustled and got us our home so quickly. You won't regret working with her. She is such a hard worker and we felt taken care of the entire time. read more

Extremely satisfied with Brooke's services. As a first-time seller, she made the process as smooth and digestible as possible. She walked me through every step of the way as I would have expected a family member to. She demonstrated her history of real estate knowledge and experience through strategizing, listing, negotiating and finalizing escrow. I trusted her to guide me in making the best decisions for the best possible outcomes. Not only was she upfront and realistic with us about challenges that did arise, but she took initiative to present a range of solutions for us to choose from when she called them to our attention. I fully trusted Brooke and am eternally grateful to her for getting the deal sealed while being cognizant of our tight timeline. Her dedication to her clients and her practice is unmatched. THANK YOU BROOKE! read more

The stars aligned in our recent housing search, and Brooke was one of the stars! She helped make the process feel exciting, enjoyable, and easy. We were thrilled and amazed by how quickly we went from the start of our search to a new house--less than two weeks from our first call with Brooke to when we had our (first and only!) offer accepted. Starting with our first conversation, she took care to learn what we were looking for, and she quickly became a trusted advisor as we honed in on places we were excited about. During the offer process, her relationships with the selling agent and lender provided insights that helped us put together a winning bid. Brooke is a prompt and thorough communicator and listener. Through the whole process, from start of search, to putting in the offer, to escrow, to helping us get set up in our new place afterwards, she has been right there with us, proactively making sure we felt supported and highly responsive to any questions and requests we've had. We're so happy the she's our real estate agent! Thank you, Brooke! read more

First, I would like to start off with a summary: Brooke is: -Professional -Very personable and friendly -Extremely patient and understanding -Very supportive of her clients -Has an immaculate attention to detail -Always willing to go the extra mile I usually don't write reviews but Brooke did such an amazing job in helping me buy a home, I just had to! Brooke is an amazingly friendly and personable person. She always has a smile on her! Her professionalism is exceptional! I've watch other real estate agents just be downright rude with her! She handle it professionally. She didn't let it deter her and got the answers I was looking for. Brooke isn't one of those real estate agents that will push you to buy a home. She's very patient and caring for her clients and will work with you until you're 100% satisfied! She will show up to all your inspections, meetings with the other party, and even the loan signing (she doesn't even need to be there but she is there to be supportive!). And you want her to be at your inspections because her attention to detail is immaculate! She found many issues that I would have never seen and pointed them out for me during our walkthrough. Brooke is always willing to go the extra mile for you as well! For example, she went out of her way to pick up the keys for me and deliver it a few cities away (I was stuck at work and couldn't go grab the keys myself). She even helped with drafting up a rental lease and providing valuable advice on what to include! She didn't have to do any of those things but she does anyways. That is just the type of person she is! From how I see it, Brooke is a young rising star real estate agent representing the Bay Area. I truly recommend her to anyone looking for real estate in the area! You'd want to have Brooke as your realtor and develop that relationship now! Because in the future, she is going to be that top real estate agent! read more

It only took 13 days (!) from my first conversation with Brooke to having an offer accepted, and I was all moved in to my gorgeous new place just over 8 weeks after that initial phone call. Brooke is patient, tireless, and a hustler - she answered a million first-time buyer questions, helped me zero in on what I wanted, and showed me a TON of places in just a few outings until we found something perfect. She also kicks ass behind the scenes, checking emails after-hours, keeping the seller's agent, lender and escrow on schedule, and tending to the tiny transactional details. And I second an earlier review, she's clearly taken the time to develop solid relationships with other agents (as well as lenders and contractors!) that gave us confidence we were making competitive bids. Had such a great experience that I immediately introduced a friend who had been looking for ~2 years, and Brooke helped her close on a house just a month after me. Thank you Brooke! read more

Brooke was extremely helpful to us when buying our home in Oakland. The market is competitive here and our budget was limited but her and her team helped us find and purchase our dream home in just a few weeks. She was knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. Brooke was also well-connected and gave us resources for post-purchase services such as electricians, contractors, etc. She is personable and lovely to work with which made the process pleasant. read more

Brooke is the absolute best. When my partner and I started our housing search, it felt like we'd stepped into a whole new, intimidating world. And as we talked with and met different realtors, it started to feel like an impossible task to find one that we completely trusted...but, then we met Brooke! We were extremely lucky and met Brooke at an open-house she was showing. And while the house wasn't quite what we were looking for, we quickly realized we hit the jackpot by meeting Brooke. We asked her a really basic (and probably stupid) question about something in the garage, and she insisted on walking down with us to see it and help us understand what we were looking at. Her answers were so informative and she had such a positive energy. Her knowledge of the entire industry is immense. Throughout our house searching process, she answered every question we had as well as all of the ones we didn't know we had. She provided constant check-in's on how we were feeling, and was extremely responsive/easy to communicate with. She even proactively reached out to our lender, and our lender prides himself on his fantastic preemptive communication. Not only that, but she provides great suggestions on options that fit your criteria. As proof of that, my partner and I would give nicknames to houses we planned on touring each weekend. And with one of the first listings Brooke shared with us after we gave her an in-depth of what we were looking for, we decided to nickname it "Brooke House." And guess which home we were lucky enough to close on? :) It just really felt like she got a good understanding of what we were looking for, and none of her suggestions ever missed the mark. We never felt any pressure from Brooke, and she always focused on our happiness as opposed to pushing us into a timeline. As first-time buyers (her passion to help!) she held our hand through each progressively more intimidating step: - House searching - Putting in offers (she was extremely on point in providing comparable listings) - The whole closing process (including answering yet another dumb question of our's as were signing papers with the notary). - Even after closing, she provided the best recommendations on trusted vendors. I think it says a lot that each of the vendors also speaks incredibly highly of Brooke, and some of them even invite her to their birthday parties. For any first-time buyers (and realistically, buyers in general), we can't recommend Brooke enough. We'd never really given much thought to the gold standard of realtors, but after working with Brooke, we couldn't imagine working with anyone else! read more

Sometimes I see a business or service provider who has nothing but 5-star ratings and think, "This is too good to be true." After working with Brooke, I was impressed by how often I thought, "This is too good to be true." But as I sit here in the living room of my new home that is 100% due to Brooke's thoughtful work, I can attest that she is just as good as the strong reviews suggest. Save yourself some time...you just found your realtor. As a first time home buyer, I entered the real estate market with a great deal of trepidation. I interviewed 5 different realtors to get a sense of who would be the right fit for me. Thankfully I decided to work with Brooke. I found her to be clear, professional, supportive and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to what we wanted and helped us understand where we might want to look more closely. She often anticipated our needs. But the best part of working with her was how she helped us buy the home I'm sitting in now. She emailed us late at night with a posting that was about to go online the following morning. She knew it was EXACTLY what we were looking for. By 11pm she had set up a showing the next day. We were the first people to see the unit and, as it turned out, the only people to see it. She coached us about how to make an offer that would be accepted. We made it that day, and it was accepted that day. She was able to get us this house for list price (when does that happen in the Bay Area), and she skillfully negotiated a very generous credit. She suggested a lender who got us the best interest rate I have ever seen. And the entire time she was friendly, thoughtful and fun. She got us a dream house in record time with near-zero stress. Miracles can happen, as long as Brooke is the project manager. I very strongly recommend you hire Brooke right now. Use the rest of your day to start packing. read more

Brooke is truly incredible! She is incredibly knowledgeable and always explains every step of the buying or selling process in detail (Brooke has represented us as sellers and as buyers!). Brooke is also extremely dedicated and hardworking. She has always been easy to contact and quick to respond, even after standard working hours. My favorite thing about working with Brooke is the heart that she has for our clients. Working with her, you know that she cares about what you want, who you are as people, and making sure that you are happy with your home sale or purchase. If you're looking for a realtor who will care for you as a human being and help you buy or sell the perfect home, it is Brooke! read more

My wife first met Brooke at an open house she was conducting 5 years ago. At the time, we were just looking but not serious shoppers. Still, Brooke stayed in touch with us, sending us listings that might interest us. We had fits and starts with regards to our home search, and in all that time, Brooke was patient and steadfast with us in our dealings. It wasn't until summer 2021 that we were really ready to start the home buying process, and the relationship between Brooke and ourselves had been so well-established that it really felt like she knew most of what we wanted in a home. Still, Brooke took the time to ask us the right questions to make sure she had a clear understanding of what we wanted in a home. All the credit goes to Brooke for nurturing the relationship with us. During our the house tours with Brooke, she took the time to patiently explain to us newbies the ins-and-outs of the home shopping process, from home inspections to making an offer to closing escrow. Additionally, Brooke put us in touch with our mortgage lender, Dominic Villa at Summit Funding, who was fantastic in walking us through the whole mortgage application and approval process. Brooke and Dominic have an excellent working relationship, which proved to be vital in helping alleviate the stress of buying a home; Brooke could just contact Dominic on our behalf whenever she needed information about our mortgage, without having to ask us to contact Summit directly. When we were in the escrow period, Brooke went above and beyond to make sure the seller made the property pristine for when we took ownership. She arranged the property inspection. After a heavy rainfall, she visited the property to make sure there was no damage to the property, and discovered that the staging company had left the patio door open when they had removed the staging furniture. Without this visit, we would have walked into a property with damaged floors. We are so grateful that Brooke did this. We cannot express how fortunate we were to have Brooke in our corner. She is a passionate and effective advocate for her clients. If you are looking to buy a home in the Bay Area, make Brooke your agent. read more

Brooke was an absolute outstanding real estate agent. A friend referred her to me after I already had 3 real estate agents who did not work out for me. She is honest, hard working and dedicated to helping you find the right home. Why Brooke is different from my previous agents is that she listened to what I was looking for & was dedicated to helping me find it. She really had my back during the entire process of buying a home. And her knowledge of the market and professionalism make her a top class agent. Brooke helped with me with few offers until we found the home I live in now. Even in a competitive market, she was able to help me secure the perfect house with a very fair and solid offer just a few days after being listed for sale. If your ready to find your home, Brooke is your agent. Highly recommend, 5 star service. read more

Brooke was amazing to work with and she was extremely thorough and patient. We worked through the holidays and when I saw the condo that I wanted, she wrote the offer the same evening. I highly recommend Brooke read more

Brooke is truly incredible at what she does! From day 1, she helped educate us, make sure that we were comfortable, and fight to get us the best house for our price point. She worked SO tirelessly to help us and we absolutely love our home now. Would work with Brooke again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her if you're looking for a kind, personable, intelligent realtor who will get to know you and be your advocate! read more

Brooke Korkut is the reason we were able to keep our sanity during the house hunting/offer-placing/ back and forth process that is home buying and ultimately the reason we have a fabulous new home today. She worked tirelessly for us. First, when we were still just looking, she called and checked-in once a week just to keep us current. Then she arranged house tours and sent listings that were actually pertinent to our search. When it came time to write offers she was there with us on holidays and late night- whatever it took. Once we were in escrow our saga was not yet over. Available by text, email, and phone she calmed our nerves and got our questions answered each time something new arose. Hard work and amazing availability aside, Brooke helped ensure we were making the best decision we could; attending every vendor/tradesmen appointment and even suggesting great people who have turned out to be just as good in their fields as she is in hers. I have been through the home buying process before and I can honestly say that when you work with Brooke you work with the best. read more

It was a great pleasure working with a hard worker, friendly, happy, extremely professional real estate agent like Brooke. We now feel that Brooke became a part of our family. The moment we first met Brooke, we knew she's going to be our agent. She is very knowledgable about the Bay Area in general and specifically Oakland and the surrounding cities. Even our 2 years old daughter fell in love with her. She is happy to listen to every single word you want to say about your new home and she will keep in mind every single thought/concern you have. She is ready to go the extra mile to help you reach your goals. Although we were looking mostly in Oakland area but we were open to other suggestions since both of us work in Cupertino, Brooke introduced us to the great neighborhoods of Oakland that was around our budget but we were not aware of. She gave us many many home tours without even getting a little tired, she even showed us houses in San Jose and Santa Clara area when we were hesitant and wanted to experience the whole market. She worked days and nights until she found our beautiful house, She is number one in negotiations and she is really great in FOLLOWING UP with you on every single house you'd be even slightly interested in. She was the one who found our beautiful first house, and she made the whole deal very smooth and easy for us as she took care of every single thing in the purchase process. We highly recommend Brooke in helping you finding your dream home. Thank you Brooke for being our friend, family and for helping us being where we are now. read more

When my husband and I started our house hunting process we didn't really know where to begin. We were extremely motivated to buy our first home. We had lived in the city for almost 13 years and renting just wasn't an option anymore. Neither one of us had ever purchased property before. We searched through Zillow and found a few houses we were interested in and clicked the link in hopes the real estate agent selling the property would respond. Within 1 day I had received a phone call from Brooke connecting with us. She was bright, bubbly and we had an instant connection. She wasn't the agent in the corresponding picture to the property on Zillow and now I look back and thank the heavens that she was the agent that responded. (You'll see why soon) We met Brooke after a day of open house tours. I can't really describe how horrible the open house tour option was for us. We encountered 30-40 people moving around the house at the same time and an extremely rude Sellers agent. (Picture of the corresponding agent on Zillow I clicked on!) I don't understand how some of these sellers agents can be so blasé or rude to potential buyers about the houses they represent. We also didn't realize that for most of the houses in the East Bay would be a huge amount of competition and to be even considered we would have to offer well above the asking price. At one open house we arrived 10 minutes after the start and over heard the sellers agent telling someone they already had 19 offers submitted! Brooke was so helpful teaching and navigating us in our first home purchase. One of the amazing things about Brooke is her work ethic. She works hard! She was in constant contact with us every single day. Not just within office hours either. If we had concerns or questions we would email or text her late into the night and get an almost instant response. She would send me lists of houses every single day because she gets to really know her clients. She knew exactly the type of house we were looking for. I feel like we saw her almost every single day for private viewings. Her connections with Mortgage lenders was also outstanding. Attempting to reach out to the banks felt like a dismal task but she put us in contact with a couple of local lenders who were amazing to work with and really helped us securing the best deal. When Brooke mentioned it may take us literally months to find, bid and get accepted for a house I was disheartened. But 6 weeks later we were accepted and now have an amazing house which we call our home. I can not recommend Brooke enough. She is such an amazing person and she will forever be one of dearest people in the world to us. If you want an outstanding real estate who will do whatever she can to get you the best contract than Brooke is it. I will definitely use Brooke's services again if we ever decide to move. The only thing I miss most about the buying process is the daily texting from Brooke. Its kind of strange to go from talking to someone who has become a close important friend to not talking or texting for a while. I do know that Brooke and I will remain close friends always. She one of the most thoughtful and kindest people Ive ever met. Im so grateful she was the agent that picked up the phone to call me. read more

Brooke has been fantastic to work with. She is incredibly detail oriented and knowledgeable. She is trustworthy and will not push you into a sale to get a 'fast' close. She genuinely cares that you get the perfect house that meets your exact needs. I would absolutely reccommend working with her. read more

Brooke was both efficient and effective as an agent. My wife and I were new to the home buying process, and with a one year old and living 45 minutes from Oakland, managing logistics and being efficient were requirements. Brooke broke down the homebuying process, and was very clear about her role, the role of other players, and our next steps at each segment of the process. She was objective in discussing options, clearly presenting the pros and cons of local versus national lenders, neighborhoods, etc. And she was accommodating with scheduling and responsive to our requirements, including price. She clearly understands that it is an educational process, and was patient with us along the way. We did not end up buying a home - our personal situation dictates that we will be moving out of the bay area - but we would definitely recommend Brooke. read more

We found Brooke Korkut on Zillow and I chose her because her picture showed her to have a kind face. Not much to go on, but I am so glad we made that decision. She was wonderful to work with. She responded to me immediately regarding a home we were interested in. Looking back, we were not in a position to look at homes, as we didn't even have a prequalifying letter. We did not yet know about all the steps to buying a home. Yet Brooke called us back promptly and educated us about the home we were looking at and the process. She eventually even helped us find a lender that did not apply mortgage insurance to our loan even though we did not have 20% to put down. Brooke is responsive and knowledgeable. Almost every time we called her she answered the phone. When she could not answer the phone, she immediately texted us to let us know a time frame she would call us back in. The process of buying a home is so emotional and stressful it was comforting to work with someone who was available to us. She understood the level of stress we felt and was apt in comforting us. Brooke probably showed us close to 100 homes in Oakland, Richmond, and San Pablo. She would also direct us to additional homes with open houses to see after our appointments with her. What I personally appreciated about Brooke was that she was open to my obsessive scanning of real estate apps and requests to see specific homes. She has an excellent network of inspection experts. We especially loved the general inspection company and used them a second time. The first home we bid on was lost to a low appraisal. Brooke worked with the sellers and the lender to coordinate an appeal and held a special meeting with us to walk us through the process. It still did not work out, but we felt supported. Actually we found a better home about a month later that we successfully purchased. What struck us about Brooke was that in both properties, we were not the highest bidder, but Brooke's straight forward paperwork and motivation to get a sale though in the short escrow period won us both bids. We feel very lucky to have found her and we are certain that we were able to purchase our current home because of her skills and passion as a real estate agent. I have recommended her to friends who are looking to buy in the future and will continue to recommend her as she is a joy to work with. read more

I have been a buyer and seller of real estate for over 30 years throughout the Bay Area, and had always worked with a very trusted broker in the East Bay. Unfortunately, circumstances didn't allow for our working together again, and I needed to find another agent. Through an amazing stroke of luck, I managed to connect with Brooke Korkut. From the moment I interviewed her, I found her engaging, personable, and clearly committed to her work. I had no doubt she would work hard to find an investment property that met our very specific criteria. Our search lasted over 8 months, and Brooke was there every step of the way. When at last we identified our subject property in the Oakland hills, the real work began: I cannot say enough about how well Brooke Korkut was able to navigate a myriad of problems in what proved to be a most difficult transaction. On more than one occasion, it seemed that our escrow was destined to fall apart: Whether dealing with the vicissitudes of charged real estate market or property appraisal issues or draconian lender restrictions or the complexities of a 1031 exchange, Brooke handled each challenge with professionalism and calm. In the end, I felt that our investment in Brooke Korkut was just as important as the investment in our new property that closed on time, and within our budget. There are many fine real estate agents out there, but the best ones make you feel as though you are their only client in the world. That's how Brooke Korkut will make you feel too. read more
