Excellent work even though their prices are a bit high. Service is also excellent. They always finish faster than predicted.

I do not have a lot of experience getting things framed. When I do, I'm somewhat shocked at the…read moreprice! Everything adds up quickly and I've spent 200 bucks on a frame\glass\matting before. Probably why I don't have too much experience! I have a concert poster from Dead and Company that is very dear to me, it was a great night celebrating my birthday with some good friends. Had another one from the Black Keys this year that also deserved framing. So I stopped into the Framers Market Gallery which happens to be right around the corner from me to get some ideas of what it would cost...I am SOOO happy I did! Aileen(sp?) was working the counter and she is good at her job! So glad I went with her recommendations! The Black Keys one she figured out quickly and I'm very happy with it! She looked longer at the Dead and Co poster and ran a couple ideas past me...I'd never have thought this, but she suggested I use 2 frames!?! A blue one on the inside, to pickup the blue from the poster, and a black one outside, which would match my other artwork. I wasn't sure how it would look when done, but liked the idea, and it was actually cheaper with 2 frames than using matting... Think it took about 2 weeks and I was so happy with them both! The Dead and Co poster just blows me away, I love it! It was also cheaper than my previous framing experiences, so double the recommendation! Thank you Aileen, I'll be back with more!

I was relieved to find this shop only half a mile from my new home. When I walked in, two customers…read morewere finishing up with the woman behind the counter. Another woman stood next to it, so, unsure if she worked there, I asked the lady standing behind the counter for help. I was in a bit of a pickle, I explained, and I asked if they could give me a quote to trim and mount my pastel paper on their board. In the past I was able to order it pre-mounted from my paper supplier, but they discontinued this option when I was midway through illustrating my second book. The woman behind the counter looked a little worried, like she didn't know the answer, like perhaps she was new. As she started to speak the woman next to the counter said flatly, "we only drymount art as part of a framing package, including glass and a frame. What medium is it?" "Well, you see, the art isn't done yet," I explained. "I just need the paper mounted to a stiff surface, so it won't crease or buckle while I paint." "We do not mount art unless you frame it with us as part of a package, she retorted. "It's just paper. I haven't made the art--. Ok. Bye. If they had even just offered to sell me the plain board, unmouted, cut to size, they still would have done me a huge service, and gained a prolific artist as customer. Now, I need 20 pieces framed for an art show. And instead of supporting my local business, I'm gonna have to head to the craft chain store down the pike.

I have used this location for many years, framing over 10 pieces of art. I recently brought in 2…read morepieces to frame. The price I received was unusually high, but I paid the deposit and left the art, being told it would take over one month to frame. My daughter, who was with me, then received a phone call stating that we were undercharged $200 because the owner, who helped us, "forgot" to add in the stretching price. I told her that wasn't good customer service and was told me that "this is COVID" and her business is struggling, which led me to believe that we were being taken advantage of. All of us are struggling with COVID. Needless to say, I will be picking up my artwork and taking it elsewhere. They have lost my business due to their shady business practices. Be wary!

Solid Michaels in a shopping center, usually good deals and some fun craft events. I order from…read moretheir website and usually have it ready to pick up instantly. I like their variety of items and if you wait for sales to get vouchers it's an excellent place for decor and projects. I was disappointed that the last time I picked up an item I kept getting messaged for 3 days saying I hadn't picked it up yet. I hope that glitch gets fixed. The items were perfect and very much enjoyed though!

There's lots of the thick chenille-like Baby Blanket Yarn and yarn cakes , but not much to make some pretty baby jackets or Christening sets. I want some nice Bernat yarn or some of the Lion Brand varieties that were carried by JoAnn's and AC Moore. For my needs, Michaels is just not the place to go for a variety of brands of yarn. Also, they need to do a better job of conveying that ALL clearance items are not returnable. I didn't see anything posted, and the receipt doesn't say non-returnable. The sales associate did not know where the policy was posted. Even the "manager" had to look it up, which involved crouching down in front of the counter and reading the entire return policy before she could find that it addressed clearance items. The last line of the policy stated that clearance items were not returnable. The print was about 1/8 inch high. It's unrealistic to think that anyone would be able to read the policy as it is currently posted. The "manager" absurdly stated that I could look at the bottom of the receipt or on their website. Hmm, doesn't that happen after purchase? The signs over the merchandise say "Clearance - lowest prices of the season" but they do not state that the merchandise is not returnable. Maybe they will do a better job of posting the policy so that customers know they can't return clearance items. Surprisingly, the "manager" was willing to let a 40-year customer walk away from all future purchases for less than $20. I did call customer service and they issued me a gift card, but it still doesn't resolve the issue for the next customer. This is the first negative review I have EVER posted. It's never right to turn your back and walk away from a customer.
