I used to rave about these guys. One integrated company, it was seriously on top of its game. They under-promised, and over-delivered.
Then they were bought out by FPL, Florida Power & Light. Since then, I have seen most of my great techs leave, jobs that I've done with them have gone from a few days to weeks. Nothing is simple. My electrical box upgrade was failed twice by the inspectors, before finally getting approved. That meant a couple of nights in a hotel, because it was 90°F+ in the house without power.
More importantly, the ability to bring all of these services to you from one unified company should make them a no-brainer. It's anything but. I had to put in an upgraded electrical system, a tankless water heater, and an A/C split for a former garage space being turned into a workshop. All of that should have been coordinated. What happened?
* The A/C split was stuck in first. Of course, there was no power available to make it work, because the sub-panel needed to be overhauled first, but was stuck in permitting. So it went in, and sat.
* The tankless water heater was put in. I ordered a Rinnai that had no recirc pump because the plumbing rep from Jupter Tequesta told me that the house wasn't on recirculating, even though, apparently, there was a recirculating pump installed already. So that didn't begin well. The new tankless needed a different electrical connection than the old tank unit. The closest wall plug was not working. They used an extension cord to the next nearest, and told me that the electricians would have to come out and make repairs on the proper one next to the unit.
* The electricians did not come out for three more weeks. When they did come out, they sent one guy to do a major overhaul of a 1952 power system on a 1925 house. The "clean up" that was going to take six hours, as promised, took six days, and two inspections. It took three weeks to finally get them into the sub-panels, and more than two months after the water heater was installed to get it wired correctly. The wiring was fixed days before the 2019 hurricane.
* The day after the hurricane, a West Palm Beach city inspector shows up. Apparently Jupiter-Tequesta had opened a permit to install the water heater, but never contacted the city to tell them that we were having issues that needed delay. He came in unhappy, cited the ventilation system, which was grafted on from the old one, as inadequate, FINED ME, and left.
I was so fed up that I called and got their FPL supervisor. Then all three department heads appeared on my doorstep, with him. We at least had some level of coordination.
* This launched a three week comedy of errors between the city, and Jupiter Tequesta's plumbing, in the installation of the ventilation system. Try #2 caused heat build up, which caused my unit to shut down, so I was without hot water for a couple of days. Then they came out, re-vented the whole thing, and it finally worked. Jupiter did, I think, pick up the fine. Or, at least, I have not heard from the city to collect on it.
* The electrician finally finished my new master box, so water wasn't coming into it, and the connections in conduit met the inspector's fail tag.
* The A/C split did not work, once the box was upgraded by electrical. Bad condenser unit. The whole part in the back had to be replaced. About a 72 hour further delay.
Most of this could have been avoided through good internal communication. There is none.
Currently, my pool water heater went out. There is a tankless unit that can be installed pretty easily on the wall, and plumbed. There were some power considerations, with its draw, though. The head of Jupiter Tequesta electric came out, after hours, thank you, to look at it, in early December. He brought back the plumbing chief, too, so we could get a plan of action. This seemed promising. They told me to turn on a dormant meter on my guest/garage building. Fine. Done in three hours. I called, to find out what the plan was.
And I called
And I called
And I wrote the FPL guy
And I called.
By the last call, we were a few days from Christmas. The head of electrical was gone. I got no return calls.
Oh, and I had a bathtub, for plumbing, during this time, with some cracked part that needed replaced. The plumber forgot to order it. Did I hear anything back, with my Platinum service contract, either before that holiday, or anywhere up to New Year's Day?

From best to worst, in one year. Good going, Florida, Power & Light. You took one of the best providers in the area, and wrecked it.
I am not renewing my service contracts with them. I am not giving them any new business. A planned generator will be going somewhere else. I am done with the mushroom theory of customer service management. read more
