These guys really want everyone to get out on the water. Green Bay Sail & Paddle is a nonprofit…read moreorganization that offers opportunities to sail and kayak, no matter your level of experience or ability. They have adaptive sailing classes, kayaking classes for people with autism, sailing options designed just for women, and even camps for kids. On the weekends, the rent out kayaks and sail boats in two-hour time periods. I got to go out on Green Bay with one of the junior sailors (he was in 11th grade, but a great sailor!) We took out a four-person catamaran, and glided through the gentle bay. I was a little nervous at first because water activities aren't really my thing, but they make everyone wear a life vest and explain everything beforehand. Once I was out on the water, I felt perfectly safe and it was a fun experience. Pro tip: You will get wet while sailing! I don't know what I was thinking and wore long linen pants, and they were drenched by the end of my excursion. I suggest wearing shorts or bringing a waterproof poncho. Also: There are no proper restroom facilities, just a port-a-potty, so keep that in mind when planning your day. Everyone at Green Bay Sail & Paddle were extremely kind and patient. Sailing on a catamaran was a fun way to see a different side of Green Bay!

He called back in the evening and we missed his call. After a couple of phone tags, we connected. We were looking for a flight today, as we'd tried unsuccessfully to secure a boat tour (off season) & today was our last day here. Despite being out in the field hunting - on a much needed day off - he came in to take us up. We opted for an hour tour. The least we could do to make it worth him coming in. We were greeted in the parking lot by a gentleman that knew exactly why we were there and he spoke very highly of the tour and suggested we request the exciting takeoff. Turns out it's a top gun takeoff, complete with theme music. Dave went right into banter with our 20yr old son. He found out it was my husband's birthday and played Happy Birthday on take off. The flight itself was fantastic. Dave was personable and engaged. He made sure to circle around so that each of us could see. Our son got to take the controls, which he noted made him more nervous than skydiving! During the flight, we saw a ton of shipwrecks, islands, lakes, bays, 300 miles of shoreline & a turkey! It's seldom that you come across something the entire family enjoys. We all LOVED this one. Bonus Point: On our way out, the hubs was presented with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate his birthday. The best flight-seeing tour we've ever had. It topped our in flight Alaska tours. If I could rate it a 10, I would!

What a great way to see Door County. Absolutely breathtaking. Dave's plane is well taken care of…read moreand he went out of his way to make my trepidatious brother comfortable throughout the flight. We saw several shipwrecks, islands and lighthouses up and down the shoreline. Highly recommend taking a tour and will definitely be flying with Dave again.
