With so many hot dog stands in Tucson themed towards Sonoran style these guys were a breath of fresh air with what they offer. Right away I could tell they were gonna be something different by their setup which shows the colors of the wildcats and the American flag. Something I never see other carts do in these parts.
Being from the Jersey area I was shocked to see a Coney dog on a food cart in this part of the world and their sauce (their own recipe) reminded me of home. It's kind if sweet, but they do offer that spicy red sauce the you can put on it.
They also offer a Chicago dog with that bright green relish that I've only seen at one other place in this town. They still offer the Sonoran dog of course but they chop their bacon from what I saw instead of wrapping it.
They are also very friendly and down to earth guys, when I found then they were parked near the sears call center by the swap meet, if you see them give them a try. read more
