I have visited this cozy pub and restaurant many times during the evenings. The menu and particularly the delightful daily specials offer the best of English cuisine using local farm/fishing produce and served in generous portions. the main meals are between £9-£14. A big thumbs up to the roasted belly pork. The traditional puddings/deserts are all home made and for those of you who remember school dinners in Kent, gypsy tart has been on the specials. Also the pub serves a variety of interesting real ales and ciders. I would say the Foxhound would appeal to friends and grown up families in the evening. Its just outside the suburbs of Plymouth on the A379 Kingsbridge Road. There is only a small car park but cars can also park along the road. read more
