Today I asked about an online price I'd seen from one of the big retailers on something I am considering purchasing down the road. He said he couldn't match it, but explained to me why. He wasn't rude or mad because of the question I asked. That really says a lot. My heart always says to buy local, but sometimes my budget overrides that decision. When it comes time to make that purchase down the road I'll talk to him again. If I can figure out how to meet in the middle between the gun, an optic, magazines, and ammunition I'd rather buy it from JT's. The shop itself is small. If they're busy it can get crowded and it's sometimes hard to avoid being muzzle swept by other customers. The staff is great about safety-checking everything so as long as the gun has comes across the counter from them I haven't been too concerned. Happened to me today with a customer looking at 1911s. They have plenty of inventory...new and used. A lot of guns you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the metro. Great prices. They're a family owned shop and they are all very knowledgeable.
