My dog was very ill and not feeling well, and I took her in and it the had pyometra, which is a very serious life-threatening infection. I was very fortunate that they took her right back to surgery. The surgery went very well and they literally saved her life. I also had a prior experience with a pregnant dog they did a C section on and saved her life and the life of the single puppy she had. It is wonderful they are willing to do immediate surgery when required. read more

Not a good place, emergency service not available in need! Rude and non-caring in case of emergency! Been a customer for 15 years and turned me down in an emergency situation for my dog! Last time I had service there a few months ago the vet told me to contact them if have any issues show up after she had major surgery from being almost chewed in half by a border line collie. Now she has issues for bowls where she had surgery, and I called for help and they told me to go elsewhere a lot further away! Never had this problem all these years and now turned me away! If my dog dies now, they will hear from me! No recommendations here! read more

Took my dog there last year for dental issues and shots. Got an antibiotic and paid close to $200. It was less than a year ago. Called to make an appointment for a new dog I got and the office manager was very rude. Kept saying I was not a client because I didn't have an exam within the last year. Guess they just changed close to $200 for just a rabies vaccine because I thought the medicine they gave my dog was less than $20 according to the bill. The manager spoke for 10 minutes and never told me any prices although I asked numerous times and when I started to get upset and told her I needed the prices she said she was going to hang up because I was getting upset and that I wouldn't let her talk. My fiancé, who heard the whole thing because it was on speaker phone, said all she did was talk. She just wouldn't answer my questions. read more

I would like to say that this morning I was in desperate need of a vet and our vet was closed for the week. I called 5 different local vet offices and all declined to help even knowing it would probably cost a dog their life. In a last ditch effort, I contacted this office, and I cannot even begin to tell what a fabulous, caring and wonderful office this is. I feel so blessed that I contacted them, and they set me up to come in about 60 or 70 minutes later. Everyone there was so helpful, friendly and caring. This Vet office came recommended by some of my farm FB acquaintances so I made an appt with THE DAUGHTER KAT Ruzkins to come out to my local farm business to see BOTH my horses and my herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. I told the office that she would be seeing 4 horses and about 20 goats that day. Kat arrived at my farm (mind you this was a first time visit with this Vet). As I was explaining all I needed to get done that early afternoon Kat quickly CUT ME OFF while I was talking!....I was offended but sloughed it off as no big deal and I let her speak. She proceeded to tell me that she was in a hurry because she had "mare's to breed" that day so we would need to hurry and cut my farm visit short. Well....at THIS point I was unimpressed to say the least and offended. I had MADE an appt AT my farm where I run a Business and I REALLY needed several things done. She rushed through my horses vaccines and cleaned my geldings sheath (he STILL has a hard lump on one side and she could not give me ANY clues as to what it might be or how-to treat it at all)....she did get a couple of good size beans out though but IMO she did not finish the job. She was very rushed, short with me to the point of rude and to top it all off she refused to even LOOK at my goat herd!! I have several goats that I REALLY needed looked at. One has a terrible cough, I needed fecals done asap on several, one was loosing hair and I know they need to be treated for lice and possible mites but she REFUSED to even take a quick peak!! There were a few other things I needed done but the visit lasted less than 30 mins...i guess breeding mare's is MORE IMPORTANT than taking care of a customer WITH a farm visit scheduled?? I am still quite upset. THEN when I called the office to explain I wanted a free farm visit next time she came out due to what happened KAT AND HER WHOLE STAFF told me that I was being "difficult" and that I needed to go find another large animal Vet!!! Can you believe that!?!?!? So I guess it is MY fault she over booked herself?? I had told her office how much I needed done. I should have been scheduled for a day when she could actually DO HER JOB......I am totally unhappy with their service. Her office staff will blame the customer if you complain about ANYTHING. Then you will be removed as a customer....unbelievable. Completely unprofessional and disgusting if you ask me. I told them I did not want to find another large animal Vet because they are the closest bit apparently the customer has no say at THIS establishment. It had been 2 mos and my goats STILL have not been able to be seen. I am so irritated and in disbelief that even the STAFF stuck up for her after she was VERY unprofessional with me. I was a new customer....maybe people get treated better if they have used their svcs before...which I will NEVER do and....lol....apparently I cannot anyways. JUST because I called and told them I was a little frustrated and offended that she just cut me off and said "NOPE....I do not have time for all that today" and apparently breeding someone's mare's takes precedence over MY APPT....what is up with that!??? I could not BELIEVE her staff said I WAS BEING DIFFICULT and Kat cannot handle any customer's that have complaints due to her PTSD!!! I have PTSD but I STILL have to do MY DAMN JOB....unbelievable. Absolutely abhorrent services and her staff will just allow her to get away with apparently anything! There is no accountability at this office. Very sad because I have a lot of animals and this could have been a profitable customer for the business. I would look elsewhere if I were you or maybe try her Father before he retires....I HEAR he is decent but IDK. As for me, I would never use them again. Pretty bad when client is told SHE is wrong but the Dr can get away with ANYTHING and whine to Daddy to get out of trouble. They did give a full refund BUT that is NOT what I wanted and I made that very very clear to more than one person. I got no apology. read more

Waited for an hour past our first appointment and still had not been seen and the place only had one other animal with at least 7 people working. Place also smelled like urine. The receptions ignored us while she spent several minutes saying I love you to someone that obviously wad not calling about business. Overall just an unpleasant experience. read more
