AWFUL. and I am horrified that brides from 2011 are giving him 4 and 5 star reviews, considering he…read moreNEVER DELIVERED on many contracts from 2010 to this day. It is extremely amusing to me he has time to tape other weddings, yet not edit weddings of brides who have already paid him and have been waiting since last summer!! I was married in June of 2010. I never ever ever received any edited videos whatesoever. I had to end up begging him to simply send my raw footage over 13 months after we got married - which, as you can imagine, is extremely difficult to view because it is in many files, shakey, etc. I am now going to have to pay (again!) someone else to try to make a normal video out of my raw footage. He promised me everything by Christmas 2010....we finally got raw footage in July 2011. Jeff completely began to ignore my phone calls, emails and text messages around November of 2010. To this day, I have not heard from him since November beside receiving our raw footage in the mail a few weeks ago. Don't kid yourself - he has done this things similar to this to over TWENTY other couples.(READ THE FILTERED REVIEWS BELOW!!) He will lie to you, make false promises of delivery, etc. and then suddenly completely ignore you. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, being incredibly patient for 6 months even though my contract said I wuold have my videos 6 weeks after the wedding. After I realized he was scamming me (and he realized I was no longer naive), I wrote and called dozens of times BEGGING, even offering to PAY MORE, just to get my footage. I don't believe that these other reviews are totally independent people - I think they know him through family or friends. DO NOT TRUST YOUR WEDDING TO THIS GUY. Huge huge regret. I wish I could go back and not hire him!!

He showed up at the wedding on time and stayed the entire day. After the wedding, however, he refused to communicate with me. He avoided me in every way possible. He did not return phone messages or emails and did not answer his phone or respond to facebook messages. I took him to court. He did not show up! I finally received my videos in March 2011 after contacting his wife. The end product was not what I expected. His recording was shaky and his coverage incomplete. He didn't even catch my wedding party walking down the aisle! This was a very stressful situation and I cannot believe that anyone would even consider hiring him after all the postings on the knot.com. Sadly he has done this to at least 10 other couples many of which are still waiting for their videos even after their first anniversary. This guy is arrogant, insensitive, and he is a liar. If you are considering hiring him, please take my advice and don't do it! You'll be waiting for your videos like the rest of us! You're crazy if you do! If I could give him 0 stars I could. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

I visited their office in Northbrook and was shown to their super cool movie theater room. There Jeff explained the many options for videography and had so many video examples to show. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level. Jeff showed one example of an art themed bat-mitzvah where the young artist basically walked thru one of her paintings into a gallery of all of her art. I was sold and came home brainstorming many ideas for what we can do for my daughter's montage in a few years. Xpress was the only video production company I looked at and I immediately decided they were the one. Between our initial meeting, the Yelp reviews & glowing review from our planner I think they'd be tough to top!

Words can't describe how thankful we are for 312 Films. Our wedding video is beyond stunning..it's something we'll cherish forever. You can feel the heart, care, and creativity that went into every single frame. These memories are truly priceless, and because of your team, we get to relive them for the rest of our lives. You gave us the greatest gift of being able to relive the day over and over again, and we'll never stop being grateful. Your work is pure magic, and we feel so lucky that you were the ones to capture our day.

312Film is the best choice for your wedding video, period! Anna and Artem run 312Film- they are an…read moreextremely talented husband and wife team who personally film your day, edit the video, and deliver your final product. They are prompt and responsive so you don't need to keep emailing them to reach out or remind them of things. They pay attention during your meetings so you don't end up repeating yourself- they understand exactly what you're looking for/what kind of couple you are/what you'll end up caring about and then make a super individualized video for you. They gave the perfect amount of direction to us throughout the day, so my husband and I look natural- not awkward or forced- but we have all of the gorgeous romantic/epic moments you'd want in a wedding video. Anna is SUPER creative so she had me do little things for the camera that came out GORGEOUS (ex: she had me walk down the hallway and open the double doors to my bridal suite and I look like a QUEEN in that shot). They even split up- so Anna filmed my morning, while Artem filmed my husband's morning-before coming together for the 1st look and rest of the day's events and the film product ended up so cohesive with such an epic style. I think because they're two married artists, they have a deep, almost telepathic understanding of what will work so Anna and Artem would be filming us without having to talk to one another and interrupt/ruin a candid shot as it was unfolding or make us reenact things. These 2 can communicate just by looking at each other so they were able to capture us genuinely laughing or talking and those little natural soundbite pearls made the video extra special for us. Anna and Artem are such pleasant, loving, genuinely empathetic people that made a stressful day feel safe and relaxed. They have such a wonderful disposition and energy. I spent over 12 hours with them and never one time felt irritated, even during moments of stress (which you will inevitably have on your wedding day!). Lastly- Anna and Artem worked super well with my 2 photographers- which I didn't realize would be so important! 312Film would create a situation or give us direction on something to do and it gave our photographers some of their best shots/our favorite pictures. If you're shopping around- just take my advice and hire 312Film. You will not regret it. They are worth every penny and I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

No I talked to him on the phone before our appointment for 20 minutes and never felt rushed. He's patient, but more importantly, very pragmatic and articulate. He is a true educator. He could identify issues in my playing literally in seconds, he can explain things in different ways, and demonstrate them. I am that guy who just plays 2 riffs he's comfortable with over and over, and then won't pick up my guitar for a month. Im 2 lessons in, and Justin has given me a path forward. I can see myself improve, I actually want to play. He's got a chill attitude. I think he also has a good sense for pushing your limits, but not so much as to be frustrating or stressful. It's actually FUN. 11/10

My past guitar teachers seemed either impatient or bland with their lessons. I was learning chords from them and simple songs but I was easily bored. With Justin, he educated me on modes and economy picking, which set me off to a great start. I actually looked forward to our lesson even though he was an hour drive away from my house. In addition, he is full of knowledge with the metal world and would educate me on where certain riffs came from or the history of death metal. I think it's important to understand the history of the music you're passionate about and he certainly helped me become more knowledgeable about the music I love. He's incredibly patient and every time we had a lesson, I would feel more comfortable playing in front of him (I have stage fright). He truly loves teaching and I'm happy I found him. You won't be disappointed. Take lessons from him and you'll fall in love with guitar in no time.
