I rented a trailer and when I found out it won't fit my motorcycle I returned it within the hour ,…read morethe guy told me just to go to another u haul place and when I asked to be refunded, he said he can't do it from his office and to just call U-HAUL to get a refund. So I went to another one and got the trailer that fits. I called UHAUL to ask for a refund and first the lady said the guy could have just done a reverse charge to get my money but as it is, I cannot get a refund because I took the trailer out of the lot. You would think a big company like U-Haul could afford to refund thirty something dollars for something that wasn't even used and I still went to them to spend more money to get another trailer on the same day. Just bad business practice over all. So beware of U-Haul and this business.

My project was to put down river rock alongside the road to eliminate unsightly weeds. I prepared…read morethe area with a weed barrier and then began the search for a good rock material. I found Bay Area and contacted them and informed the sales rep that I needed 83 cubic feet of material (in which case calculated to 3 cubic yards). She corrected me and said 1 yard would do it. I paid for materials + $85 island delivery charge. Upon the delivery date I found that I was short approximately 2 yards of material. I called Bay Area back to reorder the 2 yards and the rep told me an additional delivery charge would be tacked on the material cost. After a lengthy discussion, no correction of delivery charge was made. Also, the lady kept stating square feet, square feet... It's, CUBIC feet, it's not the same! Not very happy right now...

Small location but a great selection of happy plants. Mostly larger sizes, 1 gallon seems to be…read morethey're smallest with 3 gallons the average. The entrance & location is at the far right hand side of the shopping center. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. The aisles between the plants are narrow so not accessible for everyone. But the employees are helpful so I would think that they would get what you're looking for and bring it to the front for you to look at it.

Padre Palms was by far NOT my cheapest option, but I received a good referral for them, so I opted…read moreto pay up to use the 'good guys.' The positive referral was WAY OFF, so I felt obligated to write this review to warn any future customers. If you want to spend A LOT OF MONEY to get cussed out and hung up on, this is the guy. Otherwise, please, use anyone else! Jerry, the owner of this business, scheduled his 'crew' to plant two palms at my house on Friday morning 8/18. His crew didn't show up that morning and he texted me to let me know he had me re-scheduled for the following Friday. I explained that, due to my busy schedule, that wouldn't work, so he begrudgingly dispatched his crew as promised. They were in a huge hurry and did a very sloppy job, making a huge mess out of my yard. I didn't make a big deal out of it, but when I merely mentioned it to Jerry when he called for payment, he cussed me out, called me an 'ungrateful bastard,' and hung up on me. It's amazing how people like this manage to stay in business for themselves.
