I have lived in Fox Ridge Apartments for over two years and love it here. My apartment is exactly what I want with all the amenities I need and none that I don't. The building I live in is in a quiet area away from traffic and I feel secure, which is important to me as an older single person. Management and maintenance staff are responsive, helpful, and friendly, grounds are well-kept and landscaped, and the complex is clean. I was able to add a garage just steps from my apartment which is useful for storage as well as for keeping me from having to deal with snow and ice removal in the winter. When I first met the leasing rep, Paige Schuckman, I made it VERY CLEAR to her I wanted quiet surroundings; no closeness to a noisy street. The unit available was right on Renaissance Street. I expressed concern. She assured me, "Oh, it's a really quiet street, it's mostly residential." She lied her head off. That street was incredibly noisy. All day long, trucks went down it. Furthermore, there was traffic all the time. I couldn't count to 30 without a car going by. The building has poor soundproofing, so all throughout the day (I work from home) I'd hear the "WHOOOSHHHHHH!" of cars going by. Paige also FAILED TO INFORM ME of the deep fissure cracks every 50 ft. on Rennaisance. Every time a vehicle heavier than an SUV went over them (which was frequent -- all sorts of trucks with flatbeds, UPS, Amazon, etc.), I'd hear loud rattling of metal. All throughout the day. I don't believe for a second Paige wasn't aware of the noise. Maybe this didn't bother other people, but that's beside the point, because I made it VERY CLEAR how important a quiet ambience was to me. But Paige was so eager to fill the unit to get her commission. She SHOULD HAVE warned me about Rennaisance and suggested I wait for a unit deeper into the property to open up. Call me hypersensitive to noise, but that doesn't excuse Paige for LYING. Furthermore, Fox Ridge Apartments says it's smoke-free. Only after I moved in (she would't let me go inside the unit before I signed the lease), did I realize the place stunk of smoke. I insisted it was coming from below me, and Paige kept denying this possibility because my wall neighbors said it was from below THEM. The wall neighbors complained only AFTER I complained to Paige, who then had a note posted on all the doors about the complaint. I learned that there'd been previous complaints about the smoker, yet he was still living there!!! By coincidence he moved out soon after, but I continued smelling the smoke. I kept telling Paige it was coming from BELOW me. Finally they decided to check the unit and discovered incense materials. The lease very strongly implies that this is a violation, yet Paige and manager Lisa Tate kept delaying pursuing it, giving the excuse they had to consult with their lawyer. But finally they took the matter seriously. It took FIVE MONTHS of me complaining to get to this point. FIVE MONTHS. Paige had even suggested that maybe I was smelling their cooking; that's how much she refused to believe a tenant. Like, what kind of cooking smells like an ashtray? If you're a nonsmoker and move to Fox Ridge Apartments, and your neighbor is smoking, you may wait FIVE MONTHS to get some action taken. Another source of noise is garbage trucks up to THREE TIMES A WEEK emptying Dumpsters that are nearly empty!! What a waste of money; that's why rent is high there. PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE. No assigned parking, and too few spaces. I often HAD DTO PARK IN THE STREET!!! Guests are allowed to park smack in front of buildings while tenants are forced in the street or to take parking several buildings from theirs. The gate near my building didn't work for many tenants. That's another thing Paige failed to tell me: frequent noise from the opening and closing of the gates, which were right outside my unit. All day long I'd hear the humming and then metal clanging. Though this may not bother everyone, that's besidei the point because, again, I TOLD PAIGE VERY SUCCINCTLY I WANTED QUIET AMBIENCE, and she bloody outright lied and said Building 9 was in a quiet area. Never mentioned the gates; LIAR. Because the gate malfunctioned for so many tenants' keypad code, I'd be hearing all day and evening idling engines, as people struggled at the keypad to open the gate. I could clearly see this from a window. Another issue: I put in four repair requests for items that were in disrepair at the time of move-in. Nobody ever came by, yet I received email conformation that someone came by and fixed the issues. NO, NOBODY CAME BY. I worked from home, unless they were the Invisible Man. But nothing was fixed, either. What a messed-up system at Fox Ridge Apartments: Phantom emails claiming the Inivisible Man was over and fixed repairs. NO INSULATION in walls; I could hear neighbors TALKING. Another review here says the walls are well-insulated and you can't hear neighbors. Either that person had significant wax buildup in her ears, or her neighbors never spoke, giggled or listened to music. Trust me, YOU WILL HEAR EVERYTHING. Don't rent at Fox Ridge Apartments. You will NOT get what you pay for, and if you don't mind noisiness, then you'll certainly cringe at the lack of parking spaces. read more

I will start with this I really love the apartment I'm in and the community here. There is one thing that has upset my wife and I a lot after we moved in. We chose this place because it is gated and a "crime free" zone. We have live here around 7 months or so, within that 7 months our cars have been broken into 3 times and each time the office has been notified. They just simply say you signed the lease we aren't responsible. We don't have cameras I'm sorry. On July 6th my entire vehicle was stolen and the office was like " weren't you that kid that didn't pay your bill and it got repoed." I purchased the vehicle and paid cash the night before. Then they said did you give someone your other key? (While smiling at me like I was annoying her. As for my neighbors another gentleman had his car broken into and stuff stolen from it, another lady in the complex had a bunch of tools stolen and the list goes on. The complex hasn't done anything about this problem and aren't trying to fix this issue going on. The last three nights a lot of activity has happened the gates weren't even closed!! I do not recommend you moving in here unless you don't have a car or expensive things. The amount of stuff stolen from has equaled way more than my rent. read more

I have lived here for a little over 8 months and it has been perfect for me. The apartments are well taken care of, affordable for the area, safe, and in a quiet neighborhood. Management is kind, personable, and trusting. I've never felt ripped off or not taken seriously. I've lived in nice places with terrible management and this is not one of those places. The amenities are wonderful too. I'd highly recommend these apartments for any young professional such as myself. read more

This is the worst experience I have had as a tenant, slumlords do better than Fox Ridge. Fox Ridge Apartments is gated community in Longmont. My positives about this community are: - Dog friendly with lots of open spaces to walk and pick up stations - Gated community - Office is open 7 days a week - Online bill payment available However, the negatives all center around management and maintenance. The first apartment they tried to get us into had water damage and a dead bird on the porch when we toured. Not even kidding. We declined and chose a different apartment. When we moved in: there was damage on all of the door knobs in the house. It looked as if someone had taken a screwdriver or butter knife to the knobs in some frantic attempt to open them. The vents in the living room were duct taped shut by the previous tenants with no attempt to clean or replace them. The bathroom sink faucet was installed incorrectly, resulting in it spraying water all over the counter any time it was used. They corrected some of these issues, the sink and the doorknobs mostly, but how do you miss such obvious issues? Then, a very short time after moving in, the dishwasher stops draining at the end of the cycle. I got into the dishwasher, removed the screen, and cleaned it like maintenance instructed me to do. A very tiny amount of food residue was on it. I scrubbed it with a toothbrush and soaked it in cleaning solution until I was satisfied that there was no way it could clog. It still wouldn't drain. I put in a ticket and waited three weeks. Nobody came. I scooped the water out with a measuring cup, cleaned the inside of the washer, and fixed it again myself. I was tired of waiting and doing dishes by hand. It broke again a month later. Maintenance came and the man said it is "brand new" but if it breaks again, it's cheaper to just replace it. Then, it broke again...and I waited for two weeks again. They showed up while I was working from home, and they forgot to set up a window of time that would work for me. I had to send them away as I can't supervise strangers in my apartment while containing the dog AND working at the same time. They got very rude with me and said "this is a brand new washer". I got on the Home Depot website to pull up the dishwasher by the model number and see that this is a common issue with this model. I'm tired of doing dishes by hand about 5 months into this lease, so I call the office asking to speak with the manager, Lisa, whom I've spoken with before. Sadie answers the phone and informs me that Lisa is on vacation and will call me back next week (that week has come and gone). I try to discuss this with Sadie and tell her I'm dissatisfied and would like a credit on my rent for this defective dishwasher and the fact I gave them times to come by and they completely ignored that. I work from home entirely and I cannot be interrupted when I'm busy on conference calls all the time. Sadie informs me that no, she won't schedule a window with maintenance. I tell her I want Lisa to call me. She says "Well, Lisa can call you but she'll tell you the exact same thing!" with an attitude. I normally let things go and I have for the last 5 months, I have been in a grin and bear it situation. I will not stand for this any longer. This place has shady staff with bad attitudes, is highly overpriced, and I would NEVER recommend moving here. They have vacancies for a reason. Update: a note in very large print was left on my door in front of my neighbors stating they will not renew our lease. None of our issues were addressed. Needless to say, I wouldn't renew here ever. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. This is practically Comcast level customer service. read more

We had a worst experience being in Fox Ridge in Longmont, They don't explain much about the facilities provided before hand, especially if you are signing with them remotely. We had tough time moving here from different state, they don't provide washer Drier, and will never mention what they provide or not provide before hand, which is frustrating. The Leasing office people have just eyes on the monthly pay and the extra charges they make out from tenants. The Apartment is way old and they don't maintain it well. Personally I wont prefer to suggest anyone I know to take this apartment. I never give this bad comments to any, its totally out of worry and suffering we have had I am giving this feedback, if it benefits others. read more

I needed a short term lease while I transitioned into a new job and looked for a nearby home. I was lucky they had a newly remodeled apartment available that was well suited for me and my kids. It was beautifully done with granite, nice carpeting, new appliances and fresh paint of course. The ladies in the main office were great at keeping me informed and working with me to fit my schedule and at reasonable price since it was a short term lease. It worked out great for the time I was there and it felt safe for my kids since it is gated. I just wanted to say thanks! read more

We've lived here for two years now and the place has gone downhill. Maintenance takes forever to come help you (if they ever come out to help at all.) Lawn mowing starts unapologetically at 7am. Blowers and all. Walls are thin and the carpet, appliances, and doors are so cheap. If you work from home you can't live here. The noise is unreal. In addition to the noise and the cheap apartments, their handling of Covid19 has been an absolute disgrace. We received paperwork saying we had not rights' and the office closed abruptly without warning. Contacting them for help is impossible so you can forget receiving packing makes or getting larger mail. We can't wait to move. Don't even bother checking this place out! read more

As a tenant, this seemed to be a great place to live for my fiancee. When you move out on the other hand, it's a nightmare. Their lease break ends up costing more than rent, if you choose to pay them to try to fill the apartment "to save you money." The apartment complex did not even market the apartment as available until his original lease was up, ensuring his paying the extra fee was useless. Luckily we thought we were done with it in May 2017. There was a mixup with our wedding registry recently, so 3 gifts were mailed to the old address. My fiancee went to pick the first package up and they had no problem locating it. We got a delivery notification later that day that another had been delivered; we called them immediately and they confirmed they had set his package aside, available for pickup at any time. When he went to pick that one up and the third, they said they couldn't find it. After 4 visits and unanswered emails including the exact delivery info, we went back one last time. Today we were told that they were not liable for packages, even though they signed for them (which implies release of liability from UPS). I brought this point up and the fact that we now will miss thanking the people who sent us gifts as we are now in the dark on 2 of them, their response "we did get your emails, and I'm sorry but they are lost." They couldn't even bother responding to an email! I would hope anyone considering renting here would re-evaluate, there are nicer places in Longmont with cheaper rates, that may actually care about your property. Maybe if they miraculously find our packages, I'll remove this review; hoping that someone cares enough at the complex to contact us! read more

You won't find a better place to live than Fox Ridge. The spacious apartment homes in this gated community in a quiet part of Longmont are well-insulated so you don't hear any noise from your neighbors; there's 24/7 maintenance, central air, room for your own washer/dryer, a swimming pool and gym. The apts. are also wheelchair accessible in case you're handicapped, and the staff is terrific. I wouldn't live ANYWHERE else!!! read more

Was naive and did not pay attention to the small letters, so dont forget that you only have 72 hours to decide if you will move there or not, and it does not matter if it is a weekend. Not only overpriced but overgreedy as well. The only thing that is excpetionally designed are the applications fees, everything else is avarage at most. Have a second look before renting there, you can find much better places on a much more fair price. read more
