This should be a warning ‼ to anyone who has interest in living here. I have never dealt with more inconsiderate and downright despicable people in management than the people that run this place, that's right, I'm talking about you Millisa. A bit ago the state required that they put up handicap signs for every row but the complex was too cheap to actually put up any signs or paint or literally anything to tell someone that it's a handicapped spot and so one day when I woke up, I saw that my car was about to get towed because it was in the 'handicapped' spot. I was literally a hair away from getting my car towed even though I LIVED here! When I tried to talk to management about it, they blamed me and gave me flack for parking there and said that it was all my fault. They also had a MAJOR GAS LEAK on the premises about a year ago and they tried to keep it a secret because they didn't want to get in trouble, but the fire department ended up finding out and was thankful to whoever called it in as it could have been fatal to some people, even though maintenance already knew about it and WILLINGLY didn't report it. Living here was honestly like having another job with another boss as these people are so upright that last summer they banned anyone from even having a kiddie pool as they wanted everyone to get their ridiculously overpriced pool pass for a pool that is the size of a backyard pool. We ended up getting evicted because my girlfriend had a dog with her and their was an incident with with a KNOWN aggressive German shepherd and even though it was an isolated incident, they evicted us because of that alone, I want to preface that I am not exaggerating. We had no prior incidents with them other than VERY minor things. I had lived here for over a decade so I was here before they got bought out and we're still owned by Fox Ridge and I want to preface that ever since they changed to Fox Pointe, it ONLY got worse. I don't think I had a single positive experience in the two years that I had to deal with these deplorable people.
TLDR : Management willingly knew about a gas leak and didn't report it, as well as myself almost getting my car towed because the complex was too cheap to put up handicap signs but still wanted to tow me because it was still in a 'handicapped' spot, and to this day still hasn't. And to top it all of, we got evicted because of a completely isolated incident that happened with my girlfriend's dog, where a German Shepherd had been known to antagonize other dogs, and yet the complex chose to evict us over. Needless to say, I had enough and was done with these people after that...
Edit : I'm astonished that Fox Pointe trys to come across as if they care about feedback, when it's clear based on how completely unwilling they were to talk to me when we were getting evicted, that the only reason they seem to care about feedback itself, is to save face. Also I want to express that I have a strong feeling that a LOT of these 5 star reviews seem fake to me as I talked to a lot of people in the community about management and all of who I spoke to seemed to agree with me that they were extremely abusive people. I have a theory that they are either paying people off, or most people are just plain too scared to actually express how they feel, as this complex loves to use fear mongering based on my experience. I can say with confidence that I would have never made this review before I moved out because of how sensitive and honestly vengeful management can come across here. read more
