He said yes just the one north of here which he pointed out and was basically right next to the rental place. So we figured we won't go that way so we don't have to deal with it. We get to the bridge under highway 18 and going slow because it's no wake and realized too late that we couldn't make it but unfortunately a boat has no breaks and it broke the top. Now why would he specifically say not to go under this one bridge, but not mention the other one that we would almost definitely be going under? I'm thinking they wanted to replace it and this is some kind of scam because when we got onto the boat, the canvas for the Bimini top was already pretty ripped up which we thankfully have photos of from when we got on. They had to call their manager who said we're basically liable for the whole thing, even though the kid clearly gave us wrong information and blamed it on a "miscommunication". Yeah it's a bit more than a miscommunication when it cost us $2,500. Which is what they charged our card. I've talked to friends who work on boats and they said that that price for the part that holds up the bimini top is extremely overpriced. There was also a worker there who the manager tried to silence but heard what happened and told us he could fix it for closer to $500. Needless to say, they are absolutely just trying to make extra money off my family and it's a pretty bad business practice. For a situation where their employee gave us wrong information, it should be a learning experience for them. They also tried to say "well there's a sticker that says lower it under bridges". Well, the sticker was not pointed out and I feel like an employee specifically saying one bridge negates that. We will be requesting an itemized damage bill.

Worst case, I could care for a minor issue for $1,000. Onsite crew also did not wipe down multiple vent covers after cleaning ducts. Owners were willing to have crew come back, but I have a deep cleaning crew that will care for that so I told them I will care for it on my own. This other company's crew, EconGenie also will use air scrubbers when performing the cleaning to eliminate floaters. My next duct cleaning will not be with Air Solutions, but Eco Genie.

I got a call that the bikes were ready the next day. Upon picking up the bikes and bringing them home, I test-rode them around a block. I found a couple of minor issues with my daughter's bike. The brake was very soft. It felt like either the pressure on the brakes were not high enough or the brake pads were worn out. The gears when in the middle sprockets were making slight noises as if the chains were touching something. Neither were big problems, and I took the bike back a few days later. Keith adjusted the gears to solve the chain noise problem, but declared that there's nothing wrong with the brakes. More serious problem occurred with my wife's bike. When first brought back from Keith's shop, I had my wife ride it around the block to make sure she was comfortable with all the settings. Everything seemed fine at first, but after about 10 mins of riding (she was beginning to enjoy it kept going the blocks and I was following her on a scooter), she all of sudden headed into a ditch and fell over. It turns out one of the pedals fell off because it was not screwed on all the way. After walking the bike back home, it was simple enough to re-screw on the pedal, but my wife ended up with a bruise on her shoulder. When I mentioned this to Keith when I went back with daughter's bike, he said the pedals were on perfectly when it left his shop, and implied that somehow we did something to loosen it up. I may not be a bike expert, but I have screwed on and off a few pedals in my life. Keith was pretty friendly before but turned less than friendly at that point. I can't speak to the quality of service with the mowers and other small engine equipment since this is my first interaction with them, but it feels like the bicycle side of the business is an add on service and that they are not really experts with the bicycles. I went to Keith's Bike and Mower because they quoted me lower rate than other bike shops around my area. At this point, I feel that was a mistake.

I like that I can call the owner on the phone if I have a question. I trust him and won't bring my bikes to anyone else when they need repairs. Because I am also a business owner, Keith asked my advice about a recent bad review by Dan S. and after talking with him I feel I should debunk it. Keith's description of the situation couldn't be more different than Dan S. posted on Yelp. Keith said Dan S. came in and had two bike repaired and he repaired them to his usual high standard. Dan S. called a few days later saying he heard a noise on one of the bikes. Keith said to bring it back in to be adjusted for free. The problem was an adjustment and was fixed in five minutes. Then on the way out the door Dan S. stated out of the blue that his wife fell off the other bike because a pedal fell off and started saying Keith was negligent and complaining that he wanted his money back. Keith told me he was very respectful to Dan S. but could not be held responsible for what happened with the bike days after the repairs were done and asked why Dan S. didnt bring in the bike since it was a serious accusation. Dan S. had no answer for him and left angry. Sounds like a shakedown to me having gone through it myself. Guy wanted something for nothing and Keith didn't give in. Keep up the good work Keith we're rooting for you against all the trolls on Yelp!

I read a lot of different small engine repair company reviews and called around to get input and pricing. Riley at J&M spoke with me on the phone. I told him I thought my mower was hydro-locked and needed to be checked out. His knowledge of small engines was so helpful. Not only did he fix my mower, he explained to me what was wrong and why it happened. Not many shops would go that far to spend time to explain things. THIS is the ONLY place I will bring my mower or snowblower to be serviced. They really understand engines and go out of their way to take care of their customers. BEWARE Dave's Sealcoating Had them replace entire driveway…read more Lack of communication / no shows. When they finally did come, it was pouring rain and had been raining for days, I noticed some problems right away. Driveway has lumps/Ripples/ Divots, Asphalt is breaking away. Driveway is less than a year old and is already cracking & Splitting ( which is why we decided to replace the old driveway) The owner told me to wait it out and it would smooth out. I sent them a 2 page letter including pictures, clearly stating the issues. Shocking, as times gone on it's gotten worse. Owner told me he sees nothing wrong with the driveway. I asked him to at least adjust the final bill based on these issues. Nope! Said he wouldn't do it. Now put a Mechanics Lein so he can get paid the remainder of his money with an increase every month. You look at the pictures or stop by and decide for yourself if this is the company you want to work with.
