(See previous review) And guess what happened? The Valley Family team called me regularly with available cancelations until a date and time finally opened up that fit my schedule perfectly. I just had my first appointment and let me tell you--I walked out smiling, and not just because they cleaned my teeth. I found my dental family. The vibe was relaxed, the office staff and dental techs were friendly and professional, and the hygienist knew exactly what she was doing. But the real star of the show? Dr. Greg. This man walked into the room radiating comfort, confidence, and calm which immediately put me at ease. I was instantly sold. I am now officially a new client of Valley Family Dentistry. If you're reading this and thinking of giving them anything less than five stars, pause. Breathe. Give them a chance--they will get back to you. I also asked how much an X Ray would be since I will be paying out of pocket. After I politely made these comments/asked questions, the dental assistant immediately got rude. Then Dr Liberatore came in and was super aggressive and rude. I was beyond confused and hurt and I started to cry and asked why they were being so cruel and the Dr continued to berate me while I was crying and looking for my keys. I asked him to please stop and that I was just looking for my keys and leaving. I never once got rude and I just left and cried in my car. I have never been treated so horribly by a provider in my life. Don't waste your time/money coming here when you can get better, more affordable care elsewhere. Their behavior was both atrocious and appalling and they should feel ashamed for bullying me the way they did.

Having recently moved up to the Adirondacks from Long Island, New York I was now having to find all…read morenew doctors and a dentist. I looked up one that would be on my Healthplex plan and chose Michael Nolan, DDS because he would be the closest one in my area and the experience was anything but great! There is no sign out front and he is located in not a very nice area and does the work out of his house. When we arrived the receptionist was on a personal phone call and couldn't even find my name and that I had a scheduled appointment....and it went down hill from there!! As a new patient you expect them to do a full series of xrays and they only did four...they did not even have a light display or computer to project them on and he barely glanced at the 4 that they did take. The cleaning was the worst I have ever experienced and the woman did not even do the teeth on the top. Also as she was polishing my teeth, she did such a bad job that a lot of it went into my hair!! Then the dentist had to replace a cracked filling and I had to have it removed because the fill that he used was very "old school" and several of my teeth became infected. I was shocked when he said that I couldn't eat for 24 hours and knew that with most dentists use a light to harden the filling and you are able to eat an hour later. So I went to Aspen Dental and they were wonderful...they removed the filling that he put in and treated the infected areas...so whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!!! I did not give this dentist any stars what so ever because he had zero bed side manor and did a crappy job to say the least!!
