Terrible experience - Stay Away!…read more We were planning a trip with our teenage daughter to Europe in the upcoming summer and hired Ms. Spitzer (and Travel A Latte) to help us with the travel plans. We gave a healthy budget (which was supposed to include airfare), and about 4-5 things we wanted to do on the trip. Ms. Spitzer sent us an itinerary which was several thousand dollars over budget and did not include any of the airfare. Additionally, not a single thing we asked to see or do was included. On top of that, there were no prices for anything at all, just a total cost for the entire trip (minus airfare). We reached out to address it. Ms. Spitzer asked what we wanted to cut to bring it within budget, but how would we know what to cut without prices for anything? Even when we made suggestions she responded that she uses prepared packages from a third party company, and so it seemed many changes could not be done. Seeing as she had done no work except sending us a pre-made itinerary from another company, we asked for half our deposit back, but she has refused. Honestly, feels like she just took our money, did not put in any work whatsoever, and was way in over her head with planning an actual vacation. Stay away if you value your time and money.

When we arrived, we realized we forgot a pair of ski boots at home so we called Nikki and she quickly resolved the problem for us. How awesome is that! Within seconds you will see all warnings to not visit Costa Rica in October because it will torrential downpour DAILY. We were so confused as to why our travel agent wouldn't tell us "hey, its probably going to rain every single day on your romantic trip" so we decided to cancel. We bought insurance so we assumed it would be no issue. Before we even had the chance to call and cancel we received an email form Pat saying OUR RESROT WAS CLOSING DOWN. So she told us she moved us to another hotel (that we couldn't even approve). When we called to simply cancel our trip (again-INSURACE), we were told we would not get our money back (the downpayment for the trip). We were told the ONLY way to get our money back is if we rebook with her company. Right. Because we are going to rebook our honeymoon with a company that was going to send to a romanic week of drowning in Costa Rica. I guess now I'm just slightly confused at what a travel agent does that a quick google search+travel sites cant do?

Yaseen Hajj & Umrah has provided great quality Hajj Service for the past few years. It has…read moreimproved significantly and for the price that Hajj services are packaged at, it offers a lot more. The packages are caterered to land into Madinah first, completely bypassing jeddah altogether along with the requirement of landing in the state of Ihram. With a direct red-eye flight from chicago to jordan, then straight into Madina, the amount of time 'wasted' at airport transit times are reduced only to two hours in Amman. We reach Madina just in time for Tahajjud, with the hotels being right across from the Haram. When it is time to leave for Hajj, we get into Ihram and make Niyyah in Madina then depart for Makkah via Jeddah. Although the American tents are located almost 40 minute walk from Jamarat, it is not too bad. They served food at three meals a day throughout. We got into Arafat before Sunrise, and found a very nice spot for our tents, which we stayed for the course of the day. Leaving for Arafah this early immediatly after offering out Fajr Salaah, this alleviated getting stuck in any traffic that we heard nightmares about, and we left Arafah after 10pm and on the way to Muzdalifah, the same was observed as we made it in only 30 minutes time. The group areas are divided by maktab, or tent numbers which we are assigned upon arrival to Mina, and this kept things very organized in terms of our occupied areas. On the 13th of Zulhijjah, we came back to Makkah and stayed at top five star Zam Zam towers, which was first rated, right across gate #1, bab abdul-aziz for four days. IN general from what was heard amongst other groups, this group really went out of their way to make sure our comfort was not jeopardized, and although Hajj, is Hajj, this group made it so one of our main pillars of Islam was offered in the best possible way. Highly recommended!
