Finally, a software designer who understands outrageous customer service!…read more We have been in business for more than 25 years. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service experience. To stay on top, we have developed dozens of websites through the years, always utilizing highly-recommended themed solutions by top-rated companies. In every case, the software could not do exactly what we needed it to do and customer service has always been lacking. Today that is no longer the case. BX3 took the time needed to move our entire website over into a much more modern and seemless website. They made numerous recommendations, always agreeing to do whatever we needed. I quickly realized that I needed to go with virtually every one of their recommendations. Our website now looks and functions great. There are always issues with any new store but in this case, those typical developmental issues were dealt with in real time by people who always operated as our advocates. Now, after 25 years of continual frustration I can focus on content and improvement of our web presence and I know I have Brian with BX3 available should I run into any issues whatsoever. BX3 gets my highest recommendation for providing incredible service at an affordable price and operating more as a business partner than a contractor. I am so glad I found these guys!

After trying to design something ourselves with 2 separate do-it-yourself website builder templates and another failed attempt with an "agency" who appears to have contracted their work off-shore, we searched locally for a skilled specialist. He delivered for us in a timely manner and while he's a model of professionalism, he's also personable and very responsive. If we could give more than a 5 star rating, we absolutely would!

Brandon Cook, the owner of splinter, will give you a price to do something and when it doesn't work…read morewill charge again to fix it. He charged for a core feature on our website that him and his team developed. It didn't work for over a year. He then tried to bill us to fix it. The website had 404 errors way before he changed servers and then sent a bill to fix it, but he blamed it on the new server. He also illegally got into our customer database, on the server, and retrieved one of our admin log in credentials and then used those log in credentials to make himself another admin account after we terminated his services. To this day he refuses to give us our backups of the website or ftp log in credentials so we can migrate the site to another host after we spent upwards of 150k with him. I would steer clear of this company because they charge to fix issues that should have worked from the get go and break in to the backside of your website after their services were terminated. We researched local providers to help with developing a Logo, Webpage and Business Cards. Jen, from the first phone call, was amazing. We knew nothing except how to order cards. I've never before written a negative review, and I've waited a long time to write this one, simply…read morebecause I try to avoid criticizing people. However, I've had so many difficulties with Jen Chapman that I can't hold off any longer. She did build a website for me, which is why I gave her two stars, but it was a difficult and frustrating process. After the initial meetings, she would no longer talk to me on the phone but only accepted emails, which she often didn't respond to at all. When she did respond, it was clear that she hadn't read much of what was in them, even tho I made my emails as brief and well organized as I could so they would be clear to her. She ignored many of my requests and seemed to follow her own ideas without regard for what I wanted. There were times it was so difficult to deal with her that I ended up accepting less than I wanted just to get the job completed. The last straw, and why I'm posting this review now, was when I recently emailed her asking for login credentials for my website. My email was friendly and positive, asking how she was and thanking her in advance. Her reply, without any response to my good wishes for her, was simply "I don't have that information any more.". No greeting or signature, just that curt message. A marketing firm who will be working on my website told me that they have worked with web developers for many years and have never ever seen a response like that, or a refusal to help with such basic information. If you're considering Jen, beware. I'm not alone in my opinion; my experience was just like that of another reviewer. There are probably many more out there.
