I had an absolute blast! It was all of us first time going and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. So much fun! Our ball kept popping to the other side hitting others pins and vice versa. It was hilarious! My brother in law is a football coach so this was right up his alley. He went on and on about how he wanted to bring the team back to help them with their aiming and posture. The drinks were top notch and the service was amazing. The only downside is that they don't have a kitchen so you have to order out and have it delivered via doordash or something. But there is a pizza place that delivers there also. It's also a pretty good size facility. They have two sides with lanes. It's such a great atmosphere and place to go when you wanna have fun.

Always a fun time at the Fowling Warehouse in Hamtramck! My favorite time to come here is before DCFC games. It's a great spot to park, play some fowling ($5 cover charge before DCFC games), and march with the rest of the Northern Guard to Keyworth Stadium for the game! The Fowling Warehouse also has a bar with beer/other drink options, gender neutral bathrooms, and tons of space for viewing or play fowling (so many different lanes!) and is just generally such a big warehouse space for fun!

This is the 3rd location I have been to for fowling, it's grown so much from the first location in the back lot of the bar in Detroit eons ago. Was at the 2nd location elsewhere in Detroit before moving to hamtramck. The game is much harder than it looks. It costs $120 to reserve a lane. We did open fowling tonight and had to wait for the loser on the lane we were waiting on for open fowling. They used to not charge for people not playing but charge $10 for everyone, that's no fun for people not paying to be charged for playing, even says online that they don't charge if you don't play. It's packed for a Saturday night, lots of bday and bachelorette and bachelor parties. Lots of can, beer and draft beer options. There are large round tables along the alley cages for larger parties too. Rules are on the red wall by the restrooms.

This is one of my favorite places that I can't wait to go back to once social distancing is lifted. We have come here on several occasions. We were here twice for birthday parties and a few times for Detroit FC pre parties! It gets very busy. So pack your patience. Parking is an issue. Be prepared to park pretty far away and walk. Bring ID. They may refuse you entrance after 9 pm. There are a few bar areas, but during busy times getting a drink can be an issue. I can't throw a football. So I just stay to the side and cheer and drink of course. If you have a party you can bring in outside food. If you're there for the game you can start off there and March across the street to the stadium to show your support! Super fun. This is a fun spot for a date night or for a party. I can't wait to go back!

What a fun time had by everyone! It was extremely busy when we first arrived but they have plenty of room for people to lounge and watch the games going on. I did find that there were maybe too many "lanes" in one area, a lot of intercepting throws with other people. The space is HUGE though so they could've easily opened up the whole warehouse to accommodate for more room. It definitely takes a lot out of you to continuously throw a football across a room, would be great for a date or group event!

FOWLING???...Yes, FOWLING! Throwing a football at a set of bowling pins with friends in an old warehouse in a rough part of Detroit...with a little beer and Amicci's Pizza...you can't beat it with a stick! It is a Wednesday evening after work and our group of about 30 co-workers decided to try a new sport (that is a stretch) called Fowling. What a riot! With footballs flying everywhere and bowling pins flying everywhere, this place is nuts!...in a good way. Located in an old warehouse and outfitted with a full bar and the ability to have pizza delivered (this evening from highly touted local independent Amicci's), this place rocks for some unconventional and competitive fun in the heart of the Motor City. Highly recommended.

Fowling. Fun experience and enjoyed it fully. We used do after hour activities once a month with our team and choose this one last time. We had reservations for couple of lanes. We went on thursday evening and the staff were pleasant. Explained about the game. Before starting, thinking how hard it is going to be and started the game. As a first time player I didn't knocked out any pinfor some time. But after a while got used on how to play and was comfortable. Every meant was fun and I really enjoyed playing as a newbie. One of our co-worker hit all the pins in one kick. Got his name on the board. Amazing. They have beer and some snacks. There is not much food options inside. We got pizza delivered to the place. Staff were nice. We have been sitting for long time and having dinner after playing. One trouble while driving to the place even with GPS, after seeing dead lane sign, I came out thinking I missed some directions. But the place is actually inside and realized another co-worker also had same experience.

Only in Michigan can you play a hybrid of football and bowling! Such a random combination but so much fun. You can definitely spend an hour or two here doing a mix of fowling and getting drinks. It cost $10 admission and you can stay in your lane for as long as you want, but I definitely got tired after four or five games since it's harder than it looks. I wish they'd bring fowling to the Bay; it'd really be a hit!

    Lynn H.

It's harder than it looks, folks! You throw a regulation football at your opponents' regulation bowling pins across 48 feet. The pins are in 10-pin formation on a platform and the winner is the first team who knocks down all the other team's pins. You can throw overhand or underhand or you can roll the ball, but anyway you toss it, footballs bouncy crazy! We played only 5 games in 2 hours and we were playing the whole time, we just couldn't get those pins down. Our group of seven had an absolute blast. You can't bring your own drinks (Fowling Warehouse has it's own, enormous, full bar) but you can bring in your own food. So we had a potluck, which was easy because of the picnic tables and plugs right next to our lane (lane 11). The cost to reserve a lane for two hours is only $120, and you can have up to 10 people per lane, so it's a good deal.

Aside from the Auto Industry, Motown, Toy Trains, and Cereals. Introducing Detroit's new product, Fowling. It's basically football and bowling marrying each other and becoming a new sport. It's like any other Midwest sport that you can carry a beer in one had and throw something with the other. It's a hybrid of the horse shoe and the corn hole. Only played with regulation size footballs and bowling pins. Yes it probably sounds weird and utterly boring like corn hole and horse shoe, but once you play, it really gets fun. Specially when you play doubles. It has all the fun and exhilaration of beer pong, but none of the drawbacks like throwing up. Just your good old family fun and maybe a little competition. Your ability to throw the football does come into play big time. I just love handling balls, but if you're not into handling balls? There's a bar with a gazillion craft beers on it,, go get something to drink instead then. I don't think there's any food yet. I'm sure they're working on that. But I heard they'll allow you to order pizza and have it delivered there. Anyways, the Fowling Warehouse is a fun place to be. Come down and check it out. It's only $10 for all you can fowl. Weeeeeeeeee!!

We also tried the fried chicken muffaletta sandwich and burger with tots and crinkle fries. The chicken sandwich is really tasty if you like olives, which I do. It came out on a nice seeded bun freshly fried and hot. Yum. Hubby enjoyed the burger and added bacon - they have really nice thick sliced bacon. It was cooked perfectly with a nice soft bun. I'm pretty sure the fries and tots are just frozen and presented well - at $11 and $12 for those, you might just skip those and get the meatball parm sliders because they're seriously delicious. I plan to return just for those - they're the best thing on the menu. Homemade patties and sauce; top notch. But, the crinkle fries do come with this yummy homemade malted mayo as well as ketchup, and I really enjoyed that. The tots are dusted with a spicy salty seasoning which made them maybe a touch too salty. Both of those came out super hot and crispy though, which I definitely appreciate. Overall, a very tasty meal that had care put into it. The host and server were both very friendly and our service was perfect.
