They are all very knowledgable about the local waters and insects and willing to teach you whatever you are willing to learn. If you go out with these guys you will be put in a position to catch some very nice sized trout if you are able to follow their directions. As I did my first fly fishing trip ever with a guide from here I can say from experience that they know how to teach and aid anyone from their first cast onward as they are also able to help hone the skills of more seasoned veterans. Highly recommend you get a guide from here if you are fishing in the area and want to set yourself up for some great catches and memories. The shop itself is also very cool and has a lot of great merch and lots of friendly folks around who are easy to strike up a conversation with and get some insight into how the river is fishing and what bugs they are getting hits with. TL,DR: Yellowstone Angler is an awesome store with great, guides. Book one with confidence knowing you are in good hands. Tight lines!

They have a nice small collection of poncho shirts, and I was able to find both my size and a style I really liked. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the store has a great overall selection of clothing. I didn't get a chance to check out the fishing tackle on this visit, but they definitely appear to have an impressive selection. Great experience and definitely worth stopping by!

The Outfitters group that takes us out onto the water and teaches us to Fly fish is Montana's Last Best Outfitters " MLBO" Some of us had never picked up a fishing pole let a lone a fly rod. Others who have fished with your regular rod and reel learned very quickly there is a huge difference between that and a fly rod. Lucky for us we had the staff members from MLBO. They were patient and very knowledgeable with the rods, and specific flies to use, having them on the river with us almost felt like we were cheating. Sure we had to put in the work casting and landing a fish, but each one would point us in the direction to cast and sure enough a few moments later we were struggling to land them. MLBO has generations upon generations of knowledgable, passionate and experienced fisherman. In the military when someone has been on tour after tour we call them "seasoned veterans" or "salt dogs" well the members of MLBO would be the "seasoned veterans of the water" Thank you guys for everything. I couldn't imagine being in your neck of the woods and not wanting your guidance on the water. So ladies and gentleman of yelp I can assure you if your looking for and outfitters group in the Bozeman Montana are ..... you will never go wrong choosing MLBO.

The people at this bike shop need to work on their customer service skills. It seems like some…read moreshops are very nice and generous, which is very much needed in these tough times, but others come across as complete snobs. Prior to calling the shop I emailed them about a week ago asking if they can offer a small discount on some brakes. Haven't heard from them so I decided to give them a call. It was difficult not reaching anyone anytime of day that I called. However, after an unforgettable conversation with a gentleman, I decided to rate this business and give it an honest review. I spoke with a someone on the phone and he was an incredible jerk who was not pleasent to talk to. I expected a 'wizard' to be more magical and persuasive in their arguments. After introducing myself and saying that I was looking for a discount on some brakes, he explained that it was cheap and, "we offer free shipping". I explained that there was someone local in my area that offered these cheaper. After learning that he wouldn't lower the price, I decided that this was a dude that didn't deserve my money not only because I didn't want to pay the price but also because I could get it from someone much nicer. There's a lot of attitude on his end and after I said, "Thanks for everything, tho" he gives me a "Bye" that reeked of entitlement and made be feel belittled. Wish I could have recorded this conversation for y'all to hear. I'm not a big fan of people from Montana especially if they treated all callers and potential customers like this. PS: If you made it this far, thanks for hearing me out on this review. The store hasn't paid Yelp to remove this yet.
