Very excited to see my son happy, learning, in motion and being treated kindly. Definitely struck the "I would trust you with my sons life" vibe from everyone here. PARTY RENTAL REVIEW…read more We celebrated our son's 4th birthday at Horizon Kids in Jenison, and this was our second time hosting a party here. I have to say, this recent experience was on a whole different level when it comes to customer service and attention to detail! The two staff members working that day were absolutely amazing--so kind, helpful, and attentive. Our kids felt comfortable and safe with them the entire time. They offered to help set up and clean up our party items, checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed, and made a point to acknowledge the birthday boy multiple times throughout our reservation. We truly felt taken care of, and the staff made the day even more special. As for the space itself- we loved it. You get 2 hours from start to finish (Activities are 1 hour 45 minutes, with the last 15 minutes of your party being used for packing up). You can have up to 12 kids any additional is just $5 per child. You're allowed to come in 15 minutes early to set up, and cleanup needs to be done right at the cutoff so staff can disinfect and prep for the next group, which is totally understandable. The facility is spacious, very clean, and perfect for kids to run around and play. The staff takes them into the gym to do activities and keep watch making it nice for parents too! They also put up a birthday sign and streamers with the colors you ask for! Our kids had a blast--ours even fell asleep on the way home! Pizza delivery is available (we chose Pizza Hut because it's close), and you're also welcome to bring your own food and treats, which makes planning easy and affordable. Overall, we absolutely loved it here and can't recommend Horizon Kids enough!

Are you looking at this review right now because you wonder just how nice it would be to have a…read morepersonal trainer that understands your specific fitness needs, supports you in goal setting, helps keep your statistics tracked, and remains flexible in scheduling? Well, I'm so happy for you because you finally found him! Ian is fantastic at keeping my training sessions upbeat, positive and relaxed. He helps me focus more of the crappier energy I have towards gyms on my workout/learning process in a more positive and engaged manner. Fitness training is tough work mentally and physically, so you can at least be guaranteed support in these departments of life with your time spent in the gym. Focusing more on my direct experience in session: it's chill and kind of fun now. I can lift weights in different positions and connect the why behind why I'd choose higher/lower weights for various exercises when I'm at the gym alone. I learned this from Ian. He shows you what to do, you follow, now you know! We overcomplicate too much on our own and my time with Ian is helping me develop my "gym identity". I can already tell leg days are a hit.. Keep it pushin' and make a new friend! You won't regret your time spent with Grand Rapid's #1 fitness trainer.. Ian Hall!! *DISCLAIMER: I am just a guy learning how to get stronger and needed an accountability buddy to help and am very happy with my progress so far. AI did not write this review. Just want people to know when they've found an honest and caring person to help them. Toodles!
