A small store but with everything you need smack dab in the center of the action in Picton. I was impressed with the selection of produce. If I were staying longer than two days in Picton, I would have gotten some of the meat and bacon. They sure looked good.
The store's got all the necessities to make a meal or grab something hot or cold that's ready to eat. And of course it's got paper and other dry goods, has a small pharmacy section, a good bit of alcohol, etc. - really, everything you need. Also stuff you (and by that, I mean me) shouldn't be eating on your diet, like the Sultana biscuits I found in China in 2018, but haven't found since - until now. Who would think I'd find them again in Picton, New Zealand, in 2024? Life is good. The diet resumes when I return home.
Friendly staff members here. BTW, someone at the store has a sense of humor. See the two self-explanatory photos. read more
