Heather was terrific in taking care of my pet rabbit while gone for a few days. Daily texts keep me at ease. Had no worries.

The summers are filled with summer concerts that allow families to come together and the community to enjoy music, foods from foos trucks. Fall welcomes the halloween haunts where kids make memories that last a life time. I really love hidden spots in the botanical gardens for flower lovers like me can go and just enjoy mother nature. The added butterfly garden and its butterfly chairs make it more special. The soccer fields are filled with kids and adults playing sports. The community center adds that final touch with rooms that can be rented for special events, meetings, and downstairs is access to the heated pool. 5/5 I have attended a few private events at the community center and its a great addition to the area.

The park is immaculately kept. There is a kids play area with splash pad and restrooms nearby. They even have EV parking here with chargers. The adjacent parking lot is free. The park is not too far from Aliso Viejo and we enjoy changing up the parks we visit with Suki. She's in the last years of her life and I want her to enjoy all the grassy fields she could possibly want to explore. If you have a free moment and are in need of some tranquil scenery, this place could be it.

He trained my husband and me as well as our puppy! So grateful. Tommy has a gift for knowing how dogs think and he shares that knowledge as part of the session. We never felt rushed to finish a lesson when he came to the house, he just dealt with our issues and reminded us to keep practicing with our dog until next time. We even decided to enroll in his weekly puppy class so that our puppy would learn to behave around other dogs. His private dog park is a god-send as we live in a condo and don't have a yard for our puppy to play in. She loved going there and we'll be back! We highly recommend Tommy. He showed us how to anticipate what our puppy was going to do before she did it and correct her misdeeds before they take place. Five stars!

He is very relatable and has a unique way of teaching that is very enjoyable and actually entertaining, all at the same time! Now that is talent! Tommy was made for this job and well worth his price. You get what you pay for. He definitely does not watch the clock and gives you more than 1 hr and does not leave until he has answered all your questions. My dog is already doing better on our walks. Tommy teaches but you have to do what he says or you have wasted your money. I signed up for 5 lessons and looking forward to the rest. I will update when we are finished.

I say this because…read moreof the copious amounts of goose poops everywhere and the amount of shrieking children it contains. Parking is plentiful but you will be paying $3-5 per vehicle. It's best to use the OC Park pass if you have one or just park at the nearby shopping center. Another gripe I have is the foul stench of the lake / reservoir. Not long ago, hundreds of dead fishes floated about and it was left like that for days. It's near the water reclamation facilities and even on sunnier clearer days, it just seems not worth walking nearby with dogs. So as much as I like the convenient location and the recreational facilities perfect for those with kids, it's just not for dog owners like me.

Love strolling through Canyon View Park but only on weekdays…read more Parking here is nonexistent. You have to parallel park in specific areas and specific side of the street only. It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood and it will be hard to park during the weekends. It's an otherwise peaceful area to walk around in unless you have the unfortunate encounters with unleashed dogs, shrieking children due to the two playgrounds, or inconsiderate people talking extremely loudly on their smartphones. Sometimes you will encounter all 3 and by then, the walk with my dogs are ruined. My one dog is extremely shy and timid so I frequently have to carry her back to the car with another pulling beagle in tow. No fun at all. The poop bag stations are inconsistently filled and the park has dog droppings hidden in any areas of the grass or sidewalk. So if your dogs tend to eat stuff off the ground, WATCH OUT! Mine tried to roll in it and I so didn't appreciate it. The park also leads to several different trails that allows dogs for some of the paths. It will be an extremely steep hill to climb up and down if you access it from the Canyon View Park side. Not for the faint of heart and be aware it has little to no shade. Bring water, and don't attempt to climb if you have sandals on. It will get your feet dusty and good pair of NB or Hokas would really help. In all, I think it's a decent park to go to, but not my first choice due to noise, dog droppings, and ease of access. Avoid on weekends unless you like crowds.
