Checked out this new park. Located across the Target/ Sprouts strip malls & next door to the fire station. This is a quiet park with street parking, a play structure, a couple picnic tables, coal pit, chess table, ping pong table, corn hole, a small patch of grass, 2 dog parks, and a solo bathroom (see photo). For the activities, you need to bring your own equipment. The solo bathroom has an external sink, soap dispenser, hand dryer, drinking fountain, & water bottle refill station. The two dog parks are really nicely sized but it is all dirt and gravel with a few doggy obstacles. My dog is use to 3-5 mile daily walks and I've never seen his paws so torn up as after 20 minutes running around in this park. I guess, it might be more of a roaming area rather than full speed fetch type park. There are plenty of doggy trash cans and bags so hopefully everyone continues to pick up after their dogs. Overall, it is a nice little park that is still very clean, quiet and not busy. read more
