The greens have been doubled in size and now hold approach shots. Be aware that there is water on every hole, so bring extra golf balls. This course is not long, but the shot values can be demanding. This will be tough to get on during peak season. If you know a member, your chances are better.

So, I need to buy range balls on top of $195. No cups for water provided? And conditions on course are not great?. I played Gray Oaks last week for $190. Private club and ratws 10/10 course, three 18 holes and all perfect, all drinking water and unlimited cups, amazing greens, super friendly staff and beautiful 2 driving ranges at the main course with free unlimited new Titleist golf balls, amazing club house, amazing food for less money if you can get in. Lely was $165. After 11 am. on golf now and free range balls, free water bottles and amazing condition at Mustang. Note- I will advise tomorrow on Stoney Brook...better be amazing at this price. Lots of great public courses (Arrowhead $150.; Spanish Wells $140.; Valencia $130.; Lely $165; panther Run $130....just saying)

We are fortunate to be social members of this fine club and today, I played golf at Harborside…read more There are 3 nine hole courses, each with its own personality but one consistent trait is the courses are manicured, the greens consistent and bunkers are raked like the PGA tour. If you ever get the opportunity to play here do NOT pass it up. It's special

We got a king beach view room. Room needed to be updated BAD. They had set up a nice plate of cookies and chocolates for our honeymoon but the writing said happy anniversary. Not a huge deal we were happy they at least did something, champagne they gave us was nice. The room had a closet with a giant air conditioning unit inside of it that was constantly turning on and off and that's all you can hear. It was close enough to the bed that I wasn't gonna be able to sleep because of how loud it was. One of the lamps in the room didnt work, including an outlet. I understand things happen or fail, but when you're paying this amount of money to stay in a hotel like this, I expected better. What was the worst was when we went down to the pool. It was extremely crowded and there were TONS of kids. That being said nobody was controlling their kids at all. A group of children were kicking around a soccer ball aggressively and almost hit me and my husband multiple times. The kids were jumping up on the pool loungers and over the small tables in between that had full drinks on them. The staff watched and did not do a damn thing, some of the parents joined in and were kicking the ball as well thinking it was funny. It was an extreme liability not only for other people, but children running around a busy, wet pool deck is not something that should be happening. Other people were being blocked in and unable to walk to the beach access because these children were kicking this ball around and it was hitting multiple people. Everybody looked extremely irritated. The parents did not try to stop the kids from doing so and ended up hitting a woman in the head with the ball. After that, we tried to make it a place that we want to stay, but we ended up going to the front desk explaining how we felt and decided it was best we pack our stuff up and leave. We spent a total of maybe 3 hours at the resort. We found another resort down the road that was able to take us in such short notice. We still lost part of our deposit which sucked, even what they took wasnt worth the time we spent there. We understand that other people are staying there and we don't usually mind children if they're respectful and not acting like animals. But what was most aggravating was that the staff did nothing and also the parents. It put a huge dent into our evening. Will never go back.

Fun to see peeps out swinging their clubs. The clubhouse has good food at very fair prices. Breakfast sandwich was tasty (can the bun be toasted?). A public course they try to keep prices reasonable and have specials and youth programs. Come hit some balls, grab a bite, or go for walk! Or rent a cart and go for a ride!!!! There is also a pro-shop with Bobby Jones gear. Tees. There are plans to tie the nature trail into 17th Street Park and the Legacy Trail. A wildflower area would be wonderful. Forrest Whittaker from IfAS at Twin Lakes Park can help. Also some volunteer days to pull caesar weed and Brazilian pepper along the nature trail would be good. Plant some native wildflowers????

One gentleman said they had 4000 rounds last month so the demand is there; hopefully, in time, the course will mature and be worth it. Multiple tee boxes but most holes are basically straight. I would recommend changing pin colors; we had difficulty finding certain pins due to overcast conditions and environmental distractions. Too new for gps to pick up course so I recommend bringing a range finder.

My favorite duo of courses in the area excluding the higher end destination resort courses at…read moreStreamsong. Their members must be thrilled with the two courses they got. Both are so very different playing experiences. Commander is a fun, championship, modern, strategic golf course that rewards smart angles into the green with makeable putts. You need to drive your ball fairly well here, but there aren't as many hazards, so much as bad approaches into the green that bring hazards into play due to an errant drive. I'd argue it has two of the better par fives in the area in the 1st and 18th holes. Piper is a true lynx course that is extremely windy and crooked. It makes you use your tee shot to choose yardages into the greens wisely since missing a green on Piper means trying to get up and down with your pitch or chip on extraordinarily undeleting greens with several complexes. Often if you are on the wrong level it is almost a guaranteed bogey trying to get to the correct level. It's more fun than I've made it sound I promise! It's one of my favorite in the area and a lot of fun to play when there's just a touch of wind but not too much. Their practice facility comprised of a range, bunkers, pitching and chipping area, and putting green both near those and near the first hole of both courses is unmatched in the area.

This was one of my top 5 Golf Experiences in Florida. Well worth the money. The Staff and members…read morewere great.
