Wonderful place, small and close knit. Staff and directors are friendly and interact well with the kids!

Since my first interaction with the past director Katie it has been a great experience for my child. She has grown up so much and loved each staff member who has cared and fostered a caring and learning atmosphere for children. We have seen a girl who started out with some flaws and learned so much in each classroom she has been in with each teacher. It has been a great atmosphere for her and she loves to tell us about her day at daycare which we love to hear about as well. Currently she's in Enchantment A with Mr. Devyn who is so caring and compassionate about teaching his classroom. He brings a fun and engaging learning atmosphere to this classroom. I am also pleased to see my daughter making so friends here which wasn't easy before here. We appreciate being able to sign our daughter up for in school karate, dance, gymnastics, soccer, etc. Instead of having to scramble to all these activities after school. The school calendar is always busy and they always have activities planned from school year to summer camp. The educational tools and activities are enough to keep my daughter consistently engaged and happy. The facility itself is so clean too. My daughters favorite part is the "the green." The green is the play area for all the children to hang out. If you're looking for the best private daycare for your child look no further than The Gardner School of Dublin their staff is compassionate and they really care for the children here. You can clearly see if through these kids eyes!

A lot of the staff is still the same which shows a good work environment for them and stability for the kids that go there. We feel blessed to have found them and have never questioned that he wasn't getting the best care possible away from us. Academically he is ahead and is always appropriately challenged with the great preschool curriculum but also gets to exercise, play with friends, and generally be a little kid. Another thing that has stood out to use recently is how the CEO and upper management is handling the COVID-19 breakout. They are keeping us up to date, making informed decisions, and caring for their staff as well as the kids. There is a current plan and they are working on a continued plan to be able to pay the teachers while the school may be closed. They all take such good care of the kids year-round it makes me so happy TGS is willing to take care of the teachers and staff during this time of unknowns! We give The Gardner School of Dublin an A++++++!

When I asked for a two week off to keep from the spread I was told I still had to pay. She started in the youngest room and moved up to the next room just before we moved to Montreal, QC. After 3 1/2 years in Canada, we returned to Columbus and I contacted Brooksedge again - as well as reviewed several other locations again, in order to see how Brooksedge compared now to other daycares in the area. This time we were looking at taking two girls to the center, a 2yo and a 4yo. I was excited to hear that the center's Director, Amy, was still in charge. She is there nearly everyday when I arrive to drop the girls off and many days when I'm leaving too! The kids all seem to know her and she is obviously very involved in the daily routines. Their pricing includes a morning snack/breakfast around 8:00/8:30AM, lunch, and afternoon snack. For the littler ones, the tuition also includes wipes! I visited a Goddard School nearby and was shocked that their standard tuition didn't include lunch - I would've been packing one for each kid everyday, but paying the same price as Brooksedge. The center is tucked in-between a small strip of shops and a residential neighborhood. I don't think the exterior is incredibly impressive, but the interior is fantastic! The classrooms are open and colorful. They have floor to ceiling windows in most rooms to let in lots of light, and they cover them with curtains at naptime. The back hallway of the center is painted with a beautiful ocean mural. Everything is always clean, but without feeling sterile. I'm finding that the girls are trying and loving new foods, improving their writing and communication skills and having a LOT of fun. Honestly, I don't think they'd have as much fun if they were home with me all day! I always said that I wanted to find a place that was what I would do if I started a daycare and they've exceeded all of my expectations both times our kids have been enrolled. In fact, I'm learning from them too! They're a true partner in raising our kids. I don't worry that I'm away from my girls while I work. Brooksedge is doing a great job teaching them other valuable lessons during their time away from me about peer socialization, respect and trust in other adults as authority figures, and independence. Also, I find that our girls try new things (like new food) that they wouldn't try with me. Some mornings when I drop them off, the oldest tells me to "hurry up and go to work" because they are busy at "school" now. Many of the teachers have been with the school for several years - we saw some familiar faces when we returned. The teachers are fantastic! And let's be honest, they've assisted in raising a LOT more children then I'll ever raise on my own. They have some great tips for common challenges at each age level and by partnering with them, I'm learning to be a more efficient and effective parent. Parents pay a staggering amount for daycare, but with a center this great, I feel like I should be paying more.

It's not inexpensive; in fact, it's about as pricey as it gets, but as expectant parents who have done their homework know, there's not a wide margin from school to school, and the several that we explored before choosing Primrose that were substantially less expensive...well I wouldn't step foot back in those schools. The kind of relationships that my children have built with ALL of their teachers trough the several classrooms they have been in is on par with the kind of relationship they have with their grandparents and aunts and uncles. The primrose staff is family to my children. Several teachers that ended up leaving primrose still keep contact with me on Facebook, and send messages of well wishes and asking how the girls are doing. Both of my girls are potty trained, know more sign language than I can keep up with, and are creatively and socially engaged beyond the level of which I could hope them to be in most any other circumstance. The moral of the story - if you're looking for an environment that fosters loving friendship, family values, and education foremost, and you hope to have your children more developmentally advanced than their stay-at-home counterparts...if you want to leave your daycare every morning at drop off knowing that they're in the hands of people you love and trust, the Mill Run Primrose should be your first option. Even after divorce and a tighter budget, I've never considered an alternative option. Do yourself a favor and go tour with Tara, Liz, and Katie and meet the teachers my children consider family.
