Our oldest completed the primary program with Ms. Suba and Ms. Meena, who were absolutely fantastic. He transitioned smoothly into first grade at our local public elementary school, where he is thriving. Our youngest has been with Ms. Amanda, along with Ms. Antonette and Ms. Carrington, for two years and has gained remarkable independence and confidence. Thanks to their Montessori education at West Montessori, both of our children have become independent thinkers and risk-takers. It truly is a Montessori environment where the teachers are experts in their field. The leadership is equally impressive; the director, Ms. McAnelly, and the assistant director, Ms. Nasrin, are kind, professional, and understanding. With only four classrooms, the school feels like one big family. The fact that every staff member knows us personally creates a deep sense of safety and belonging, which has always been our top priority. What makes West Montessori special for our family: Family & Community Involvement: The school goes above and beyond to keep parents involved through special monthly traditions. We've cherished the "Mommy dates," "Daddy dates," and "Grandparent dates" for holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and even Rodeo Day. These events make us feel like active participants in our children's school life. Global Awareness & Public Speaking: We love how the curriculum embraces and celebrates diverse cultures. My oldest would come home eager to share the traditions of Diwali or the Lunar New Year. A true highlight was the kindergarten graduation, where every child gave a speech about a particular country they had studied. It was incredible to see that level of confidence and global knowledge at such a young age. Enrichment & On-Site Services: Beyond the classroom, they offer a fantastic range of activities such as Soccer Shots, yoga, dance, Spanish, cooking classes, and more. It is also incredibly convenient and supportive that they allow on-site speech therapy for children who need that extra bit of help. We feel very fortunate to be part of this school. If you're looking for a caring, expert-led, close-knit community for your children, we highly recommend West Montessori!

The entire staff is caring, well-organized, and provides excellent structure--both academically and socially. We've seen significant growth in our daughter's development since she started. Our youngest will be joining the toddler class next month, and we're excited for her to begin her journey at the school as well. The administration is highly organized, communicates regularly with parents, and does an outstanding job maintaining a positive and structured environment. We're truly grateful to be part of this school community and would highly recommend it to other families.

Communication at this place is the thing that irks me most, if there is one thing that really gets me upset is when people have poor communication skills. On today 1/14/2026 I had an altercation with a teacher. Mind you prior to my son switching to this woman class I had bad vibes about her as she is a room monitor that I have never seen smile in the hallways and she seems to be in a bad mood. If you don't want to work with kids get another job. I hate that. Anyways my son is developmentally delayed. So although he is potty trained he tends to have accidents every now and again. They transitioned my child to another class I thought this was based on learning as I was never informed the child had to be fully potty trained and no accidents. I've Spoken to the teacher and she didn't mention that either, on Wednesday when I dropped off my son I even confirmed he had just used the restroom and he had on a fresh pull up/w underwear. She said okay. On Thursday my older son took him in to school, by this time my son had been in the class 3 days so far...I send my son in to take him to class and my son comes back out with him. He says the teacher says that he must be wearing underwear only, shocking because I was just there yesterday and the teacher never said that to me. I go inside and I can already feel her sense of attitude. I tell her I can bring extra pull ups or underwear in case he has an accident and this person looks at me and says who would help him change into the new underwear as we don't provide that type of assistance in this class. This is a whole daycare... even elementary schools kids have accidents. At this point I'm super irritated because of her passive aggressive attitude and basically her saying if my son would have an accident there would be no assistance in being changed. My thing is even kids at that age don't wipe or sometime was their hands wells so you don't offer assistance to these little kids. I then asked her not to single my child out by having him returned to the car and that she could have requested I come in and we could have had the conversation or called me. But of course she went snazzy and said "I didn't single your son out." but that's exactly what you did by removing him from the class. Then when I attempted to communicate do she just brushed me off like whatever and well I'm not proud but I did in fact go off. The teachers name is Ms.Niajah... also normally love Ms PaMona but I didn't like that her employee wasn't checked for lack of communication, her rude comment about who would help him if he did have an accident and her blatant passive aggressive attitude. if you can't communicate effectively there is no way you should be running a classroom and to the teacher fix your attitude or find a new place to work. I'm tired of people working in places like this just for a paycheck but really you aren't even a people person. I interviewedother daycares now because they said I did cuss and there were students around. Which I am deeply sorry for, but it's my child and when you have an attitude about my child or I see you being mean spirited against my child I'm not going to just sit there and say nothing. It's a schools job to effectively communicate and even Ms. PaMona said they dropped the ball with communication yet I'm the problem.

Please believe updates will be made…read more I've noticed this children learning center several times because my nail shop is in the nearby strip (shout-out to Tina & Sugar at Berries). Now that we're considering child care this one automatically came to mind. We toured this past Saturday right after touring Katy Kids. First impression - Wow! They have several buses, covered parking, shaded playgrounds, a splash pad and it looks extremely clean and professional the moment you step inside. The lobby staff was very welcoming when we arrived for our appointment. We signed in and Idalis the Education Director came to greet us. I liked how she interacted with CJ and her level of patience while he was running all over the place. She showed us around the center and gave us a great overview of the enrollment process, schedule, weekly/ monthly activities, cafeteria, classrooms, teachers and interactive systems in place. My son REALLY loved the science/math lab. She was shocked he already knows his planets has started reading. Look, I was impressed and honestly I don't impress easily. I mean they have a full time cook/chef and full kitchen! She took her time and answered every question I had. She completely gave us the reassurance we needed. As a parent - that's pivotal. I can not over state that enough. I just want my son to be safe and thrive. Lastly, we discussed pricing. Surprisingly , it was less expensive than I thought. Although it's twice what we paid our private baby sitter weekly and more expensive than the previous option down the street I can certainly see where it goes and confidently say it appears to be worth it. Plus educators and vets get a discount so that's cool ! Once you see how they are structured you're going to want the best for you little one. I called one other option nearby on Longenbaugh but the price was $25 more a week and honestly I can't see it getting any better than Ivy Kids.

The director helped us locate schools with programs fitting for his GT level. I would strongly encourage you too double check the facility and the training of all adults that are employed at this facility for the safety of your children. The police were called so you can verify the incident with the Harris County Constables office to the extent they were called out to the facility and they were seen going in to check the facility since no one appeared to know he was missing or how he got out in the first place. But when I came to Blooming Daisie's learning center for a walk-through visit one I was impressed about how well they kept the place clean and sanitized due to Covid. No one has to share. All the teachers were very friendly and got to know my son well. The Director is great. She truly cares about the families that come to the learning center. I appreciate the app where I can talk to the teachers and see when he eats and how much he eats and when he is changed. But really, what sealed the deal for me is that the infant room has a curriculum that they follow. It's not just them looking at your child. It's them working with your child to get them to the next developmental step. You don't have to take my word for it. See for yourself. By taking a visit, I bet you'll be enrolling your kid too.

I also now have a 8 year old(as of today), and as well they have always taken care of him since he has been there. He is currently doing virtual learning from his elementary here, and the staff helps SO much with his school since i cant be there with him. They go above and beyond, and even the teachers back at the elementary can tell how much they do for him just by on zoom meetings. I honestly don't know where my family would be without having the Goddard school. And most props to the owner Sarah, for being the most involved, caring person there. I am positive the Goddard is the way it is, because of her being such a great leader. I give the Goddard a 100, not a 10 =).

Couple of weeks ago their Director quit, and she fired other employees the same day she quit which then met that they could not have this location open anymore and they let all their staff out to dry to answer all the questions that the children can no longer attend there and had to find other places for their children to go. They teach my 4 year old to work on life skills and being independent, they show love, support and guidance. The teachers are amazing and the before and after school helpers are very loving. It is faith based so my daughter learns about the Bible, sings Christian songs and learned to pray. They have a letter, shape, color, word and bible story of the week that the teacher emails to the parents before hand. There is a main teacher and assistant teacher in my daughters class. Before her preschool class time she usually has 1-2 helpers watching her class, then after class she has 2-3 helpers watching the group(sometimes more). There are a lot of people to watch you child, which is important. You have to provide your own morning snack and lunch, but this is perfect for us because my daughter is a very picky eater. The school provides the afternoon snack. I trust the teachers and helpers at this school. I brought my daughter from another commercialized preschool that wasn't taking care of her and I can say with confidence that this school is taking care of her everyday she is there. I know she is in good hands and I can see her growing and developing each day. I know she will be ready for kindergarten through this preschool.
