I'm pretty sure that's not an official Montessori technique? Which I was never told during the meeting in which we were asked to leave the school. Hmm, My heart is broken this school feels it's okay to humiliate and shame children. If this is how the "Head of the School" behaves I can only imagine what the limbs are up to. It's unfortunate this is what he's going to remember about all the time he had at your school.

They are so structured and nurturing. He excelled in academics. He was reading before 5 and after the Kinder program here, he was far ahead of other children his age. (which we did not realize until 1st grade). The director helped us locate schools with programs fitting for his GT level. He is wonderful in every aspect, from staying in touch with us and offering suggestions even after we were no longer attending the school. His teachers were amazing, patient and learned how he individually learned. They are a true Montessori school and not a glorified daycare. We miss everyone there truly and wish they had options thru high school. Our son was his best self when attending school here. They are a family business with professionalism beyond.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this school. The entire staff is caring, well-organized, and provides excellent structure--both academically and socially. We've seen significant growth in our daughter's development since she started. Our youngest will be joining the toddler class next month, and we're excited for her to begin her journey at the school as well. The administration is highly organized, communicates regularly with parents, and does an outstanding job maintaining a positive and structured environment. We're truly grateful to be part of this school community and would highly recommend it to other families.

Our oldest completed the primary program with Ms. Suba and Ms. Meena, who were absolutely fantastic. He transitioned smoothly into first grade at our local public elementary school, where he is thriving. Our youngest has been with Ms. Amanda, along with Ms. Antonette and Ms. Carrington, for two years and has gained remarkable independence and confidence. Thanks to their Montessori education at West Montessori, both of our children have become independent thinkers and risk-takers. It truly is a Montessori environment where the teachers are experts in their field. The leadership is equally impressive; the director, Ms. McAnelly, and the assistant director, Ms. Nasrin, are kind, professional, and understanding. With only four classrooms, the school feels like one big family. The fact that every staff member knows us personally creates a deep sense of safety and belonging, which has always been our top priority. What makes West Montessori special for our family: Family & Community Involvement: The school goes above and beyond to keep parents involved through special monthly traditions. We've cherished the "Mommy dates," "Daddy dates," and "Grandparent dates" for holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and even Rodeo Day. These events make us feel like active participants in our children's school life. Global Awareness & Public Speaking: We love how the curriculum embraces and celebrates diverse cultures. My oldest would come home eager to share the traditions of Diwali or the Lunar New Year. A true highlight was the kindergarten graduation, where every child gave a speech about a particular country they had studied. It was incredible to see that level of confidence and global knowledge at such a young age. Enrichment & On-Site Services: Beyond the classroom, they offer a fantastic range of activities such as Soccer Shots, yoga, dance, Spanish, cooking classes, and more. It is also incredibly convenient and supportive that they allow on-site speech therapy for children who need that extra bit of help. We feel very fortunate to be part of this school. If you're looking for a caring, expert-led, close-knit community for your children, we highly recommend West Montessori!

Communication at this place is the thing that irks me most, if there is one thing that really gets me upset is when people have poor communication skills. On today 1/14/2026 I had an altercation with a teacher. Mind you prior to my son switching to this woman class I had bad vibes about her as she is a room monitor that I have never seen smile in the hallways and she seems to be in a bad mood. If you don't want to work with kids get another job. I hate that. Anyways my son is developmentally delayed. So although he is potty trained he tends to have accidents every now and again. They transitioned my child to another class I thought this was based on learning as I was never informed the child had to be fully potty trained and no accidents. I've Spoken to the teacher and she didn't mention that either, on Wednesday when I dropped off my son I even confirmed he had just used the restroom and he had on a fresh pull up/w underwear. She said okay. On Thursday my older son took him in to school, by this time my son had been in the class 3 days so far...I send my son in to take him to class and my son comes back out with him. He says the teacher says that he must be wearing underwear only, shocking because I was just there yesterday and the teacher never said that to me. I go inside and I can already feel her sense of attitude. I tell her I can bring extra pull ups or underwear in case he has an accident and this person looks at me and says who would help him change into the new underwear as we don't provide that type of assistance in this class. This is a whole daycare... even elementary schools kids have accidents. At this point I'm super irritated because of her passive aggressive attitude and basically her saying if my son would have an accident there would be no assistance in being changed. My thing is even kids at that age don't wipe or sometime was their hands wells so you don't offer assistance to these little kids. I then asked her not to single my child out by having him returned to the car and that she could have requested I come in and we could have had the conversation or called me. But of course she went snazzy and said "I didn't single your son out." but that's exactly what you did by removing him from the class. Then when I attempted to communicate do she just brushed me off like whatever and well I'm not proud but I did in fact go off. The teachers name is Ms.Niajah... also normally love Ms PaMona but I didn't like that her employee wasn't checked for lack of communication, her rude comment about who would help him if he did have an accident and her blatant passive aggressive attitude. if you can't communicate effectively there is no way you should be running a classroom and to the teacher fix your attitude or find a new place to work. I'm tired of people working in places like this just for a paycheck but really you aren't even a people person. I interviewedother daycares now because they said I did cuss and there were students around. Which I am deeply sorry for, but it's my child and when you have an attitude about my child or I see you being mean spirited against my child I'm not going to just sit there and say nothing. It's a schools job to effectively communicate and even Ms. PaMona said they dropped the ball with communication yet I'm the problem.

Now that we're considering child care this one automatically came to mind. We toured this past Saturday right after touring Katy Kids. First impression - Wow! They have several buses, covered parking, shaded playgrounds, a splash pad and it looks extremely clean and professional the moment you step inside. The lobby staff was very welcoming when we arrived for our appointment. We signed in and Idalis the Education Director came to greet us. I liked how she interacted with CJ and her level of patience while he was running all over the place. She showed us around the center and gave us a great overview of the enrollment process, schedule, weekly/ monthly activities, cafeteria, classrooms, teachers and interactive systems in place. My son REALLY loved the science/math lab. She was shocked he already knows his planets has started reading. Look, I was impressed and honestly I don't impress easily. I mean they have a full time cook/chef and full kitchen! She took her time and answered every question I had. She completely gave us the reassurance we needed. As a parent - that's pivotal. I can not over state that enough. I just want my son to be safe and thrive. Lastly, we discussed pricing. Surprisingly , it was less expensive than I thought. Although it's twice what we paid our private baby sitter weekly and more expensive than the previous option down the street I can certainly see where it goes and confidently say it appears to be worth it. Plus educators and vets get a discount so that's cool ! Once you see how they are structured you're going to want the best for you little one. I called one other option nearby on Longenbaugh but the price was $25 more a week and honestly I can't see it getting any better than Ivy Kids.

It's clear that feedback is always mutually beneficial, leading to the best possible experience for my children. When I have had concerns, they have been typically addressed with thoughtfulness and care. If I feel there is an issue, the staff is quick to correct, and get to the root problem. The one area I could see for improvement would be around daily photo consistency. There are some days where the photos are flowing in, and others leaving us wondering what our children did for the day. It's nice to pair our conversations with them to photo proof. I would love to see more frequent daily photos so I can get a better, more consistent glimpse into my children's day and see their activities. I understand the staff is busy, and I want to emphasize that I'm looking for a smooth, efficient way to update this without it becoming an annoyance or a significant burden on their daily routine. Are they patient and understanding? Do they keep my child safe? Does she feel loved? If a daycare can do that, I am happy. But if they can do more? Well, then I'm ecstatic, over the moon happy! Copperfield KinderCare is an exceptional facility. My daughter has come home with new information about the world around her every day. Positive, useful information. They do not sit on their laurels here but instead are always moving forward, always introducing new material. The other day my mouth hung open when SuzieQ told me confidently that a week has 5 and 2 days in it for a total of 7 days. She's not even 3&1/2 yet. Or when upon seeing firefighters at the Koala Kolaches, immediately recognized them, walked up and told them, "Sometimes peoples have fires... and sometimes you have to put water on the houses, and sometimes you have to rescue." They invite community members to come and talk to the kids. They've had famous soccer players, High School cheerleaders and bands, police officers, fire departments, etc... I've heard of this in grade school, but preschool???? WOW... The school offers additional modules designed to enrich your child's experience. Ones I know of are Music, Soccer, Early reading, and Cooking. SuzieQ is so proud of her creations and every Thursday she brings home something she made herself. They have calendars that let you know if it is a special day at school, and my daughter absolutely loves looking at the calendar and asking what the theme of the day is. Mystery snack day is every Tuesday and it is an incentive getting ready in the mornings when she would rather stay cuddled with mommy and daddy. It smells amazing! I know a place with lots of diapers can sometimes get stinky, so I appreciate that they clean often and have smell good stuff that keeps it nice and inviting. It's the little things that add up. Like how they take fun pictures, impromptu. For fun one day, they created a fall themed background and took pictures of the kids with fall wreathes on their heads. NO CHARGE!!! They also have a basket of crackers on the way out the door. Much appreciated by mommies who forgot an end of day snack for kids to munch on the way home. Perhaps the single most important thing they have done is listen. We had one small concern. Within a week of addressing it, the director Diane took action and resolved our concern. She has thanked us on several occasions for bringing it to her attention. I don't think you can have a better relationship than that. No place is perfect, everyone can and WILL make mistakes, but a director that understands that and welcomes feedback so she can effect positive change is rare indeed. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and we love the staff, Jessica is always smiling and the other teachers are too. There are a lot of choices around here, I could easily have chosen someplace else. I am so grateful that God guided us in the right direction.

The Goddard school has been more than a blessing to my family. My almost 2 year old, has learned so much from being here since he was 3 months old. I also now have a 8 year old(as of today), and as well they have always taken care of him since he has been there. He is currently doing virtual learning from his elementary here, and the staff helps SO much with his school since i cant be there with him. They go above and beyond, and even the teachers back at the elementary can tell how much they do for him just by on zoom meetings.
