After reviewing what my dentist had tried, and my mention that the dentist stated oral surgeons have access to better anesthetics, Dr. Winston gave me 3 shots, which almost immediately took me completely out of pain, and after giving the shots time to numb everything, he took what felt like a minute or two, at most, to remove the troublesome tooth. I called him a miracle worker! The office also called me an hour or so after I got home to check on me, which was appreciated. That's a no no and they also said that was only for an exam. Their next appointments for extractions were three weeks later. So six weeks for someone with an infection. I was told about Dr Levintov's office in Howell. Decided to go.instead of making me come in for two different appointments one for an exam and one for the extraction, they told me they could do everything in one visit. I wanted sedation. The office staff was very accommodating,kind, informative, spotless and everything was explained upfront. Dr Levintov came in, he went over my x-ray with me, explained it all and saw that I was very nervous. Before I knew it I was asleep and awake. I had absolutely no pain afterwards. I was in shock. I've had many extractions and always have pain after. You should have no hesitation in using this office. He is an excellent surgeon and someone I will be using in the future if need be.

The most recent extraction was super quick, I thought he just started and it was over already! No pain either time! She was very rough and matter of fact and when you are awake during oral surgery this kind of attitude is not helpful to the patient. Dr. Rosenbaum is very skilled and really great for someone who has anxiety. Also, at this office I once had to wait a while and the receptionist gave me a starbucks gift card which was so thoughtful. So many times when waiting at Dr. offices the receptionist never even acknowledges that you are waiting but here they are really great. Its the little things like that that make an experience memorable. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the 1st oral surgeon I went to here was not very nice. For example, when I asked her "is it going to hurt?" She responds "well. It wont feel good!". Sorry but that is not helpful at all. Also grounded my tooth all the way to the root to tell me I may need a root canal. Then when she filled it she over filled it and made my tooth break. And haven't heard from them since. I called and left messages over and over still no call back. Now I have an attorney for malpractice. Terrible.
