Since we elected a new board, our club is back on track in providing educational opportunities for the public. The previous board was using the clubs non profit status to open up their own honey business, they sold honey for there own greed. I wish the new board success and hope the old board disappears, to never ever have their hands in the non profit cookie jar.

We were immediately impressed by the beautiful campus, and how clean everything was. We were so confident in what we saw that we put down a deposit that day, and our son started the following spring when he was two years old. Gaowa has been an incredible place for him. They nurtured his natural curiosity and love of learning, especially when it came to reading and math. He was reading before he turned four, and I truly believe his teachers played a huge role in fostering his love of reading, even bringing in chapter books just for him. When our son was four, we went through a period where he was having some behavioral challenges. Instead of blaming him or us, or making him feel like he was a "problem child," the teachers worked alongside us to give us tools to help him. They approached the situation with patience, compassion, and genuine care, and I'm incredibly thankful for the way they supported our family during that time. We put our daughter on the waitlist before she was even born. She attends Gaowa now, and we've made the decision to keep her there for TK instead of moving her to public school because the education and nurturing environment are exceptional. The teachers genuinely care about the children. They know each child as an individual and create an environment where kids feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Like any newer school, Gaowa experienced some growing pains in the beginning. There was more staff turnover than we would have liked during those early years. However, through all of that, the quality of the education remained outstanding, and over time the school has become much more stable. I am writing this review as a student of CLE…read more I would like to shine a light on CLE's small, close-knit and intimate community of both peers and mentors. This is by far the best feature of CLE. Every educational institute is different and depending on your needs, CLE could be the perfect fit for you, or it might not be. But if your problem lies in the realm of being anxious or being painfully shy--- or having a lack of friends and a support system--- then CLE could very well be the proper treatment for you. Let me explain: The Center, or the main office of CLE, is where all of our sessions are held. There is always a handful of staff and students at the center that I talk to when I'm there. I like to randomly pop into my advisers office to chat. He has my cards and drawings pinned up on his wall. I like to pop into one of my tutors room and ask him advice about my career and my friendships. I also like to hang out with my friends in the common room and make slap stick humor jokes but also more witty ones. Then there are the socials. You are allowed as many socials on your schedule as you want. I estimate there are about 12 hours of scheduled socials per week currently that each of us can pop into when we have time. They include the following: Disney social, Film group social, Friday Morning Social, which last for 3 hours and we go out to some place like the beach or the mall, Friday dinner social, community chill and lunch social, voice and piano social, Men's group social, and women's group social. At the apartments, most of us live with a roommate. We all live in the same apartment complex. This has allowed me and my closest friends to hang out at each other's places three times a week in addition to the socials. My roommate buys DVD's off of amazon for us to watch and cooks curry and pie every now and then to share with us. There are also a lot of food places in walking distance that I like to go to with my friends. The apparatus I just described is the method by which CLE provided their treatment to my anxiety, shyness and lack of a support system. I was painfully shy before I came to CLE and now I have many friends. That is a big change. As you can see, this is due to the community being, for lack of better phrase "intimately programmed into your daily life". Personally, I liken this aspect of CLE to a "junior version of university life"

Our first assigned BT never showed up. Then our next assigned BT showed up once and then never again. We messaged multiple people over the course of 3 weeks after our first session with the BT to find out what was happening and if anyone was going to show up again and nobody responded at all until we sent our final email informing them that we no longer wanted to pursue services with them. That one session went very well and there were no problems so i don't know why there was never any follow up.

They also take forever to answer your concerns. At first they tolled me they would give me updates every 6 months and they never did.I did a grevience with my insurance company and they completly lied about everything of course they dont want to loose clients or the insurance that pays them.Even our BCBA said that the company takes more than they can handle. Parents please research before you book with ALP.
