This mall has lots of shops, you can find such as Zara, H&M, Desigual, Karstadt fashion big brands. Also you can find a Saturn, and some restaurants and cofé. There are two different main entrances in this mall, one seem pretty boring, it make the mall just lack of personality. The other side which is near the Harry-Bresstau-Park. From there actually look pretty nice, I also like they interior design of the mall, it's really modern and simple. It has a really nice atmosphere here. For me, it seem to me actually not a bad place to shop at all. After that I could just sit here have a nice coffee and enjoy the nice atmosphere or just have a little walk inside the walk.

I remember the first time when I walked in this mall, it somehow give me a feeling that I walk in…read moresome grand casino, the whole design inside the mall, quite castle like, just like its name. On the ceiling, there alway are fishes illumination show going on, quite weird and cool at the same time. Well, somehow also help people relax. I noted that there are couple design are related to water, I think that probably the them there are going for, quite special and identical. Das Schloss is so big compared with other malls in the center of Berlin, but it got most the cool shops, it is quite nice place to shop. After the shopping, you could always visit their food corner to have a drink or have a meal, the place looks cool. The U-bahn station has a way directly take you inside the mall, you could also just take the bus to get here, there bus stop for this. For me, I think Das Schloss is a not bad place to do shopping. It is in nice location, got many things around. It's just a bit far for front the center, I don't really come here that often, only when I looking for some shops only here got or simply I close by. If I just want to shop, there are much closer, bigger, and better shopping malls around in the center of Berlin.

This is a decent shopping mall in Steglitz. All of the usual stores are here: H&M, Esprit, Media…read moreMarkt etc. They also have one of Berlin's few Apple stores, Mac House. The way it's laid out, it seems quite small and intimate. But it's not - there are loads of shops here. It can get very busy on weekends. Very convenient for public transportation, there's an U-Bahn station right outside. It's not bad if you're in the area, but it's not worth taking a special trip here.

The Europa-Centre is a shopping centre in Berlin, it is a fairly decent size and includes eateries…read moresuch as Vapiano and KFC. It's located directly adjacent to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church so the location is reasonable. The mall is slightly hard to navigate with very few employees around, and only two lifts, both of which are close to each other but not close enough you can press a button and wait for the next one, the lifts overall are quite slow. The mall does have some nice features such as a market outside, and a nice square where you can sit outside if you ate at Vapiano for example, and a water feature inside. Probably a lack of shops also doesn't do this place any positives, and the number of shops and even places to eat is much smaller than most other shopping malls I've seen around the city, such as the Mall of Berlin. This isn't the best of places to shop, and probably not somewhere one should come out of their way for, it has a new nice water features and an excellent branch of Vapiano and sadly that is about it, also frustratingly the toilets are downstairs (they do have a pretty frightening stair-lift) but of course you have to also pay 50 cents each for this. Due to what I've mentioned, the Europa Centre deserves a two star rating.

Potsdamer Platz Arkaden is one of the many shopping malls in the German capital of Berlin, it is…read morelocated just around the corner from the Mall of Berlin, the latter being in a much better, central location in Postdamer Platz, close to two metro stations and being a larger and more modern mall alltogether. Potsdamer Platz Arkaden in my opinion really is a big down compared to the other nearby mall, as despite being a decent size over three floors, I find the overall selection of stores to be a little restrictive, for example there isn't even a Starbucks here, albeit that is the same with the Mall of Berlin, and there is a Starbucks on the street leading up to the mall and many others in the Postdamer Platz area so perhaps one right inside, in the heart of the mall, as they have in Alexa for example isn't needed here. There are a few large flagship shops such as H and M, Mango and Wohrl and as I recall Rewe and O2 have a branch here, but overall the selection if restrictive and with a lack of maps around the mall, the layout is also something I found to be confusing, I ended up going up and down every floor looking for a Starbucks only to find out, it is located just outside opposite Pizza Hut and Rewe which was frustrating, there also was a lack of staff and help desks too. In my opinion, Potsdamer Platz Arkaden will always come second to the Mall of Berlin mainly down to it being insuperior in near enough every way, being smaller, less modern and having a more confusing layout with less people to ask for help/maps etc, sadly deserving a single one star rating.

Want to kill time before dinner?…read more Literally a 2 minute walk from the moment you step out of Potsdamer Platz station, Arkaden is a very nice shopping complex with many stores spread over three floors. We easily wasted an hour or so window shopping here. All that walking in Berlin convinced my friend she needed a new pair of sneakers to take back home to the US. She didn't find it here, but she was directed by the helpful staff to another mall. You won't go hungry here as the food options range from full service restaurants to small cafes where you can take a short break. Caffe e Gelato was busy as a bee: the ice cream line moved quickly and I guess in Berlin, even when it's raining, its always ice cream time!

The cobble stone makes it challenging to walk on so make sure to bring sensible walking shoes. There are discount shopping stores here such as TK MAXX (that is not a typo) if you made it to this side of town and in need of additional luggage, jackets, toys, and discounted treats (chocolates with alcohol). Several options for bargain shoes as well. They sell LAND ROVER brand boots at the shoe store near the grocery store. If you would like to visit this area without any desire to go shopping but instead would like to do a neighborhood stroll / a nice morning jog : this cobblestone will surely challenge your single leg strength in comparison to the flat terrain / side walks further up the streets into the neighborhoods. Relatively safe area and generally populated with families and older retired folks. Not much of an issue if one is travelling alone and have concerns about safety.

Wow! This is a ginormous bookstore! Four floors of books and more, with information kiosks…read morestaffed for any and all inquiries. I am floored by the amount of books, in every single category imaginable. Yes, they have a large children's section. There is a giant plush figure standing near a black pole in front of the children's books. I checked out each floor. I'm a sucker for novelty items, which they have plenty of. They sell multiple models of Polaroid cameras and film. Tons of calendars in different formats. Their vinyl room is on the ground floor, in the back. The store is sleek, clean, and organized. If you're in Berlin, I recommend visiting this store.

Great bookstore! Plus, a lot of everything else!…read more Dussmann's is an incredible bookstore. But, it is so much more than that. Beyond an insane collection of books, they also have tons of very unique novelty items that make great gifts or, something for yourself-- something that you never knew you needed. This shop is a multilevel business. They have multiple floors with books and other items on every floor. Plus, it is just stuffed full with an insane amount of books covering all varieties to quench your reading experience. As mentioned, they are much more than just an incredible bookstore. They also have a great selection of vinyl. So, for all of you vinyl enthusiasts, this is a great place to go and find that unique piece of music that you've wanted either very recently or all the way back to when you were young. It's really hard to explain just how much this store offers. I mean, if you're looking for a specific book, it's more than likely they will have. And, if they don't, they can most likely get it for you. Dussmann's great places to sit around and take a look at that book you may be interested in purchasing. Or, you can go there and have interesting discussions with your friends or family about literature and/or anything else. This is truly a great shop! Not only do you never know what you will find, but, if you're looking for something very specific, more than likely you'll be able to find it here.
