Amazing food - I recommend the Chilli Prawns (and as this come from someone that hates seafood - they have to be pretty special) the restaurant is small - so book in advance to be guaranteed a seat. Have been here over 20 times now - and have never had a bad dish. They have looked after us everytime we go - and helped me make my boyfriends surprise birthday bash really special.

Great food, great staff, a total pleasure to visit…read more We visited on a sunday, for the buffet, which came highly recommended. One of the best buffet's i've ever had. Not the normal fill your plate, you basically order a selection from the menu, and they provide half servings, they are happy for you to literally eat as much as you like, but i have to admit i struggled with more than a few dishes. Can wholeheartedly recommend the Hot & Sour soup, easily one of the best i've ever tried. This restaurant is a real gem.

I have only been here once, for a friends birthday. The food was very nice and the service was good but I thought it was a bit too expensive.

A quiet unassuming restaurant somewhat overlooked (have been living 5 mins away for 2 years.. and…read moreonly just "spotted" it) which is both a good thing (it's always quiet) and a bad thing (maybe a bit TOO quiet) It has a fantastic varied menu that's not too expensive. I can highly recommend their Sea Salt and Chilli Squid Starter ! and for those of you not keen on Squid they do it as a Prawn variety as well. Wide choice of dishes but be aware.. the words "Portion control" are not in their Vocabulary. Huge portions served by polite and courteous waiters. Interior Decor is ok.. bright and colourful (if Violet is your thing!) but not too cluttered or fussy. If you're in the area and want good food at a reasonable price then I guess you could do worse than this place. Now my "Local" Chinese.. oh and apparently they also do carry out as well ;p

We probably could have ordered more of the Dim Sum platter, loved it. The Xiao along Bao were great. The salt and pepper baby squid was some of the best calamari I've had! So good. We ordered the foie gras prawn toast and probably should have ordered without the foie, it had a strong flavor that I didn't think paired with the prawn toast. The prawn toast was delicious on its own and could have been ordered without Fois gras. The vermicelli was super flavorful. The duck rolls were good. In the end I felt like we may have ordered 1-2 dishes too much but I was happy with all the flavors we tasted and wouldn't have changed a thing!! Loved that I asked for a wine recommendation, and I was asked what kind of wine I like. The recommended wine was only 10£! I could have been upsold to a super expensive glass but I was offered something in my taste range with a price I was happy with (didn't know until the check came how much the glass was). Classy restaurant, excellent service, delicious food. Oh and they preserve all their bottles of wine in a cool way, they pour from a sealed bottle to maintain freshness. Every glass tastes like the first! Recommend this place 100%. It's a little pricey but service is first class and food is delicious
