I'm so glad we chose the Jade since we were told it was smaller portions compared to the other menu. We barely finished! Appetizers were: Mandarin Chicken Wings, Firecracker Pork Ribs, Sesame Prawn Toast, Smoked Chicken, and Hoi Choi. We ate everything because it was all delicious. Before the main dishes: Crispy Aromatic Duck, they will ask you if you want it shredded, which was nice. Tasted great and I liked how you got to build you own duck wrap with bits of cucumber and green onion. You did have to put the sauce on it as we felt the duck didn't have its own flavor but it was still good! For the main dishes: Chicken with Black Pepper Honey Soy Sauce, Crispy shredded Chilli Beef, Lychee, Honey Lemon crispy King Prawns, and Special Fried Rice The black pepper chicken was really flavorful but eating continuously is just a buildup of all that black pepper so even though I wanted to keep eating it, you had to sample other dishes or eat rice to calm the black pepper down. The king prawns were really good, very sweet! The special rice was tasty, loaded with bits of different meats and shrimp. I didn't care for the crispy beef, to me it tasted like eating pork rinds with sauce drizzled over it.

Its a great place to head with a large group as they are really quick at getting the food out at the same time. None of that waiting around to start as someone still hasn't got their plate. The crispy duck is out of this World in here and really good value for money. I usually have a good few different starters and then get stuck into the duck and pancakes for a main.

The staff are really friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Its not too expensive. The downfall is that the restaurant is situated opposite a public carpark that charges 24/7 so you would have to pay for parking if you visited this restaurant no matter what time of day it was. The restaurant also has a takeaway service, which I have tried a number of times and have been really pleased with it. You also get given an additional discount if you pay by cash when you pick up your takeaway. Overall a nice restaurant to visit if you want good quality chinese food.

The restaurant is right in the Town Centre and this is good when it comes to going home after a few drinks as there are taxis, buses and even a Train station, all within walking distance. As you go into the Outlet, a lift is provided for transportation to the top level where the restaurant is situated, the ground level does take aways. The restaurant is always really clean and this include the toilets. A good place for special occasions

They have a nicely decorated restaurant and will also do takeaway (although not a delivery service). However, this is the kind of restaurant that is worth eating on site. They have a fair number of tables and the whole decor is tasteful. The staff are extremely hospitable and lucky the food also lives up to these great standards. You may pay a little more for some dishes than in other takeaways in town, but it's worth the slight price increase. The sot shelled crab starter is a staple favourite when I eat here and they will also serve whole lobster or crab with 24 hours notice. Aside from that, expect a good range of dishes you would expect on the menu and it is nice to see that they will not add any msg, excessive salt or fat to their cooking. The wine list is more than acceptable, but it is really the food that will leave the best memories in your mouth. Seeing as it is close to the station, there is no reason why anyone can't come eat here. It is well worth the extra effort and an excellent reason to come to Burgess Hill.

Someone who cooks excellent Chinese food, that is. Service is attentive and friendly, prices are reasonable (especially for a posh little Surrey village). The chef can do wonderful things with tofu. Definitely recommended!

I would not notice this restaurant or given it a try, if my friends had not recommended it. Schezuan kitchen is truly an authentic restaurant, and you really need to appreciate spice to truly enjoy your food here. The food can be hot, but not ever whelming. I tried the emperors chicken, and the special fish dish, and it really brought something new to my spice palette, coupled with plain jasmine rice and chinese vegetables, and a bottle of chinese beer, really brought this meal home. Like the motherland home. It is not expensive, in fact quite value for money, and it is definitely a no nonsense restaurant, it is the food that matters. I would come here again for some whole hearty authentic chinese food.

Not too oily, not too spicy, they cook fresh food into a perfect blend of traditional Chinese flavours, as well as adding a few novel dishes of their own making for originality. And as such, it's no wonder that whenever I drive past on a Friday night the restaurant is always packed! While the restaurant is nothing special in its own right, the food speaks for itself... And, if you're into Chinese food and excellent service, then I'd highly recommend this establishment to you.
