Was able to catch an early afternoon Rom-Com movie, "Solo Mio" on a Saturday. We entered the lobby…read moreand you have to have a bag-check. It's been awhile since I've been to this theater and remembered that the reclining seats weren't as comfortable as Alamo Drafthouse's. Well I think they had a remodel since then because the seats were very cushiony, seemed newer as the seats weren't worn down and the width of the seats and spacing between seats seemed ample enough that you're not going to bump your neighbor. The tray tables are also well-placed so that your table isn't impeding your view. I think it was well-designed. It was a smaller theater with only 5 rows but the terraced rows were low enough that someone walking in the lower row won't impede your view as well. The theater wasn't super cold as some places are where I'm using a hoodie and jacket in the middle of summer. Folks in line and around us still brought their blankets, LOL! To note, there's a $5 Santikos ticket deal where you can buy these tickets during the last few showings of a featured movie. They're only available for purchase at the theater according to the onscreen ad. Concession stands are downstairs and there's a bar. The screen showed a clip where you can order your food and have it brought to you for a small service fee. There was also a message of knowing where to exit and being vigilant with your surroundings or something to that effect. It's always good to be street-smart these days. After the movie, we exited and there was a Sheriff's Deputy that was outside and looking at his phone. I figured he was going to be on guard today or perhaps the weekend since a major world event occurred today that I expected ramped up security in public places.

Saw the Minecraft movie here. And the theatre was super clean. Bathrooms amazing. I love that this…read moreplace has movie memorabilia. We had popcorn, extra butter, and a freestyle soda, diet cherry vanilla Dr Pepper. The ticket taker was super nice and understood we had a larger group coming in. The concession stand gentleman was super quick. The clean up crew was very quiet entering the movie towards the end and I enjoyed this theatre.

Okay, if you're a theater connoisseur my rating will have you laughing, but if you just like a…read moremovie and popcorn, this is a wonderful 4-screen theater (for me, it's only 8-9 minutes from my front door) with acres of parking (literally). Admission is dirt cheap (compared to San Antonio theaters) and the Manager's Special is an extra-large popcorn with all the refills you want and 2 medium drinks for a reasonable price. When I go alone, I have them fill one drink (placed inside the second cup) and butter the popcorn. For action movies I usually ask the snack bar personnel if there is a slow spot where I can get a popcorn and drink refill and they always tell me where there is one or just say you don't want to miss a minute. No problem there, as I just get my second drink and a popcorn refill on the way out at the end of the movie. At home, I share the popcorn with my dog, who does every trick I've taught her for more and I'm sure she gives the popcorn 5 stars. Very friendly staff. You can't get more "hometown" than this.

There are four things that make this place what it is. One, the popcorn is superior to most and…read morethey're not stingy with butter. Two, the prices for tickets are unbeatable. Third, the concession is very affordable, much more so than AMC/Cinemark. Lastly, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The 5th and elusive star is missing due to the unbelievably sticky floors in the theaters. Please mop this last issue.

Went to watch the movie "Michael" with my friends on a Sunday afternoon. We snagged our seats &…read morebegan to order online after scanning in the code. Last time I was here, we ordered from laminated menus & a server took our order by hand. Now your order is designated by your seat number so the order goes straight to the kitchen & I guess a server? Not sure because a server came up to us asking if we were asking about Bloody Marys twice and we told him no. Another one put the iced water on my friend's table even though she hadn't even ordered anything? I don't know where the disconnect is occurring but they need to work it out if this is a brand new system. I ordered my regular Carnivore pizza and saw you could select or omit your ingredients. We couldn't before. Pizza took about 18 minutes and I asked the server for more napkins which he brought later. This new pizza wasn't a thin crust like before and didn't have a zesty sauce as before. I was disappointed because I usually look forward to their thin, crispy pizzas and would consider just ordering that to go if I could. There's an 18% Service Fee added to the check so you don't have to tip at the end. Too bad you can't alter it because the service may be poor? Also, at the end of the movie, they'll text you "WHEN THE FILM ENDS, you have 20 mins to close your tab b4 it auto-closes with 5% tip." WHAT???!! I had my phone on silent so I noticed it when I got to my car & told my friends which they already closed. Both of those reasons I probably won't order a Carnivore pizza again. It was fun while it lasted to have a Mimosa & Pizza. Adding extra "tips" on top of the mandatory "Service Fees" just seems excessive. I can see someone overlooking this after a movie ends if their phone is off, if they have to use the restroom, saying bye to friends, etc. JUST REMEMBER TO CLOSE YOUR TAB BEFORE THE 20 MINUTES ARE UP AFTER THE MOVIE ENDS AND BEWARE OF THE 5% TIP YOU CAN DECLINE!! Bathrooms are clean, seats are reclined but I'd prefer a higher recline for my legs and so did my friends but I get that it has to be flexible for all heights. Lastly, watch where you park because there's a bar across the parking lot below. My friend came back to a scratched up bumper we think was from someone who was drunk!
