Having not been to a buffet in quite some time, I was feeling ecstatic at seeing all the options. Looking for my favorite dish, lo mien noodles, I spotted the dish and headed straight for it. Lo mien noodles really hit the spot for me. The great thing about buffets is the more than one trip. My second serving consisted of a fried banana, chicken on a stick, and a chicken wing. Jenny was my server. She was pretty and very observant keeping my glass of water full. Thank you so very much. That means a lot to me. Keep up the good work. The food, the restaurant, and the staff were amazing and I highly recommend Asian Buffet. Thank you for feeding me. 0:-)

The really tall waitress has no manners and just raises her voice when she does not understand what was being said. Tonight, we sat in the room behind the counter, and she was so hateful to the customers, I am shocked they stayed. Their son, maybe 15 at most, ended up explaining what drinks they were requesting for a refill. When a child has to intervene because of the language barriers on both sides, that becomes a HUGE problem in my book, your job is to be there and help make their experience worth the outrageous amount of money being charged. SHAME ON HER! Before my husband and I could make it home, our stomachs both started cramping. Date night was spoiled by the food poisoning from our dinner this evening, while paying over $40 for dinner for 2. Just hoping to make sure no one else goes through this.

I hadn't been to this location, let alone another Golden Corral, in years so, I was pleasantly surprised. The food quality was on par with any large scale buffet, dishes were served hot and there was a lot of variety. The customer service was incredible even though it is a buffet style restaurant I felt attended to and as though our waitress who was walking around clearing tables and making small talk actually enjoyed working there. The standouts for me were the fried shrimp, the carved roasted turkey, the fried white fish and the mashed potatoes with gravy. If you're looking for an under $20 buffet with a lot of quintessential "American" dishes then I would t skip out on Golden Corral. Yes, at times it can seem outdated but all in all if it isn't broke then don't fix it! In my opinion the only thing I wasn't too impressed with was the dessert selection, there's a lot to choose from but nothing that really stood out to me. I wish the cakes were sliced differently because the classic cake slices were messy and I would have preferred them to be cut into little squares somehow for smaller portions. But the cheesecake with graham cracker crust was my favorite sweet I sampled.

Very little customer service interaction compare to the previous ownership. But the biggest thing here is the food is never refill at a timely manner. There are more empty food tray than there is food for customer. And when they do refill it up, it's very little portion. And they are selective with what they are refilling instead of refill all the empty tray. They are making us paid full dinner price but no food for us to enjoy. I hope management see this and resolve this because this place has so much potential.

The variety is impressive, ranging from traditional Chinese dishes and soups to sushi and hibachi. By far the best value is the choose-your-own hibachi-style buffet. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and made exactly the way you like it--very tasty! We love to slow down, enjoy the atmosphere and each other's company. We love that it doesn't echo, voices aren't carrying, and we can hold a conversation with each other while great music plays in the background. It's a small business, black owned, family owned (BossLady!!), and family working on site. I find being flexible and enjoying the amazzzzzing shrimp is worth it. Next time, they'll have what you think you need, or you'll find a new favorite. Restaurant Week is tough on small business participants, especially with the RW parameters and requirements, but we remained flexible and found a new favorite. It looked like many new customers were really excited to be there, and it's about the busiest I've seen it when we have been in. We dined during Restaurant Week, and ordered the Burnt Ends and Garlic Butter Shrimp. The Burnt Ends were SOOOO tender, and the flavor of the meat really shined, especially for a restaurant that specializes in seafood. Mac and Cheese is always good! But the garlic butter shrimp......I could eat that all day. The cheesesticks were delicious and the lemon cake dessert! We've also had the BOSS item on the menu, perfect fried shrimp, perfect air fried real potato fries, lemon pepper shrimp, corn on the cob, and we love them all, no complaints! Have patience, give Grace. The young people are very nice, quiet and kind. We've met at least 3 of the family who work in the front. They are really sweet and trying to do their best for you. I'm so glad to see them there!! These are the kind of businesses that I like to support and I think others should, too. Are you getting the best seafood in the city, the metro, and for hundreds of miles any direction? YES, you are. Are some young people working their family's hard fought business instead of doing what most people assume young people are doing?? YES. Owners that LOVE what they do....making people happy with their food, while doing what they love? YES! Those are the things that matter, and this restaurant deserves to be famous for the seafood, based on taste alone. And the young people will grow up, and they'll be better for having worked in the family business. Let's SUPPORT ownership, family employees and think beyond our tiny box.
