The restaurant is huge so if you go early you could easily walk in, but the benefit of the reservation was having a prime table set aside on the edge of the open-air restaurant.

This is a chef-driven restaurant I would seek out again if it were in any city in the world. The room is beautiful, the service is impeccable and friendly, and the food reflected the skill of a chef who knows a thing or two about Italy: perfectly cooked al dented pastas, respect for simple, fresh ingredients, balanced but indulgent flavors. If I lived in Santiago, I'd bring anybody here I wanted to impress; but don't feel you have to be dressed up or save it for a special occasion. We were casually dressed and treated like royalty.
