I was trying to find a place in the area that offered yoga and I happened to stumble across this place. I took my daughter in on Tuesday and today for the older kid's Zumba classes and she has enjoyed it so much! The instructor is high spirited and keeps her focused. They seem to be just starting out though so I feel like I need to spread the message because I want to see them succeed. I really think the place can be a huge asset to Enterprise but also I selfishly want them to do well so we can continue to go there. They offer pilates, yoga, self defense, zumba, kick boxing, and belly dancing. They also offer after-school Zumba classes for different groups of school age children and a tot yoga class on Tuesdays (during the day). The prices are really great if you get the punch card. My daughter and I could attend a class every week for what I used to spend on her attending one dance class a week at another Enterprise studio (which she didn't even enjoy - and which was a tense setting). My kid can't wait to go back. It's really helped her to blow off some energy after being stuck behind a desk all day and it keeps her out of the front of the tv. I plan on trying out some of the grown up classes next week.

After a visit to the gallery this summer, my friends flew back for a two day oil painting class this fall. Kathleen did a demo of a floral set up before lunch, then we did our own paintings in the afternoon. We already know how to paint but she introduced us to her unique style and was very helpful. We did bring our own supplies as she gives you a list of what will be needed. She might have classes for beginners, would just need to ask.

This is my home pole studio, & I average about 2-3 days/week here (wish my schedule allowed for…read moremore). The studio has an excellent dark/sexy aesthetic with flattering lights. They've been adding tons of new classes to the schedule since the owner Shanaine took over (Summer 2024). She has put a lot of work & heart into the studio & fosters a warm, welcoming, & inclusive community that is amazing for beginners, experienced dancers, or visitors (as a beach & military town, we get lots of visitors & we love it!). Highly recommend. My personal fitness philosophy is to find a physical activity that is intrinsically fun & it will never feel like work or a chore. We are so lucky to have a pole studio here in Panama City. I always have a blast at Steel Roots, it truly is my play time, & I have been able to get incredibly fit in the meantime. I lost 20 lbs last year when I was able to consistently show up for pole. It's such a good workout, & so much fun, you don't even realize how good of a workout you are getting!
