Had a nice mini fridge, tv, coffee maker, a table to eat at, a desk, and in the bathroom they had makeup remover wipes to prevent people from ruining the nice white wash clothes. They also had the softest sheets I've ever seen at a hotel. This place is right on the water and across from a gas station and dollar general. It is 5-7 mins from Coconuts for your bar/partying needs. Very close to several small bars and restaurants. Great location. They have boats and kayaks to rent if you'd like! Also the woman at the desk offered to pick us up if we couldn't find a ride and drank too much. Which luckily we didn't need but I thought that was incredible customer service I never would've expected from a motel. Such a great place! Hope to be back

I am not sure where to begin with this place. Unfortunately, we don't have any other options but to stay here when we are in town visiting family. The woman who runs this hotel is BEYOND rude! If there were any competition in this city she would be out of business. On a positive side, the grounds of the property are nicely groomed, nothing fancy but cute! They offer a few different rentals, BBQ pits, and a nice sun dock. The rooms themselves are fairly clean (beyond a few hairs) but again nothing special. Our room had a very musty smell, loud air-conditioner, lack of towels, low functioning shower, and to top it off a fly swatter hanging in the bathroom! Positives in the room were a fridge and a nice TV. The worst part about this location is the woman who runs it- absolutely rude, inconsiderate, and down right nasty! This motel certainly has potential to be a decent spot on the lake but certainly has a way to go!!!!

At 4:00, they gave the guests cookies. The breakfast, which you order and they give you is also nice. There's a menu in the wall and it's completely COVID safe. The rooms are spacious. Mine had 2 beds. The bathroom had Neutragena products. There was a closet with an iron and ironing board behind the mirror. And mostly the beds were extremely comfortable. We found 2 charging stations next to the bed. They literally thought of everything. Refrigerator, microwave and large tv. Very clean and thoughtful.Best part: I didn't have to leave before 5:00 am for the race. I would stay at this hotel again.

You can tell it is family owned and they take pride in it. From the fully stocked pool towels, the spotless rooms, the clean fresh scent everywhere, and the well maintained facilities and amenities - nothing here has been allowed to slide. Everything is open longer than other hotels, the service is fast and friendly, outside is well lit and spotless. Chain hotels around here charge more, and offer much less. I highly recommend!

The maintenance/cleaning staff looked to have been part time carnival workers. The front desk staff not much better. They lacked in customer service skills at check-in and check-out. The large girl at checkout never spoke a word other than "would you like a receipt"..... The bedding is generally why we stay at Hampton Inn. Wow.....was this a disappointment. Poor mattress and pillows. Had I known all of this about the Sadalia location....I'd saved the $270 and stayed in my son's college dorm.....

Have been staying here for the last 5 years 3 to 5 nights at a time. The past few years I have…read moreneeded a handicap room on the first floor because the second floor handicap room you have to walk and carry everything the whole length of the building. So I booked the lower level in February for July and August and requested the room that I usually stay in. After driving 8 hours I go to check in and they gave my room to someone who insisted on the lower level and put me upstairs thinking I was too dumb to figure out what happened. They compensated me some after a lot of arguments and frustration but the first night I had to stay upstairs and move all of our belongings again. Why they have a handicap room 100 yards away from the elevator doesn't make sense. I hope they take my compensation out of the clerk's pay check but I have a feeling it was the manager that did it.
