Malyssa and staff were very helpful while I was navigating some unexpected life changes and I pushed my body too hard. When my symptoms (which I thought were just anxiety) got worse, they were prompt in getting me the testing I needed and took my symptoms seriously. I got my results a little over a week later and they provided the clarity that I needed, as well as recommendations and red flags to look out for. The office has made some really cool upgrades with their technology and I hope it serves patients better. read more

Forte - Family Practice Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Office experience was terrible. They make you wait long times even when you have an appointment. Not attentive and disregard concerns.

Oh my goodness, Dr. Sandra Rickard handled mine and my mom's ingrown nails like a true professional and somehow made the whole experience way less terrifying than I expected. She was cracking us up from start to finish! So funny that I forgot she was committing legal violence on my nails! Super caring, crazy knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. Honestly, someone give this woman a raise immediately! If toes could write thank you cards, mine would be sending you flowers. Highly recommend to anyone whose feet are acting out of character, go to her! read more

I miss my loving, sweet, old country type Dr. Gabroy. He listened to you, treated what ever ailed you and sent you on your way with a smile. I was able to call in for a refill and it was done right away, not... "you have to see the doctor with an appointment. He knew you, your family and was very caring. I miss you Dr. Gabroy read more

Doctors are great!! But Do NOT support the owner Dana Forte! I have been a patient at Forte Family Practice for 10 years and have gone through about 6 doctors. Most leave possibly because of how disorganized this company is. So many stories but today I drove 35 min to get to the appointment. Pulled up to the "old" office and there was a sign saying they moved! Not one call not one email nothing. Drive to the new one while on the phone with the office doctor said only one or two topics max....... Welp. Once again Disappointing! This company needs to be on the local tv station due to their lack of Service overall. These poor doctors. They never last long at this company . I'm hanging in there but if new don't come read more

I love this office the staff are always so nice to me and Malyssa is wonderful and so kind. The new office is really nice. The only beef I have is getting prescriptions that require pre-authorization it takes forever for them to get them approved but it's not all the doctor's office's fault, but it is a headache. read more

I started going to the Henderson location because of the poor quality of care at the Cheyenne location. Now I have to find a new primary because their office can't hire someone competent enough to pick up a phone. Myself and two other family members spent a whole day of calling back to back waiting on hold before we were forced to leave a number they could call back. It's been almost 2 weeks and despite leaving multiple numbers multiple times no one has gotten a call back. read more

Terrible customer service, great doctor. Sadly they don't seem to care as medical professionals that is a deal breaker. Find a better place. read more

My story with this office was very short lived... I liked the Nurse practitioner there, she was very helpful however the staff was not helpful and rude. I scheduled an appointment with the Nurse practitioner and when I got there I was told I should pay the balance because the insurance did not pay the full amount. I asked to see the doctor then I'll talk to the insurance to see why they didn't pay. There wouldn't let me see the doctor until I paid. I rescheduled for the next day. Talked to the insurance and realized my deductible was not met. Went back the next day to make a partial payment so I was given this form to write my credit card information on it. I didn't want to put my credit card info on a form that anyone can have access to. I rather just make a payment they said either I make the full payment or use the form. I refused and left. Today I'm checking my bill so I can pay it in full and see them charging me a no show fee for the day I showed up and was refused service! read more

I've been going to this office for a handful of years and I've finally decided to switch my care to a different doctor. Honesty, I should've done it a long time ago. The turnover rate of doctors at this office is insane. Almost every time I call to make an appointment, the primary care doctor I've been assigned is no longer there. This is especially frustrating because I have a chronic illness that unfortunately a lot of doctors are not well versed in, so it requires me to constantly have to re-explain my entire medical history, educate doctors on my condition, argue about outdated practices that are no longer the standard of care for my condition...and ultimately receive no help. I will say that most of the people I've dealt with there are kind and mean well, but at this point I have to wonder why doctors keep leaving every six months. With turnover rates like that it's impossible to guarantee a good standard of care. read more

This is pointless. All the bad reviews mean nothing to them. I think they need better management. Been going to this practice this location for awhile, ended up getting a new PC. Dr Moore. Seems tired and not at all interested in her young patients care. Maybe Dr. Moore needs to touch up on some of her schooling, oh wait! They don't teach compassion! It's learned. Don't recommend this practice at all. read more

I've not usually had any bad experiences but my last visit will be the final. I book with female NPs as I have never had good experiences with males, so I had a follow up with my newly selected NP for a 7a appointment. Apparently this NP called out the night before and there was no communication with clients. They never actually told me upon arrival either, they just moved my appointment to their replacement, a male, to which I advised that is not acceptable and due to my job and job travel I was unable to reschedule at the time. The audacity of the front office staff to now charge me a cancellation fee is absolutely ludicrous because I didn't want to see the male replacement I was not made aware of prior to my appointment. SERIOUSLY, you all really need to understand the accommodation's that should be second nature when providing care. I am now officially on the hunt for a better medical team and service provider. Good riddance I guess! read more

Michael Yudez is the BEST and I hope to continue being able to see HIM! The location has fairly good parking and the reception area is ok- nothing too fancy but that's fine- . The woman who did my blood tests was VERY GOOD- she made the prcess painless and very quick! So please give her a raise and keep her-- wish I had her name-- . THANK YOU Michael Yudez!! read more

They're just so kind and caring. The staff is amazing. Christine is amazing! Thank you

So I just got established here and I thought the service and care were great. I checked in 15 minutes before my appointment (I had already done the paperwork by printing it from online the night before), I sat in the waiting room maybe 10 minutes, and the NP came in 10 minutes after that. She was straight to the point, already knew what she wanted to do and I was out of there. The office is a little outdated as well as some of their equipment, but I truly can't complain about the service I received. read more

Amazing care from Malyssa. She is so nice and really cares about patients. I highly recommend her. I honestly can say I get better care with her vs all my specialist. She never makes me feel rushed and this office is so lucky to have her. She gets things done in office during visits that I use to need appointments with specialist for. The front office might have some issues but it's well worth it if you get to be her patient. She is definitely a blessing and one of a kind with today's medical choices. read more

Doctor Yudez is their best asset here but the other doctor sadly did not take the extra attention to properly fill out my authorization for follow up on a questionable mammo I received so 4 weeks of going back and forth between the Imaging facility and this office . Finally the day of my imaging appt the paperwork was still incorrect and it took 3 visits that day to correct it. When I asked to speak to Malyssa she never showed her face for even 2 min... This shows they do not want my business or care about me. Female to female even... Very disappointed and will continue to seek a better place. Very unprofessional read more

Dr. Yudez is excellent but the office staff is absolutely horrible. Messages are NEVER returned. It seems like the office staff needs reminders that they should think of patients as family members and treat them accordingly. It is sad that a caring doctor is surrounded by such an uncaring staff. read more

Dr. Yudez is amazing. The staff however are horrible. Good luck getting a prescription (new or refill) handled properly. You can see a doctor, call for a refill, go in for a refill and it still won't be handled. Ridiculous. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My main dealing was with the Henderson location but the phone conversations where with the Cheyenne office. Wish I read the other reviews before going to this place. Initially went in for blood work. When I returned for the results, they didn't run the panels I initially had gone in for. They then provided a month supply of medication and advised they would submit for refill subscription but they did not. I returned a month later only for the doctor to not recall at all our previous conversation, and again stated would submit for prescription. I received a call from the pharmacy that it was on back order and they would reach out to the doctors office. I was now a month behind on the medication, and never received a call from the doctors office. I called them twice, left voicemails, submitted two emails via the patient portal and called another two times only to be told they would pass along the message to the doctor. Finally today I called again, they had me on hold as #1 on the line for 25 minutes so I requested a call back. When they returned my call, they placed me on hold them disconnected. I decided to go down to the office, the doctor I had been seeing was in the reception area but scurried in to the back when I advised the receptionist I needed to speak to someone. The receptionist asked me to take a seat instead of getting the doctor who clearly heard I was there. Ten minutes later a nurse comes to the lobby and tries to take me to the parking lot to have our conversation, when I stated I preferred to stay in the building-she became irate. I began discussing my concern and she voiced out loud for the patients of the lobby to hear my condition as well as the medication I was taking. It felt like a bullying tactic to get me to leave. She then stated I needed a manager not her and said she would go get one. She went into the reception area and argued with the receptionist for being called to deal with me and that she didn't get paid enough for that-to get someone else. I at this point approached the receptionist, advised her that I saw the doctor when I first walked in and the manner in which they handled this situation was completely unprofessional. I thanked her for her time and left. I have NEVER been more disappointed in a medical practice as i am right now. Aside from being a medical facility, it is a business and there should be a level of professionalism, Completely violated my privacy rights and failed to return multiple calls or address the issue of not attending to a patient. Do NOT go to any of these locations. Save yourself the headache. read more

This place is horrible!!! There is no follow through and I have waited weeks for a prescription. I have never had such bad care.

Great service. Had to have a test done. In and out without any problems. Hazel was great.

This office does not provide patient care. I will say that the doctors I have seen there were competent and helpful. HOWEVER, if the office won't communicate with patients or keep thorough records about things like referrals, prescriptions, follow up needs, test results, appointments, etc., then they really aren't providing patient care, are they? Multiple times my appointment has been cancelled at the last minute (sometimes AFTER I've actually shown up at the office!) with no warning, no apology, no attempt to reschedule. I must have called the office 20 times over the 3 months after my last appointment and I would rarely get a call back (cuz THEY DON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE). When I got a call back, the person would act like they had no idea what was going on (their notes would be minimal and incomplete), they would act like I'm the one who canceled my follow up (when THEY cancelled it!), they would promise another call back that NEVER EVER came (this happened to me at least 5 times!), and they were sometimes downright rude -- Melody was particularly snotty and unprofessional. Refusing to communicate with patients is unprofessional and negligent and it should not be allowed. read more

Dr Yudez is a good Doctor. The customer sevice and back office is the worst. They never answer a phone call

I've been a long time patient of Dr. Yudez at Forte Family Practice in Henderson. I experienced an outbreak on my face over the weekend that is herpes related and extremely painful. I called this office as soon as they opened on Monday morning and told them I'm in a lot of pain and need to see the doctor asap. They informed me there were no openings until the following Friday. I made that appointment but explained that I needed the prescriptions for the pain. They called them in but insurance said they need a prior authorization. I called the doctor back and they can't give prior authorization unless they see me! I explained they you won't see me until next Friday! They said come in and see the doctor's assistant at 10 AM. It's now 11:15 AM and I'm still waiting. The lady at the front desk told me 3 times you're next...but they keep calling other people back. When I went up to ask her about it she literally told me....Well at least we fit you in. It's unbelievable. My appointment literally took 5 minutes. We could have avoided all of this read more

This place has the worse answering service ever . They would put you on hold for a very long time and then they would ask you to press 1 for a callback and say you would not lose your place in line. When you press that option they would take hours to return your call or never return your call. I waited all day yesterday for their call and they tell you that your time is important to us. What a horrible service I can't wait when they try to bill me for a cancellation. read more

The Cheyenne office was ok but i moved away from the area and now sees a doctor at the Henderson office. Stay away from the Warm Springs location. They are the worst. They don't ever answers the phones. I've left 2 messages to request for appointments. No one ever called back. They don't care about their patients. I even mentioned on the messages that I need an appointment asap due to asthma flairup. I know they take walk-ins, just wanted to confirm the hours so I can take time off from work. I would have sit there and waited to be seen. I know i would have been ok if I could just get an in office breathing treatment and some oral steroids. Well 4 days later still no returns call from them. I ended up at the ER!! read more

I was 14 minutes late to an appointment I had, because I had to drop my kids off at school in Providence and got stuck in traffic on my way to the doctors office. I called the office on my way 3 times, to let them know I was running late to my appointment. Nobody answered, even though I stayed on hold for 15 minutes. Once I got there, I signed in and waited for 15 minutes to be told I was marked as a "no show" and they would need to reschedule me 5 days out. The problems I am having need immediate assistance, so now I'm sitting in the urgent care waiting room where I'm receiving much better customer service. I even explained my situation, and that I had called to let them know I would be late... but the receptionist kept saying there's nothing she could do. I left crying out of frustration. read more

I'd give 0 stars if possible. Thee absolute WORST "practice" I've ever dealt with. Was trying to get a simple albuterol inhaler refilled, the doctor that prescribed vanished like a fart in the wind. I called to follow up, the receptionist LIED and told me one of the physicians there filled it and everything was sorted only to find out they did no such thing. Care was subpar to say the least anytime I had an office visit. Go to a REAL doctors office and avoid this place like the plague. read more

I echo several complainants here. I saw the doctor to get a prescription. My pharmacist can't contact this office directly. We've left messages for each of the last six days. On the seventh day, I waited on hold for 35 minutes reach a call center to be told "I'll leave a message with them ..." I want to call my credit card to cancel may co-pay and tell my insurance not to pay. The doctor was fine but because of a poor office management and a fax pharmacists can't access, the appointment was pointless. read more
