It had a bedroom and a loft with another bed upstairs (both beds were full size). The kitchen has a microwave and stove, but no oven. It also has a refrigerator. There is a small TV with Direct TV if there's a game or something you just can't miss. There is also decent cell service (we have AT&T) and WiFi access. The bathroom had just a shower, which isn't a big deal for many people, but something to keep in mind if you have kids that only take baths. You have to bring your own linens. This is located on base at Fort Sill, but I believe people without a military ID can access the area with a visitors pass. In addition to cabins are tent sites and RV sites. You don't have to be camping to use the beach and other amenities like the playgrounds after paying an entrance fee. The beach has a lifeguard on duty and a facility with restrooms/showers. There is a little room for improvement when it comes to maintenance. There was peeling paint on our cabin, spiderwebs in many places outside, and a piece missing on our bench on the porch. There were seagull feathers and (dog?) poop all over the beach. Two of the three playgrounds were covered with overgrown grass (but to be fair one had a sign saying it was undergoing maintenance). Overall, I thought it was a great value at $90 per night. It's nothing fancy, but our cabin was perfect for "glamping" and the area is beautiful with picturesque views of Mount Scott. It was a nice, relaxing escape and I look forward to visiting again!

When I arrived, the doors were closed, but there was a sign saying to go to the front desk to place an order, so I followed the instructions. At the front desk, the employee saw me, looked annoyed, and quickly put his phone away. I asked if this was the correct place to order, but before I could even finish my sentence, I was told they were closed. I'm usually a pretty chill person and completely understand if they're closed, but the way it was handled made me feel like I was bothering them. A simple, polite response would have gone a long way.

It's beautiful! Above the short dam is swimming, no fishing. Below the dam is fishing, no swimming. We got you covered. Ninety years later, it's still wonderfu! The footbridge was rebuilt some years ago. There is a $3 charge to swim, and they have tubes and stuff for rent. It's hot! Let's go swimming!
