Packaged vegan food. Good cold or hot.
    Anita S.

Stumbled upon a surprising selection of pre packaged vegan foods at the back of the market. One package is less than $6 and is enough for two meals (or one really big indulgent meal). Also surprised to see microwaveable Indian food. Have been back several times and everything has been good. Nice owner and employees. The aisles leading to the back of the stores are loaded with organic whole foods at affordable prices. A really nice find if you work in the neighborhood to get some breakfast food , lunch, and snacks. Fresh fruit; sushi delivered daily; craft beer; red and white whites; with a chilled white wine selection. Too bad the concrete building is suffering and has sidewalk protection to keep pedestrians safe. Trillium is in the same building. Hope it gets some TLC soon.

Amazing beer, and hard to find, except at Fort Point market...

These guys are pretty great. I helped hem realize they were charging way too much for some of their Dogfish Head beers (which they carry as many of as they can, around 9 different ones that I counted) and not only did they change the prices on the spot, but charged me even less as a one time courtesy for helping them stay competitive with area shops. Highly recommend!

Great selection for a convenience store, I'd say.
    Annette A.

Seems like they're going to have a specialty in organic products. Noticed they had stocked their shelves today with Alba shampoos and cleansers , vegetables and rows of gluten-free cookies and crackers.

This is like a NYC bodega with an amazing selection of fresh fruits, snacks, wine and beer!

A great local market. Large selection of wines and alcohol, and a seemingly overwhelming selection of beer for such a small location. Bravo!

What a gem! Amazing craft beer selection. Local brews, Maine brews and imported brews i didn't think we're available this time of year.

Whole Foods meets niche convenience store. Great selections of brands, cool people running it, and a much needed addition to Fort Point.

We saw everyone walking around with their boxes and had to try their $9 cannolis. Our group was 4 adults and a toddler and we def ordered too much. We got a lobster tail and 4 cannolis, we would have definitely finished 2 cannolis amongst us and probably could have done without the lobster tail, it was something nice to try but they don't have napkins or seating and on a hot summer day, we tried to eat it standing and it was messy. The creams were really good and it was good fresh but it was quite sweet for me. We got the lobster tail which was a cream filled pastry and that had a lot of powder on top. For cannolis we got pistachio, lemon ricotta, chocolate ricotta, and Florentine. The Florentine cost a little more because it was a hard coated sugar crust. I preferred the lighter less sweet cannoli's like the lemon ricotta and pistachio. They were all good, but it was a lot for us, definitely shareable. The North End can get busy and it's an area full of restaurants, street parking is difficult. Service was efficient. More of a grab and go spot.

I've also made a customized version of the demogorgon to add caramel core and fudge sauce. You mostly taste the toppings more than the actual ice cream. The demogorgon is great for the chocolate on chocolate craving. I didn't like the Vader as much because the frosting on top is too sweet. Cannolis and cream I subbed the Oreo frosting with their homemade whip. Their whip doesn't taste like anything sadly and their frosting is overpowering. I probably wouldn't get this again since all you taste is the chocolate chips and a hint of Oreo. The yogurt itself was bland. For the blueb sundae I love the fresh blueberries, pudding and crumb topping. It's very nice for a fruit ice cream just wish the ice cream was more flavorful. Order online for easier pickup as there is only 1 screen to take orders at and no seating inside. Quick service. Has picnic tables outside to sit and not too bad to find parking on the street. Has some little tables but limited and twinkly lights at night. Staff seemed very stressed when people crowd around and needs better organization of the pickup area vs ordering vs waiting to avoid this frustration/rudeness from the staff.

That's where I first discovered an Orange Freeze, a refreshing frappe like combination of orange sherbet and vanilla soft serve that quickly became one of my favorite summertime treats. So after celebrating our daughter's birthday in Quincy, we decided to walk down the street to Dairy Freeze on Adams Street for dessert. To my surprise and delight, they had orange sherbet and vanilla soft serve in the same machine and even offered it as a twist. There was no way I was passing that up. The first taste instantly brought me back to those childhood summers. It was absolutely delicious and filled with so many great memories. Sometimes a simple ice cream can do that. Dairy Freeze is one of those iconic neighborhood establishments that has been putting smiles on people's faces for decades. Great ice cream, friendly service, and a little dose of nostalgia made this an unexpected highlight of our evening. I'm so glad we stumbled across it, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Quincy looking for a sweet treat.

The ice cream itself was sooo good. I got my usual: soft serve twist with rainbow sprinkles in a waffle cone. The cone was so fresh and flavorful, the rainbow sprinkles also tested fresh (I love when the sprinkles have their own distinct taste. That's how you know they're fresh), and the soft serve was cold and creamy. The dream. My friend got the cookie dough hard ice cream in a waffle cone and she really liked it too. The ordering/waiting lines were wild. Idk if it was an off-night when we went, but there were at least 15 people standing around waiting for their ice cream while we were in line ordering. Then it came our time to wait and it took 12 minutes just to get these 2 cones out. The kitchen was closed by the time we were there too, so no one was waiting on food. We were all waiting on an ice cream cone. I feel for them - it was a hectic summer night and everyone wants good ice cream - but I honestly hadn't seen anything quite like this before!

We got pretty lucky while roaming around and stumbled across what looks to be a new food hall that features a cool looking little ice cream shop called Crescent Ridge. Was I hungry? not really. Did I need ice cream? not at all. Did I order some since I probably won't be back for years? You betcha! I ended up ordering a two scoop cone with some form of cookie monster style ice cream as well as a scoop of double chocolate (or something like that). I was expecting two regular size scoops, but no, this cone was massive and dripping all over my hand (luckily, they offered a little bowl in case it melted to much) and I went to work on this thing. Both of the ice cream flavours were super rich, tasty, and really hit the spot (not of hunger, but of being cold) on a hot and humid New England day. Overall, Crescent Ridge is in the perfect location for grabbing some desert after eating at the food hall. The prices were reasonable, the kids working were great, and the ice cream gets a big thumbs up.
