There were 4 picnic tables + tons of room for kiddos to run by the splash pad, and a next-level playground my toddler can't wait to try when it's not blazing hot. Main parking lot is small, but there's overflow close by. Clean bathrooms and the whole place is really well maintained. Bonus: coffee truck up front--bring more food trucks and it's perfection. This 145 acre property located just northwest of the Lake Manatee Dam. The preserve's trail system leads visitors through four distinctive ecosystems, including sand pine scrub, xeric oak scrub, oak hammocks and the river community.
