After researching online and considering reviews I selected Forney Embroidery. I called on Monday, August 10 learned their hours 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, pricing to embroider a blanket, and turnaround time of 2-3 business days. I dropped my item off around 9:45 on Tuesday, August 11 and was asked when I'd like to pick it up and was told I would be called once it finished. I reconfirm their hours and expressed it would be after 5pm for me on Friday, August 14, I received no follow-up on Friday, I sent an inquiry on the NTX website. I called and left a voicemail on Saturday morning requesting a status update. Awaited contact on Monday and neither communication was addressed or responded to. I phoned today, Tuesday 8/18 explain my need and I was informed my blanket was ready, I inquire about the invoice amount and I expressed I would be in to pick it up today. There was no acknowledgement or apology extended for their delay or lack of follow-up. I arrive today at 5:47pm and the building, door, and gate are locked, parking lot empty...THEY ARE CLOSED. I can't express enough my disgust at this point. I'm a part of a large organization and was seeking a reputable small business that we could establish a business relationship with from shirts, hats, signs and other promotional items we may need in the future for our local chapter and state level suffice to say this was an epic FAIL. My initial item was a blanket for a member who is undergoing breast cancer treatment, my timeline and purpose were expressed with each interaction and to do my due diligence only to receive this level of service is deplorable. Tried this place and they completely ruin my bridal robe they put the initials I asked to go on the left chest on the left armpit! It's a satin robe and having them try to redo stitching on that material would ruin the robe even more! So disappointed and now I'm stuck with a ruin robe! read more

Well I have to say i've just been a bit disappointed in Forney Embrodiery. I first contacted them because of a recommendation. I already was using another vendor, but they were a big online company and I wanted to start looking for local family owned shops. The pricing when I first called was so much higher than I could get online I was finding it very hard to move my business. The owner worked with me and gave me a very good price. Not as cheap as the big company but I don't mind paying more for a local shop. That is why they get that second star. The poor review is for the service after. The shirts have always shown up in good condition and done well. The problem is getting them to show up. After my third order, i'm afraid to place a fourth. I am not pushy and I don't rush for my product. I simply ask for a timeline and then to stick by it or to contact me if it's going to change. Well the timeline is hard enough to get, but it never gets followed. For instance my last order was placed, and then after two weeks I call (on a monday) to ask status. I am told the shirts are all there and I will have that wednesday. So when I call back two weeks later I am being blown off by the owner. She no longer accepts my calls and I have to start working with the other employees. The girl on the phone then tells me (it's monday again) that of course the shirts are there and I will have them thursday, but she says just in case friday at the latest. Well here it is that very friday and i'm calling them. The owner is "busy" but has the girl on the phone tell me fed ex is picking up the package as we speak. I paid for the order on sept. 20th, and here I am october 28th waiting on my shirts. Well this is pretty much the status quo for how I have been treated for each order. read more
