I had already been told by one jeweler that it couldn't be done. I went ahead and stopped thinking I might need a whole new setting. I left the ring and the girl told me someone would call me with a quote (I only left it because the reviews were so good). Noah called me this afternoon and 100% walked me through the whole process. He assured me that at anytime that my ring was still there, I could stop in and check on it. He also offered a couple other services that were not necessary. He did not in any way pressure me to buy these services, just let me know what they were and what they cost. I have my wedding set that I bought from another store and I've taken it back and had it worked on, cleaned and re-dipped several times. I have NEVER had a jeweler call me or pull me aside to explain everything to me. I can't wait to get my ring back and see how it is. The man purporting to be the jeweler felt it more important to stare me down when I asked about pressure testing the Tag. I am around 6'2 and he is taller. He stepped too close. I told him I felt he was staring me down and too close. I asked him about his attire trying to diffuse. He refused service (which is totally within his prerogative) so I apologized. He seemed to take satisfaction on demeaning me. I got a service ticket, however returned to collect my watches. I offered to pay for any cancelation and he declined. Based on the reviews I have read, I think I should have gone to the Forney location.
