There are at least 4 different Honda dealerships within driving distance in my area but I have to say Formula Honda is my choice when I need to buy or lease a new car or have my car serviced! The receptionist here is nice and warm and always greeted me with a big smile. The show room is roomy and has the latest model on displayed. I never have any problems to take any cars out for a test drive. The prices are always reasonable. My salesperson George more than willing to accommodate my needs and answer my questions and he is knowledgeable and never pushy. (when I am ready I am ready!!) There is also a comfortable waiting area when you waited for your car being serviced. Yes they have a Net Zone where you can go online while waiting! Aaron, my sales rep, provided me with possibly the best customer service I've received in years. Even though there was a dealership that was much closer to me, I opted to go with this one because Aaron went the extra mile to make things quick and painless. He treated me like a human being and he stayed away from the smarmy and cliched tactics of other salespeople I've dealt with in the past. Communication was steady but not too frequent, responses to my questions were almost immediate, and Aaron's knowledge of policies and practices was impressive. I actually enjoy going to get my car serviced here! The staff are meticulously thorough, friendly, attentive, and customer focused. I am in and out, and if I can't they arrange a rental for me free of charge for the day. The only thing I don't understand is why they don't provide Honda car rentals. Came here because my civic clutch wasn't shifting correctly. Every other Honda dealer wanted $ first before taking a look. Even though I had extended warranty it wasn't covered. Of course. These guys however took my car for a spin before me handing any money over. They diagnosed the problem and it wasn't NECESSARILY something that was covered under warranty. HOWEVER, what put these guys above all the rest, was that they replaced my CMC (which was covered) before replacing anything else. Every other Honda dealer didn't give me the time of day. They all wanted $ before diagnosis and kept telling me how "it's this piece, it's not covered, blah blah blah, pay us money" Next time I have a problem, warranty or not, I'm coming back here ! There are 5 other Honda dealers that are closer to me than this one, but honestly, it's worth the extra 15 mins to come out here! I have already recommended friends here and will continue to do so. Service advisors were okay. Be wary of the warranties even if parts or anything came with your vehicle. One time I had to bring in my CR-V for a busted heated passenger seat, but they won't honour the warranty. Their reason was it was third party. My explanation was it came with the vehicle when I bought it. Careful too, these dealerships can interpret warranties according to how they understand it and it could vary dealer to dealer. Honda is great for cars, but dealerships are very low for after-sales service. read more

I have always had impeccable service from this dealership since I bought my brand new honda insight. I bought a 2019 Honda Insight from this dealership and also had my previous owned vehicles serviced over the years at this dealer. The service agent that always helped me out was Kumar. They had great customer service and always took care of me. But it has come to the point that I had to come down to write this review. I brought my vehicle in for a battery charging light malfunction. Upon bringing the car there they had assured me that this was going under warranty since the car had less than 25000km at this point. I dropped my car they gave me a call saying there was water damage caused to the vehicle and they will not cover it. They had told me water went through the center console and leaked on to the battery. On their report that they wrote out it says that water had seeped through from the cup holders and went to the bottom of the battery tray. It was clear that there was no water in the cup holders and there was no water on the carpet of the vehicle. If that were the case the car would of smelt like mold right away. I have asked them to provide me pictures of where the water was sitting and how the water cold of gotten there. They told me they did not have any pictures to prove to me that it was my fault. At that point I knew something was fishy. Later that day i went back to the dealership they had told me they figured out why that light is on. They had told me that it was due to a blown fuse which was caused by a wiring harness which was spliced. At this time i just wanted my car back. So I told them to go ahead. They charged me $900 to do the repairs on the vehicle. My car is a 2019 vehicle with low km this should of been covered under warranty. Regardless i paid and they performed the repairs. I got my car back did not even have it for an hr and the light came back on. They assured me that the repairs they just did triggered the light to come on and it wont happen again. I immediately dropped the car back off to them so they can figure out what is going on. On the report that they gave me that day it stated that they did take the vehicle for a test drive but when I looked into it further I realized that they did not even take the vehicle out of the dealership. I have dash cam footage of the vehicle sitting on their lot. After all of this they called me Thursday assured me everything is working everything is fixed the fuse had blown again for some odd reason. I was just relived to have my car back. But this time they put it under warranty. Why couldnt they put the previous repair under warranty as well was my next question. Regardless I was happy to get my car back. I go out to my car and my car is in a utter disaster. THEY DID NOT PERFORM ANY REPAIRS! The car was all in pieces all the trims all the wiring was out of place. I was furious at this point. I went back into the dealership and got the service advisor Kumar and Nisan Thiru to come out to see the car. They looked at the car and were speechless. I had told him that this is not how you deal with a customer. How do you assure me that my vehicle is ready, road test is completed, everything is working fine. I come to my car and see it not even assembled. All the parts are all over my interior damaging my leather. I bought this car BRAND NEW. I kept my vehicle in pristine condition. Coming back to the dealership that I trust and service my vehicles at and coming to look at my vehicle like that just made me think why I even took my vehicle in to this dealer in the first place. To top it off, the car I received temporarily while my vehicle is in repair was filthy! Childrens toys in the back, dust everywhere. Carpet seats everything disgusting- a vehicle given to us without any sort of detailing or care when given to us. This was the worst customer service I have ever received from any dealership. They are unorganized and are not willing to take the extra mile to please a customer. My car is still at the dealership with no updates besides pending part. I have called numerous times. I have dash cam footages, km in and outs and pictures of the interior the day I came to pick up the car. I am beyond frustrated and I want someone to get into contact with me immediately. This is no joke. Spending all the money I had buying a new vehicle and the utter most disappointment I have received from this dealership since then is disgusting. I will escalate this issue further. I did not buy a brand new vehicle to run into problems like this. I seriously cannot believe how they are treating me after 5 year relationship. My car has been in the shop for the same issue since June 29, 2019. It is now July 29, 2019 - exactly one month and my car is still in their lot, with zero to no effort made to fix or prioritize this issue. So disappointed. We will be escalating this. read more

When I went to the dealership, I was looking for a used CRV. With the current market and having looked at many other dealerships, I was expecting a significant markup on any vehicle presented to me. I was greeted by Shan, a sales manager, who was very knowledgeable and informative in presenting vehicle options. To my surprise, the vehicles he showed were VERY close to the value of the car! He, along with Nicky, the finance manager, were thorough in the sales and financing process. I was very thorough with my research and at no time did I feel ripped off by these staff. They ensured that everything that I received and signed off on was in MY best interest. Donnavan, a brand ambassador, was very helpful in delivering the vehicle and explaining all of the features and options. The car was pristine when delivered and they even included brand new winter tires for free! When I had a couple of questions after the sale, I was directed to Kumar, a service manager, who was very helpful and provided complimentary services! I had to give Gordon Wong at Formula Honda a perfect five stars. He sold us a new 2017 Honda Touring. There was no sales pressure and everything was explained in full detail regarding payment options and the car's features. He drove a demo of the car with us that we wanted to buy. He also give us a very good resale value of our old cars as we trade in two old cars for one new one. Even the after sales when we finally received the car, he explained the full features of the car and show how it works. Answered all our questions. I just want to start of by saying our interaction with Honda dealerships started of very negatively UNTIL we came to Formula Honda!! From the moment that we found the car on auto trader to the moment we picked it up the experience has been amazing! My husband dealt with brand ambassador Mansoor. From their first interaction Mansoor has been phenomenal and he went above and beyond! He gave us a virtual tour of the car via a personal video before we even came to the dealership. He was very professional. When we got to the dealership he had the car ready for us, we didn't have to wait at all! We also met Al (used car manager) he was very friendly and very welcoming, he himself came out after our test drive and answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns! Mansoor told us we could take our time which was great because this is the first time we are buying a car from a dealership and this is going to be our family car and with two small kids you can never be too careful. When we got back to the dealership about 45 minutes later Mansoor came outside to check on us and discuss the car and our drive. He was very knowledgeable and when he didn't know something he went to ask for help (Thanks Aaron) instead of making something up or lying. We were there for about 5 hours and at no point in time did we feel rushed or pressured. Mansoor took his time with us even though we had a lot of questions and a lot of negotiating to do. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and everyone said hello to us! Finally we met with the finance manager Farhan, he treated us with respect and we never felt like he was being pushy, we got a great rate and term and the response was quick! I went for the service of my Honda civic 2008. Message on display was A1. They changed oil and perhaps filter too and installed winter tires instead of rotation as I took my winter tires with me. Then they said get wheel balancing. After that they said alignment, and transmission fluid and steering fluid also needed to be replaced. I got wheel alignment done and later found out that transmission fluid and steering fluid were not needed to be replaced. I don't know whether even balancing and alignment was needed. read more

My car is currently under warranty and i brought my car to them because there seemed to have been a transmission issue and they are telling all sorts of things that were wrong. They asked me where did i last service it. I told them i didn't really service the car i just did 2 oil changes. Then they tell me all sorts of rubbish about how the person who did the oil change messed up the transmission fluid cover and all sorts of rubbish. I should have listened to myself and not bought a car from Formula Honda, instead i allowed myself to be sold a dream by their sales people. Just when i was about to recommend them to my little sister they revealed themselves. I don't ever write reviews, but I recently visited Formula Honda looking to buy my first car, and I can honestly say I've never had such a terrible customer experience in my life. I found the sales staff to be pushy, arrogant, and bluntly telling me the research I've done for the last month and what I had been told from the other 4 Honda dealerships I'd been to that week as wrong. I had told them what I was looking for, and for some reason they kept trying to get me into a newer model that was 5-8k above what I was looking for. Went for a free oil change beacuse it was offered came out with valve cover gasket replaced. Never trust what they say. Trying to replace parts you dont really need to change. i would give it 3 stars as well. overall they are pretty well organized and runs wuite smoothely. they always have a good amount of staff on site. but the problem lies in their negotiations. they charge quite a bit for me for services esepically when its a honda civic. on top of that theydont ever seem willing to come down on the price , which is understandable but its a bit ridiculous as well considering how expensive cars are. ive had friends tell me that when they go to other dealerships they can still negotiate for certain things, but here it seems you cant get anything done read more

I thought I'd give a second chance to get service done here. I should've gone other places. Booked my appointment for 9am and was told to wait until 11am or comeback at 2pm. I thought it's only 2 hrs, should be pretty quick for an oil change. Not only it took longer but no regards for the clients. Been waiting for additional 2hrs after 11am. At 1pm the rep says the car a out for testing and should be back in 10 mins. It's been more than 45 since then and no word. Just pathetic service.
