What made it worse was that all the employees looked like they were around 16 years old and had zero customer service skills. No one greeted me with a smile, asked if I needed help, or tried to explain the situation kindly. After being turned away, I checked online and found out that it costs $50 just to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses. Between the misleading signage, the lack of professionalism, and the poor service, this was a really disappointing experience, especially when planning something as meaningful as a wedding. I would not recommend this shop. As a business owner, turning someone away is something I would never do. When you have clients you always make time or at least treat them with respect at the least.

We arrived 10 minutes early and waited until 30 minutes past the appointment time, but no one showed up. There was no way to contact them, and we received no communication from them. We even tried reaching out through social media and contacted the owner, Robin Dutruch, but still haven't heard anything back. This is an absolute disgrace and a terrible way to run a business. Their policy states that no-shows lose their deposit, but what happens when they're the ones who no-show? Fortunately, by the grace of God, I was able to contact the owner of Ashley Renee Bridal in Livingston, LA, last minute on a Sunday. They were incredibly compassionate about our situation and opened their shop to accommodate our party. I highly recommend avoiding Bliss Bridal; they clearly don't value their customers and don't deserve your business. UPDATE: the owner Robin called me back at 430 pm same day, and said she 'oops she forgot , she is not used to taking Sunday appts '. What??? No remorse nothing! Unfortunately, Gabrielle ruined that excitement for me. I arrived 30 minutes early to the lovely shop, where I was warmly greeted and offered water and champagne. While I waited, I browsed around until Gabrielle came to take my measurements and ask about the style and cut I wanted. I told her in detail and even showed her pictures of a dress I had tried on at another shop earlier that day and loved the style. She completely ignored my preferences and brought me something entirely opposite. I told her I didn't like any of those dresses and didn't want to waste time trying them on. She asked if I thought I had already found my dress. I replied that I had found the style I liked. She then mentioned there were other dresses I could look at on the left. I understand the dress may have to be ordered, but every dress I picked out, she said that even if they got them in and I had someone alter it, it would take away from the dress. I told her it would be my choice if I paid for the dress and had it altered elsewhere, and I still wanted to try it on to see how it looked on me. It's like she didn't want me to order a dress or try on any. Another staff member brought the dresses I'd chosen to the fitting room, and Gabrielle came as I was approaching the fitting room asking if I wanted her help or someone else's. By that point, I was over how unhelpful she was--it felt like she didn't really want to help me find a dress. Based on my experience, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
