I was quickly told I needed an appointment, even though there's a big sign right on their front door that says no appointment needed. What made it worse was that all the employees looked like they were around 16 years old and had zero customer service skills. No one greeted me with a smile, asked if I needed help, or tried to explain the situation kindly. After being turned away, I checked online and found out that it costs $50 just to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses. Between the misleading signage, the lack of professionalism, and the poor service, this was a really disappointing experience, especially when planning something as meaningful as a wedding. I would not recommend this shop. As a business owner, turning someone away is something I would never do. When you have clients you always make time or at least treat them with respect at the least.

Fortunately, by the grace of God, I was able to contact the owner of Ashley Renee Bridal in Livingston, LA, last minute on a Sunday. They were incredibly compassionate about our situation and opened their shop to accommodate our party. I highly recommend avoiding Bliss Bridal; they clearly don't value their customers and don't deserve your business. Went online to book, and couldn't book VIP service online because it requires calling in. So...called in to book vip appointment and was told to email someone which I did right then. Tuesday rolls around and no response to email. Called and was told that only one person handling VIP appointments and she is off on Tuesday (not sure why she didn't respond to email on Monday.). Anyway, on Wednesday she responded to say appointment date and time wasn't available. I called to express my disappointment and everyone was very kind. However, they did say that even though they said date was available they can't see VIP calendar. That needs to be addressed.
